Anyway in quite a few European countries minorities have a guaranteed presence in the political process.
Poland's Nationalists hold congress
Which ones ?
For example me and my family by calling us camouflaged German option or something like that- many ppl won't forget him that.
Which ones ?
The Silesian Autonomous Movement for example?
As an example, do some research why does the German minority always get seats in Sejm, despite having nowhere near 5% of popular vote.

Kaczynski wanted to remove their exemption, I recall. Some bollocks about how it's not fair that national minorities in Poland get that, while economic minorities in Germany don't.
For example me and my family by calling us camouflaged German option or something like that
Does your family declare Silesian nationality and support RAŚ ?
My close family don't. And I don't. But we still felt slighted and offended by that statement. And as I said- many ppl won't forget him this.
nd as I said- many ppl won't forget him this.
Because Kaczyński like no one else knows how to unite his enemies against him and then find some new ones too.

Delph you are talking bollocks. Polish minority in Germany had her rights taken away by Hitler and the currrent German government lead by a Marxist Commie upheld that ruling.
Does your family declare Silesian nationality and support RAŚ ?
Does it matters?
But we still felt slighted and offended by that statement. And as I said- many ppl won't forget him this.
One can feel closer to Germany or Poland or can be equally attached to both. However there isn't Silesia nationality and never were. It is a plot to get the special treatment - privileges in the Polish state. After recognized minorities came monies.
Seems to me that many people already did forget.
Offended? Where their action put Konfantry and all these Silesian who fought to belong be part of Poland.
I would support self-government anywhere if people really want that. However for that Constitution would have to be changed.
I'm not going to support some idiots who want to start a new nation WTF?
Does it matters?
Oh, to some I guess it does. I was asked that question many times. As well as for my nationality, my mother tongue and so on. I have nothing to hide in that respect so I don't mind.
One can feel closer to Germany or Poland or can be equally attached to both.
Supporting RAŚ and calling Silesians a German option in disguise are two different things. I don't support RAŚ- I already stated that I would move if it happened- but I don't appreciate what he said. As well as many here- many that would never checked the "Silesian" nationality in some polls but felt attacked by that statement.
the currrent German government lead by a Marxist Commie upheld that ruling
Merkel a Marxist Commie. That's golden :)

Separatism is dangerous.

Separatism is dangerous.
There is nothing wrong with separatism in general but attempts to build a new nation in present situation its somebody's idea to get a dough.
seems like you are not up to scratch Dodie
Righto

What rights? I'd love to know what rights the Polish minority in Weimar Germany had that ordinary Germans didn't.
As for Merkel being a "Marxist Commie" - dear oh dear, will you stop at nothing with your lies and propaganda?
Who are you to deny people the right to say what they are?

The Voice of reason and the truth?
Anyway they can say whatever they like it doesn't make it so.
What rights?
the rights of being recognized as national minority for starters. The right taken away in 1940 by the Nazis.
Germans see the asymmetry in our relations.
Jaroslaw Kaczynski called recently to introduce a symmetry in the living conditions of Poles in Germany and Germans in Poland. Is this balance needed?
Symmetry is obviously needed. It showed even talks about the 20th anniversary of the Treaty of good neighborliness and friendly cooperation between Polish and Germany. In the context of this event Polish and German round table was organized. And German politicians themselves, like Cornelia Pieper, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany and the commissioner. Polish-German Federal Government talks about asymmetry prevailing in our relations. Germans know that there is asymmetry. It amazes however the behavior of many Polish politicians who believe that Poland and Poles should stay out of sight.

Election year in Germany - the lefties (SPD/Greens) don't know how to grab power, so they resort to character assasination as usual.
the rights of being recognized as national minority for starters. The right taken away in 1940 by the Nazis.
Poles in Germany have the same rights as for example Belgians in Poland, and Poles in Belgium. Check the relevant EU website. What's the big deal here?
I think white on white is dumb!
According to Millard Brown's polls over 30 % young Poles can vote for National Movement. Also over 10 % of all voters.
Not bad. There's still hope for this country :)

"Can" doesn't mean "will".
It seems highly unlikely that such an organisation will get anywhere near the 5% required.
They've certainly never come near that in the past.
"They" weren't such near as they never existed in such form. They are a movement of predominantly younge people, with educated young leaders.
This is noticed and liked by many people.
They are seen as the only hope for the young generation.

They are seen as the only hope for the young generation.
Strange, because as far as I can see, the young generation embraced Ruch Palikota decisively last time round.
They are a movement of predominantly younge people, with educated young leaders.
They are a movement of the same old faces. I saw the pictures of their congress - it's the same old opportunists dressed up in new clothes.
This is noticed and liked by many people.
Hardly. Young people in Poland are often discriminated against.
Yeah, have you noticed that Palikot is losing in polls now and the latest election were much earlier than National Movement began to act?
It was formed on 11.11.2012 during The Independence March organised by them - with 50 to 100 thousands people taking part. No party ever before has succeeded that much in gathering their fans. Thousands of young, proud patriots came to the capital to show their love for their country and the Movement ... exploded.

This is a nice gallery - do they look dangerous? No, they are normal young Polish people like anyone else.
Now the Movement are present in all medias. I;m sure they will easily get to the PArliament

Palikot is doing just fine in the polls - they are consistently getting enough of the vote to be returned to the Parliament, and telephone polls (which all polls are) are unreliable due to Ruch Palikota having many young voters who won't have landlines.

Oh dear.

Some of an estimated 20,000 marchers
More lies?
Thousands of young, proud patriots came to the capital to show their love for their country and the Movement ... exploded
I bet not one of them has done a patriotic thing for their country. When was the last time any of them cleaned up dog mess or volunteered in a soup kitchen?
Now they are present in all medias. I;m sure they will easily get to the PArliament
I look forward to laughing in 2015.
Why do you call all other media than BBC liars?
And even with 20 k it's still a huge number.
Still much more young people than anyone managed to gather before.
Well, if taking care of dog's waste is patriotism - then I'm the first to start laughing. Now.

I think the BBC can be trusted more than the organisers, don't you?
And even with 20 k it's still a huge number.
Not really. Turnouts in Polish elections are around 50% of the vote, so around 15 million voters. You need 5% of them to get into the Sejm - so around 750,000. 20,000 is well short of that number.

What difference does it make?
Well, if taking care of dog's waste is patriotism - then I'm the first to start laughing. Now.
It certainly is. Real patriots love their country and work to improve it.

You're manipulating the numbers which are not the same.
Shame on you !
Is this your tactics? A man who has just accused me of lying ....
***** patriotism" could be a good idea for Ruch Palikota. They love such things and that's why the majority of the Poles laugh at them. Palikto himself is one of the top unliked politicians.
They are seen as the only hope for the young generation.
By whom?
By a rapidly growing number of the youngs, of course.
