Its true that Germany will want western Poland and that is the problem. Lets look at Silesia (where most of my family currently live), Germans say it theirs but Silesia's are Slavic people are they not? Look at the history and you will see they were mostly part of Bohemia, not Germany. It was only part of Germany/Prussia when they took it through a war with Austria that incorporated it from Bohemia, now some can argue that Germanic tribes lived there before the Slavs, well most of them got incorporated into the culture or left with the migration of that period, not to mention that there was no established country in that area yet.
Poland and Kresy being reunited?
OK, the topic is silly, but let's talk about history:
1) Germany didn't exist before 1871. The predecessor of Germany was the Holy Roman Empire, of which both Bohemia and Silesia were a part since the Middle Ages.
2) Bohemia was a multiethnic country of Czechs and Germans. When Bohemia acquired Silesia the Czechified king of Bohemia (whose family came from West Germany) ruled over Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, Upper + Lower Lusatia and Brandenburg. The majority of this kingdom was German.
3) Lower and Middle Silesia had a German majority since ~1350, the Slavic linguistic enclaves dissapeared in the 17th (Thirty Year's War) and 18th (Prussian centralization) century. In Upper Silesia it was a bit more complicated, but at least with the industrialization it became mostly Polish.
And back to topic: Silesia is Polish, because Poles live there. And the Western Ukraine is Ukrainian, because Ukrainians live there. Period.

Halicz was also Ruthenian before it became Polish, the nobility and townsfolk became Polish over time though.
Perish the thought though, I can't imagine that Germany, this self-flagellatingly repentant country would ever want western Poland back-the horror. The country of Albert Einstein (actually Jewish and not German-and the German nation demonstrated its gratitude to this genius by treating his distant relatives accordingly with German tradition) (: Even if Germany wanted to, it would invade-look at the global fire power index and you will see why. And the Poles can always count on traditional French arrogance and nuclear might to keep Germany in check.
Lviv Oblast would only become Polish if Eastern Ukraine became Russian, and the rest of Ukraine started to descend into chaos, with some desire by the local population to be incorporated to the civillised west against the tide of eastern Russian barbarism, on the basis of a promise made by Poland that at some distant time Lviv Oblast would be once again incorporated into, and be at the vanguard of a free and democratic Ukrainian nation with all its constituent parts intact.

You are engaging in forming of a theory without firm evidence.
Pavlivec

You too, brim fit the hat.

No harm in that - there's all sorts of wild and weird things here, mostly from neo-nationalists and their feeble-minded ilk. This is not however one of those. It is a matter that has been extensively studied.

Indeed.
Albert Einstein (actually Jewish and not German...)
So all Jewish Nobel laureates who were born in the USA are actually not Americans? Interesting "theory" you have there...

These numbers are based on church books about the Peter's Pence, which only the Poles/Slavs in Silesia had to pay, while the Germans were excluded.

No the point i am making is that the Germans did not consider the Jews to be German, that's all.
Silesia is Polish, because Poles live there. And the Western Ukraine is Ukrainian, because Ukrainians live there. Period.
Interesting to bring up Jews...now lets use this logic and determine if the Jews followed it or not
I think that Poland should get back her lands.
That was your thinking in 2010. Do you still hold that view? I haven`t heard you express it for a long time now.
And back to topic: Silesia is Polish, because Poles live there.
So, Akcija "Wisla" converted Polish Kresy Wschodnie into Ukrainian Western Ukraine. Why similar deportation of polish population from Silezia cannot make it German land again?
Infiltration of Albanians into Serbian motherland (Kosovo) suddenly make it independent sh*thole, gravitating to Albania. Nearly the same story, of course.

Did you mean this or the opposite order?
