It depends on who shoots and who gets shot. Not every combination is bad violence in the country I love and adore - the USA. In Europe - every violence is bad. Even the cops are unarmed and scared. Especially when facing foreign scum.
How many white people like you or me were shot by the cops in the US in, say, 2017? I mean people who respect the LE officers and understand what such complex commands like you are under arrest, drop the gun, don't move, do not resist actually mean.
I am not sure if they were scared but I am certain that every cop has this crazy hope to be in his bed next to his wife every single day rather than on a cold slab in the city morgue because some black a-hole wants more social justice for slavery.
Personally, I have yet to meet an officer who would be less than a perfect gentleman. But, then, stupid me, I follow their instructions and say thank you for giving me a ticket because each and every time I was guilty as sin and, thus, a danger to others and myself. I guess it's that white privilege showing through.

You're ignoring the fact though that in certain European countries, perhaps not Poland, but in Germany, France or England, Jews were often highly assimilated, and in fact DID eat, pray, and yes sleep (through numerous instances of intermarriage) with the "enemy", as evidenced by the fact that for instance, Benjamin Disraeli, as an arch example, born a Jew, converted while still a young statesman to the Church of England, married a gentile, and was buried an Anglican!
That may all be, what I don't get is how you think you are in any way qualified to call german cops "scared"?
Maybe not scared like shaking in their boots but disempowered. That happens when the cops know the consequences when they go after a protected class and frustrated to see a foreign pos go free or get a ridiculous sentence later. We have this sickness in the US, too, when the black scum riots and sets cars on fire. Then, like they did in Baltimore, cops just watch.

Depends where. Within the EU, some police forces are quite open to citizens of other member states joining. It largely depends on how easy or not they're finding recruitment.

You can't be serious. Doctors and nurses help people and that is why people like their doctors and nurses. Cops control, beat, and arrest people. That's, by design, adversarial, if not hostile.
I can almost see this scene: Polish protesters being pushed back by the German cops speaking German between themselves. I am sure that would go very well in Warsaw, especially where the Jewish ghetto used to be.

When you look at a map you will see that Brandenburg shares a long border with Poland. A border which has been for years quite easily to overcome for criminals from both sides. So for years german and polish cops and investigators worked together already....that is nothing new here.
The other reason for that that was stated explicitely was the rising numbers of refugees and immigrants since 2015. Even as the overall crime decreased in Brandenburg the people got more nervous and demanded a stronger police presence. But Brandenburg, like many other Länder, hasn't has the people available to increase the numbers of cops at will and so suddenly.
Asking the same structures which whom they have worked closely together for years seems a logical step.
NOTHING but really NOTHING points to a situation where future german cops will control, beat and arrest Poles in Warsaw!!! It might be much more possible to see future polish cops control, beat and arrest unruly foreigner in Brandenburg...now wouldn't that be cool...

I could get on board with that. Hell I'd probably sign up. Bulgaria use to have a program where civilians were around to arrest and imprison illegal migrants and were paid 80 euro by the government. Unfortunately the eurocrat libtards closed down a good thing. Imagine how much money a couple dudes with a few guns and plastic zip ties would make everyday with thousands of those rats streaming across the border everyday. Plus I'm sure they helped themselves to whatever cash and valuables the migrants had on them. Not like the Bulgarian police are going to care anyway...Keep Europe safe and make some good money while being outdoors with your buddies... What could be better?
