Officials in Poland are hailing an upcoming visit by Donald Trump

@Dirk diggler
I live in a rather small to medium town of Zielona Góra and I see lots of new and expensive cars here. 911 GT3 RS'es, Audi R8, Ferrari or SLRs every other day.

PS1. Whoever thinks Poland is poor and/or meaningless (in the World not just Europe lol) is either an idiot or a hater like Delph and his agenda

PS2. If anyone thinks that Poland being a Net beneficiant means Poland gets EU money for free is simply an idiot. EU INVESTS in Poland and that means EU countries EXPECT PROFIT. It's simple common sense. It's how the world works.

I don't want terrorist attacks in poland plain and simple. I don't want Warsaw to ever turn into paris and have to live under a state of emergency and deal with riots and destroyed property. The migrant issue is one of the hottest topics in Europe now. This is a big problem no matter how you look at it. I don't know why you say I'm not being sensible though. Like I said we did our part we took in ukranians Georgians and even chechens. Were tapped out. Finito. Go elsewhere.

And yes Christ was pronounced king of Poland by both poles and the government namely parliament. This occurred a few months ago. This is so people know that well always resist and no one will erode our culture.

Also were talking about Poland... Not trump.. ..I work in international business. I've been to many 3rd world countries.

The only thing that I believe will solve this crisis is closing of all European borders to people with no paperwork and investment in Africa and asia

Poland just showed how much class they have by the warm welcome that they gave President Trump and the kind words for him.
Even the little gingle that they were shouting was way cool.
Trumping and jumping today is trendy. Trumping and jumping. I'm Trendy Andy. Sing and jump, sing and jump! Sing all together for Donald Trump

Very mature people with manners.
Even those who protested him being in Poland weren't out on the streets acting like hateful animals with no brains.
Seems Poland is not only the most civilized country in the E.U. but also the most respected because of the examples that they have shown to the rest of the uncivilized world.

Hopefully the rest of the E.U. took notice on how educated and civilized people act.
Someone should tell the Germans that you have to earn respect, you can't demand respect.

Yes proclaimed in a ceremony of nutjobs in Krakow - have a look at some photos. Of course Poland's puppet president decided it would be god to take part in this risible spectacle.

So now you have a great idea for your tattoo - Jezus Król. Though of course the bible explicitly forbids tattoos (Leviticus) so that might clash with your firm belief in Christian values. Or does Christian values to you merely signify stopping migrants ?

As for Trump well he won the election fair and square but there is still no evidence he is liked anywhere except the US (and even there he is the most unpopular president in history). After the election according to Newsweek only 20 percent of Poles approved of him and only 13 percent preferred him to Hillary Clinton. That is self evident - she was experienced and well known here and for all her faults a comfortable option. Trump is an inexperienced imbecile whose first act in foreign policy was to sack everyone in the State Deoartment who knew what they were doing. Of course he can replace them with unqualified family members so nobody would notice a difference.

In other countries too then he is not popular because he promotes confrontation and chaos and never listens to other points of view.

We are one year on from the Brexit/Trump conceit that they were creating a movement and we can see what a pigs ear has been mad or UK and US politics now that they have to govern the 50 percent of people they insulted. Meanwhile the rest of the world is getting organised and will not be afraid to stand up to Trump.

Its about preserving Christianity and not having Islam replace the country's religion - not my own piety. I may only go to church a handful of times a year but ill be damned if someone messes with it or tells the parish that the crosses are offending them. Just as when the Turks tried to invade Europe all the way up to Vienna to impose their will and impose their religion - knights with crosses drawn on their armor held them back. The bible was also written by people who thought the world was flat okay so bad example with the tattoo. This is not about how pious of a Christian I am this is about protecting and preserving the faith and passing down traditions sacraments etc to our next generation. Fortunately most poles feel the same as I do hence why it passed in parliament I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was passed with a high majority.

We have declared Christ the king of Poland. Christianity is our religion and we won't have someone challenge that. Islam attempts to spread itself BY CONQUEST!!! If they can't do it through war they'll do it another way. Even the imams boast about how they replace Europeans simply by demographics because they can't freaken wrap it up and stop putting out children like stoned test bunnies. No one in the modern developed world has 7 9 kids let alone 2 3 up to 4 wives. Recently the BBC even put out an article saying how most Muslim men young and old don't believe in equal rights for women.

Do you not understand this is an invasion? People are coming in destroying the place, plundering the nations wealth to provide money homes services for them, they grope and rape European women, they spread their ideology making demands of halal food, Arabic and islamic services...

Now some even want their own courts! Can you fathom that coming to a country and you don't like their laws so your religious group forms its own courts.

And how do they pay Europeans , the gracious hosts that they are back? Not just demanding money and welfare but blowing people up running em over with cars leaving trash everywhere setting cars on fire not only cop cars but normal everyday peoples car and property. Even in the UK they march on the streets chanting uk go to hell!! How could you be so blind to all this? This will be the great replacement - the French will become a minority in their own country. Germany is overflowing now too. 80% of schoolkids in some areas aren't native. Well poles want to rule poland. Everyone deserves to rule their own nation according to their own laws traditions and customs whether its russians or poles or Israelis or palestinians - not to have a large group conquer the place and establish their rule. That's what conquering armies do just like what the Soviets did. Oh ya but they Were the good guys there to help us... Were not going to just hand over our way of life to accommodate people from a different culture who have a significant amount individuals that riot, murder people, destroy property , chant that the country goes to hell.. Forget about it.. These people were helped yet look how many of them pay us back. Not all of them are bad of course but far too many individuals are.

First few minutes are citizens recordings of Muslims rioting burning stuff trashing the place and at 5 minutes uk Muslims screaming uk go to hell

The simple truth is, that Poland is increasingly isolated in Europe

Not really. The press and German government plus their lackey in Brussels are not prising Poland for being a good little butler and a yes man. You can keep it tighter with Tusk and we can send you some more of your bought 'friends' for free. That is just talk. Clearly Germany should realize that it doesn't work. Push Poland some more and the EU will end on the German eastern border.

It doesn't have 12 allies

Seems like have at least 11 prospective partners in Europe that are willing to do business and have a vested interest in three seas initiative. All that supported by the USA. A very good beginning.

How many allies Germany really has? France, Austria and Russia? Good luck with that.

If Warsaw maintains its' current course, it will be increasingly sidelined on European affairs, which I'd find regrettable.

You have a very good hearth I do appreciate your concern for the wellbeing of Poland.

The better question, who doesn't support Germany regularly in Europe? In most crucial matters, e.g. regarding Greece, sanctions against Russia et al. most countries agree with Germany.

And which of those countries do you sincerely expect to side with Poland against the EU when in question? No one was willing to support Warsaw against the reelection of Tusk. And since both the EU and Germany offer all countries of the Seven sea initiave better economic incencitive, you can be sure that they won't side with Warsaw against Brussels or Berlin.

The USA won't be of much help either in most matters because they are shifting their attention to Asia.

What is the aim of Donald Trump's visit to Poland?

The aim of the visit is clear. So the US tv networks show him arriving in Europe to a well-behaved crowd, rather than to massive protests like the ones at the meeting he was actually attending.

> Hamburg riots

I believe most Germans use the lowest/most basic car insurance and it does not cover vandalism. Reports of some rioters being from Switzerland/Italy etc. How can Germany just allow foreigners to enter and wreck havoc like this without any legit punishment? When Russian hooligans caused chaos in France, the Russian federation was fined. When Brits did the same recently at an UEFA Championships League match - the perpetrators received multiple year jail sentences.

Germany is too soft on Native left and ethnic right groups.

car insurance

Don't worry. If Trump had his way, most people in Europe wouldn't be able to afford cars anyway.

Germany is too soft on Native left and ethnic right groups.

Perhaps something happened in their history to make them wary of authoritarianism. I wonder what...

The better question, who doesn't support Germany regularly in Europe?

No, the best question would be why Germany is bothered that some countries are looking after their own interests? If the EU is to be ruled by Germany and not to be a concert of nation that initiative has no sense at all.

And since both the EU and Germany offer all countries of the Seven sea initiative better economic incencitive, you can be sure that they won't side with Warsaw against Brussels or Berlin.

Interesting that is the way Berlin see the three seas initiative as organization aimed to stand against Berlin. Do they in Berlin have their own plan for this region? A plan they didn't feel a need to share with their EU partners or ask them for their consent.? tsk tsk that wouldn't be nice, peaceful and charitable at all if this assumption of mine would have reflected reality.

The USA won't be of much help either in most matters because they are shifting their attention to Asia.@ Tacitus

It doesn't mean that they'll let go of Europe - that would have been stupid in the long run. Seemly might stop depend on the old (and always shaky) alliance with countries like Germany and France and shift they attention to build much closer ties with Central/eastern Europe (which is bigger than western part of the continent).

President Trump no more then got back home before he put out his first tweet.
"The #G20Summit was a wonderful success and carried out beautifully by Chancellor Angela Merkel. Thank you!"

The Liberal Left protesters (just like the ones in the U.S.A.) were out spewing their hate and bitterness.
When they don't get their way they have a meltdown and throw the typical immature child's temper tantrum.
You can always tell the ones whose parents didn't believe in spanking them when they were children to teach them "ACCOUNTABILITY".
Now as adults Millenials they are totally out of control and nobody can stand to be around them.
I am talking about the rallies turning violent.
Police say 213 officers were injured, and 143 people were detained at the protests.
The demonstrators were protesting against the presence of Trump and Putin, as well as climate change and global wealth inequalities.
Boo Hoo Hoo
That is a good reason to throw lethal weapons such as bottles and road pavement at police in a attempt to kill them.
These punks should have been met with lethal force (a mounted 50 caliber on a half track) to show these punks who is in charge.
That "may" just be enough to get their attention to what happens when you assault a police officer with a deadly weapon.......well in America and many other countries anyways that allow the police to defend themselves.

See, as much as you are desperate for another brutal war in Europe, police here have no interest in murdering civilians.

The fact that you suggest on a Polish forum of all places that the police should murder protestors says it all. People in Poland would spit in your face for making such a suggestion, not least because of the history of police being used to murder civilian demonstrators.
OP johnny reb  47 | 7683

you are desperate for another brutal war in Europe

The Islamic terrorists already have that planned.

police here have no interest in murdering civilians.

I am sure they don't however self defense is not murder, it justifiable.
You are obviously one of those children that never received a good spanking when you needed to be taught some manners and be held accountable.

You think it is o.k. for civilians to assault the police by using deadly force but if the police used deadly force to protect themselves you call it murder.

The people in Poland would spit big green gobs of snot in your face after they stomped your face into the pavement and urinated on you, as a the foreigner that you are, living in Poland if you threw a brick and hit a Polish police officer in the head.

If you don't believe me give it a try and let us knowhow it worked out for you.
Did you notice how those punks minded their P's & Q's the last night of the G-20 when German's heavily armed military was sent in for crowd control.

The little punks weren't quite so vocal as they were in the previous two nights now were they proving my point.

The Islamic terrorists already have that planned.

As do the Americans from the sounds of things. Even more reason for Europe to create a common European army to fight against aggressors, be they American or otherwise.

I am sure they don't however self defense is not murder, it justifiable.

There is no justification for the police to murder civilians. Poland already went through several traumatic episodes in which that happened, which is why the Polish police don't use lethal force. This isn't America, police here do not pull guns and shoot people dead for being black.

The people in Poland would spit big green gobs of snot in your face after they stomped your face into the pavement and urinated on you, as a the foreigner that you are

I'm sorry to break it to you, but Polish police aren't thugs like in the US. They detain people in a civilised way, and they certainly do not "urinate" on people.

If the American police think that urinating on the dead body of black children is acceptable behaviour, then I pity you.

you really believe that Trump chosen Poland as his first visit in Europe just to sell some patriot missiles? 0.5 billion contract...its peanuts...sure Trump is trying to do some business whenever he goes ,but lets be real, there are countries with much bigger military expenditure budget than Poland.

i think,US misunderstood 3 seas initiative as some sort of EU alternative, but it seems that Poland wants this initiative as v4 expansion to balance power vs Germany within EU.at least, not inviting Ukraine would suggest as such.
cms  9 | 1253
9 Jul 2017 /  #354
Peanuts overall but in swing state Arizona where those missiles are made then that is quite a big contract.

But no I don't think that is the reason he visited Poland first - I agree it was about optics / Russia plus PolAm support in some states which were crucial to his victory like Wisconsin and Michigan. He has small majorities in those places.

The Liberal Left protesters (just like the ones in the U.S.A.) were out spewing their hate and bitterness.

You are missing some crucial background information when it comes to the anarchists in Hamburg and Berlin. These thugs have been battling the police every May 1st since the early 1980's. They were/ are squatting, they are burning cars and are looting ever since. Unfortunately for the police, German judges are far too soft. They can arrest these criminals, and it takes half a day before they are released again.

German cops generally don't shoot to kill like in the US. They are trained to disable an attacker by aiming at the legs first. Only if an attacker tries to use lethal force himself, will the cops blow off his head. This strategy is actually quite successful with far less fatalities than in America.

Not American cops, they are trained to shoot at mass which is the chest my friend.
Cops in America don't shoot to wound, they shoot to kill.
If they possibly can they will use a stun gun to disable.

Its more like $4.5billion. Its not peanuts. However, Trumps visit has nothing to do with it. Its a tradition for countries to sign these deal when foreign dignitaries visit. They may not even happen, but its just publicity.

even if people were transported to Trump's rally in Warsaw by coaches it doesn't mean they were their against there will or they were somehow told to

Liberal US newspapers interviewed some of the bussed in supporters and they were pro Trump. The reality is 22% of Poles not view Trump as a ******* moron, thats 8 million idiots to choose from.
