i mean what the chances are to successful prosecute him through tribunal

Clearly they are high enough for him to want to hide behind immunity, because he is hiding behind immunity, just like his boss Duda.

hiding behind immunity

do you know whats immunity is for?
one reason is -to protect people from mad dickheads who are tiring to misuse their position of power to harm them.

do you know whats immunity is for?

It isn't for anything, other than allowing corrupt politicians to hide behind their parliamentary position.

Why would a party that is supposedly anti-corruption hide behind immunity? It makes no sense whatsoever.

he protects himself from mad people who are currently in power...
thats was "immunity" idea.to protect opposition from power wielding people from attacking them.
Ziobro is innocent.and 60 prosecutions found him innocent.

60 prosecutions found him innocent.

You're very simply not telling the truth again, are you. Or would you like to give us details about those 60 prosecutions?

you lie Harry.
September 3 of that year Zbigniew Ziobro waived immunity [10 ] . 4 November 2009 investigation against him , however, was discontinued due to lack of evidence justifying a criminal offense
pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zbigniew_Ziobro

about those 60 prosecutions...am merely quoting what mularczyk said:
wpolityce.pl/polityka/266541-posel-po-oskarza-kolegow-o-lenistwo-ws-postawienia-ziobry-przed-ts-jest-kilku-poslow-ktorzy-zegnaja-sie-z-polityka-i-nie-chodza-na-glosowania

"This case is part of the campaign against Zbigniew Ziobro . There were 60 criminal cases, two committees of inquiry and nothing. Any judgment. Therefore, when you decided to overrule that Ziobro is guilty"

There were 60 criminal cases

He says that 60 (suspected) criminal cases were investigated. You said there were 60 prosecutions. Would you like to give us details about those 60 prosecutions or would you prefer to admit that you have simply been caught making things up?

He says that 60 (suspected) criminal cases were investigated

no..its not what he said..you lie again.
hes precise words:
"Było 60 postępowań karnych"-means criminal prosecutions,not criminal (suspected)investigations
postepowanie karne-prosecutions
dochodzenie - investigation

"Było 60 postępowań karnych"-means criminal prosecutions

No, you're simply making things up, yet again: postępowań karnych are criminal proceedings, not prosecutions. But do feel most welcome to tell us about those prosecutions, perhaps you could tell us what charges the prosecutor brought during those prosecutions?

they not investigations neither.

Actually, they are. That's how the Polish system works: on receipt of a notification of the suspicion of the committing of a crime, criminal proceedings are opened and the allegation is investigated. If nothing is found, the proceedings go no further.

man,you are worse that bedbug

Should we conclude from the way that you resort to insults that you know your attempt to slip a lie past us has failed? Or would you like to tell us what charges the prosecutor brought in the 60 prosecutions you claim were brought?

Is your repeated resorting to insults another sign that you have realised your attempt to slip a falsehood into the discussion has failed?

whatever he was prosecuted or didnt get to prosecution due to investigation closed

You claimed he has been subjected to 60 prosecutions. Please tell us what charges the prosecutor brought in those 60 prosecutions.

Please tell us what charges the prosecutor brought in those 60 prosecutions.

Charges have to be brought by the prosecutor in order for a prosecution to take place. So, tell us what charges the prosecutor brought in the 60 prosecutions you claim took place.

harges have to be brought by the prosecutor in order for a prosecution to take place.

Exactly Harry you made point for gregy, charges didn't even went pass prosecutor office, meaning even in the legal system where prosecutors are sympathetic towards PO to say the least there were nothing to proceed with.

Cause there is nothing.
All that State Tribunal farce is yet another desperate political gamble before election.

Surely they can't proceed as he has immunity.

(By the way, it was PiS that attempted to control the prosecutors. Do stop mistaking PO for PiS)

it was PiS

Although, as PM, shifty-eyed Don rarely said anything intelligent, sensible, impartial or quotable, there are always exceptions to prove the rule. After the motion to prosecute Ziobro had been filed, "Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the most influential figure in the ruling party, spoke against it, saying such a step could tarnish Poland's image. Ruling parties shouldn't act using criminal law against leaders of the opposition 'even if you're 100% convinced they did bad things in the past', Mr. Tusk told reporters in Brussels."

Talking about while back when he waved away his immunity.

I don't like Ziboro, I don't like that much PiS, they are too center-left for me, but there is nothing else so far, unfortunately. PO is just bunch of crooks and opportunists without any ideology or anything going for them, they are vultures! Hand in hand with oligarchs and behind the curtain the ex-soviet secret police cabal.

(By the way, it was PiS that attempted to control the prosecutors. Do stop mistaking PO for PiS)

That was something entirely different, the idea that a state prosecutors should be controlled by the state.
I'm talking about something else, connection based on personal ties - patronage (clientela).

And an absolutely dreadful idea. Ziobro really showed his real intentions with his moves there. It was probably the hallmark of Communism that prosecutors and judges were under state control, just like PiS attempted.

I'm talking about something else, connection based on personal ties - patronage (clientela).

Something common to most parties in Europe, sadly.
