I just learned via my very good Sarmatian connections, that Hungarian Orban had telephone conversation with Trump. Orban is called to come to USA. He said to Trump that he for long time didn`t come to USA because he got treatment as `black sheep` there. On that Trump told him: ``Me, too.``

See, if Hungary can stop to be `black sheep` for USA, after all if Trump can, Poland can, too.

After Slavic (Polish) Pope, Poland would be eventually visited by Slavic (Slovenian) USA first lady Melania Trump.

Crow I don't know how old you were when these events were happening, but the reality is that Croatia and Slovenia wanted to get away from a Serb run commie state because they could see their neighbours like Poland and Hungary already on a path to freedom and prosperity in the EU. Germany, only recently reunited, was simple acknowledging reality of the changes in Central Europe.

And at least in a material sense they made a wise choice - Slovenia has gdp per head 4x that of Serbia. Croatia is twice as richas Serbia.

I remember back in the early 90s talking with a Croat who said that his family was fine with Jugoslavija until Milosevic started ranting about Greater Serbia (which included Split where they lived). They didn't mind being in a federated state with Serbia but directly under Zagreb but absolutely did not want to be governed directly from Belgrade.....

And once he let the nationalist genie out of the bottle the only end state was going to be six separate countries.

I don't wish Trump on Poland!

Judging by last Trump`s and Tusk`s statements, directions and priorities of USA and Poland`s politics starting to differ. Seriously. Even to antagonize. So, if in its foreign politics rely too much on major EU powers such are Britain, France and Germany, Poland may found itself in unpleasant situation. Very unpleasant.

And if I may say, all that absolutely unnecessary.

Do you realize that Tusk no longer speaks for the Polish government?

Seams that Trump saving Europeans from western European domination. Like in WWII, no matter opposing to each other, USA and Russia works together, while many even aren`t aware of it.

Trump does not care for Europe, full stop. Today it is Western Europe who is disappointed by him, tomorrow it will be Central and Eastern Europe's turn.

He wanted to build a wall up to 4.5 metres high, along a protected stretch of beautiful Irish coastline to protect his precious golf course from flooding. He shouldn't have put a golf course there in the first place, the ignorant chump. He recently abandoned his plans for the wall citing EU bureaucracy as the reason and claiming that the EU was hindering Irish development. The actual truth is that the local planning committee in Co Clare refused his application. No doubt he thought that because he's Donald Trump he could throw his weight around in the same manner he would do State Side. I'm sure he was quite surprised to be told 'no'.

The man is completely unsuited to political office but he's just another in a long line of similar characters who dominate American politics. I can't see how his election is of any benefit to Poland.

Where does it say anything about Europe in that phrase? Europeans (especially Westeners) have to grow a nutsack and put themselves first. No one is gonna come to Europes rescue.

At the least Trump won't preach/pressure or forcefeed diversity/multiculturalism which is the #1 issue in Europe today. No more Obama roaming the globe preaching about how racist White people are.

Todays political climate is obvious: look inward. Look after your own. No one is gonna come pick up your Muslim refugees LOL. And Poland needs to find an adult solution to Russia. Depending on Black-Americans to "protect us" is one of the most embarrassing Polish actions of the past 100 years.

Trump is wise. He knows that would Russia unleash its wrath on western Europe so he prepare ground for USA`s withdrawal from the path of collision.

No maybe the US does not have to come to our rescue. But do we have to buy your overpriced f16s ? We could always cancel a few orders and see how that goes down in Indiana or wherever they make the parts. And do we have to supply empty airfields for the US to beat up and torture terrorists ? Or will you do that in Kentucky now ? Is it worth protecting free and rich markets for Marlboro, Ford, KFC and Amazon or is a peaceful Europe expendable ? Or maybe you like some of the nice things Europeans make - not just cheese and chocolate but many useful things that Americans like to buy.

Life is not as simple as you think

Primary sanity suggest that would western Europe suffer because provoking Russia. And not that USA won`t be against Russia but, rather, USA would seek to profit on it. Really, what western Europe of these days have in common with USA. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Western Europe sponsoring Islam and Nazism. See, its all disgusting to US. Very disgusting.

Trump said that Merkel did a bad decision by invinting millions of muslims. He was right about that yet no media was talking about it.

Trump may say stupid stuff at times or in a hurry or without thinking but overall he has very good insights,intuition.
Thats why he won. He applied the ideas of his own book called "Think Big".

Trump wants Europe to take their own responsability and he is right.
As for the situation in Poland : polish people would to rely more into their own army and maybe prepare for making lot of babies to have soldiers :).

Europe in general is having les and less young so how can we maintain an army if people make lot less babies ?
Europe should really focus on themselves, stop mass immigration , make baby boom happens for europeans.

Wincig, Crow's too set in his ways to even desire to improve. Like others of his ilk, he feels he has nothing to improve upon and that we non-Slavic outsiders, interlopers, should be eternally grateful to them for knowing at least a little English, as we surely cannot know THEIR language:-)
