So, I think it is the high time to start procedure of departure from the EU for Poland and Hungary.
Hungary Veto on Poland Sanctions may not happen
High time I agree. Prospects for Poland and other Visegrad countries are terrifying.
But hurry. If they form EU army (what they urgently need for next step- annexation of Northern Africa), soon there will be EU federation. Once they have Poland in state of EU, Slavic Poland is finished.
Between leaving the EU immediately and staying in EU, there is third option for Poland. Move closer to Serbia. If Serbia enter EU form group of Visegrad plus Serbia (maybe plus some more) within EU and push for your (group) specific agenda. That way prolong membership in EU and prepare yourself for retreat (Serbia within group guaranties that western Europe won`t be able to prevent leaving the EU when the time is right).

Crow idk how much more i can stress this, poles really dgaf about serbia and making way better relations. Obviously poles care more about serbia than say countries like uzbekistan or costa rica, but i can list at least 10 15 countries if not more that poland cares about more than serbia. Dont get me wrong id love poland to have better relations with the slavic world but it is what it is. The main things that prevent poland from not being closer with serbia is its not a eu or nato country, it doesnt border serbia, serbia is close to russia which poles have a huge fear of and quite frankly there really isnt much in terms of economics or even politics that serbia can offer poland.

The Polish vote on Hungary breaks down as follows:
22 votes in favour of Article 7
23 votes against
5 Abstensions and one person didn't vote at all.
So the margin of Polish support for Hungary is very small indeed.
Other accession states voted as follows:
Finland, in favour
Latvia, in favour
Lithuania, in favour
Romania, in favour
Estonia, in favour, only one vote against
Croatia, evenly split
Bulgaria, against
Slovakia, against
Slovenia, against by one vote
Czech Republic, against by one vote

That's complete nonsense. No one in Poland has ever started to talk about such a procedure except perhaps for a few morons who do not count in Polish politics. Our Great and Dearest Leader Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński is himself against any Polexit and has never given a slightest hint about leaving the EU
But you don't live in Poland, so you don't know and you don't feel the pulse of this country.
But you don't live in Poland, so you don't know and you don't feel the pulse of this country.
Aren't you a little yipping b'itch?
That's complete nonsense.
Not at all. That is a desirable course of action. A wise move either as a plan to leave the EU or to see what will the EU say - if they would ask Poland to stay or not.
JK and his ideas. I don't care about it in the slightest. the only value PiS has it the fact they keep PO and other post-commie scum away from the rudder.
o the margin of Polish support for Hungary is very small indeed.
Rubbish. PO scum is skewing the numbers, Polish society attitude in this regard is to support Hungary. So as you see PO doesn't represent Poland.
I think it is the high time to start procedure of departure from the EU for Poland
No one is going to start such a procedure in the forseeable future in Poland. No one, I tell you. Only nationalists like you or Dirk or Snotty may dream about it. But they are going to dream in vain.
Aren't you a little yipping b'itch?
Aren't you the one for whom Rich Mazur is a role model on this forum?
No one is going to start such a procedure in the forseeable future in Poland. No one,
It only testament to amateurish and irrational nature of Polish politicians. In the present circumstances that move would be very wise indeed.
Only nationalists like you or Dirk or Snotty
Two of whom don't live in Poland (and I wouldn't be surprised if snotty doesn't either).
I have my criticisms of the EU but there is no will to seriously think about leaving it yet (not any real need)...... and compared with the CCCP the EU is kind of a chickensh1t operation and would be a lot easier to get shut of.
Two of whom don't live in Poland (and I wouldn't be surprised if snotty doesn't either).
To you and whoever whish to read it. I can understand why Ziem have issue with it. He would like it to be a sole voice speaking for Poland on this forum without anyone changeling him. I don't get you or others. I mean it would be nice if a forum named Polish would have more than one poster who is actually Polish, don't you think?
Right now there are only two posters posting semi-regularly here that are in fact Polish. That would be me and Ziem. G(undercover) and Snotty post here very seldom. Dirk is Americanized to a degree that makes his views very atypical of what generally Polish people think or the way they think.
So, what is your point maf? should I find myself other forum - as this is the only forum I post in? If you think so - could you give me a rationale for it? If not - why would be harping so much on a fact that allegedly I don't live in Poland?
Only nationalists
There is nothing wrong with Polish nationalism Ziem. Not a thing! If you think there is there is something wrong with you.
should I find myself other forum
post wherever you want, just don't expect everyone to agree all the time
you post with an aggressive attitude (which is fine) but then get a burr up your bvtt anytime someone disagrees.
no I don't. 90% of the time people don't even address my point but act like butthurt princesses like Ziem above .... Never did I write that Poland will do such and such ... I said it should as it would be a logical and wise move ....
Interesting result of a poll conducted by Pulsuz on the Hungarian public's reaction (those ages 18-49 years old) to the triggering of Article 7, 56% of repsondents said yes it was fair, only 24% said no, it was unfair. The rest were unsure. Most people felt that the actions of the European Parliament were directed at the Hungarian government and not at the country itself.

No one is going to start such a procedure in the forseeable future in Poland. No one, I tell you.
When did I say that Poland should leave right away? I said that if the EU keeps sticking their nose in Polish domestic affairs and punishing countries for voting in nationalist and populist leaders based on campaign promises who often enact the exact same things as pro-EU countries like Spain or Germany but face no repercussions because they're close to the EU. The EC has become a political tool and only punishes countries that go against the EU socialist line. And if they refuse, fine Poland should stick around as get as much money as it possibly can then split.
Besides, much will change during the EP elections when nationalists win even more seats. Europeans are not happy with where people like Merkel and other eurocrats like Juncker, Verhofstadt. Macron, etc. are leading the continent.
And besides Article 7 isn't going to pass. Not in Hungary, not in Poland.
I mean it would be nice if a forum named Polish would have more than one poster who is actually Polish, don't you think?
Most people here either aren't Polish, don't have Polish citizenship, don't live in Poland or rarely ever go there and almost no one can even speak Polish. Yet they claim to understand Polish society lol when they can't even communicate with the majority of Poles. Kind of sad for a 'Polish forum' Maybe if we had a good chunk of the website in Polish there'd be more actual Poles here.
Most people on here aren't Polish because most real Poles are far too busy trying to earn a living, spend time with their families and just getting on with life. Most Poles I know are so cynical about politics that they don't even follow it anymore.

Wait 5-6 years and see what happens when people hear we're going to be net payers in the whole thing soon. You had the first signs with "refugees".
Like it or not but most Poles wouldn't bother to pick up the EU's flag If it was in the mood on the ground. It's just some blue thing.

Exactly. Poles are pro eu... for now... then again things have changed drastically in the eu. If the eu keeps meddling in poland and then a bunch of polish taxpayers money is going to go helping the millions of third worlders that came into europe amd giving it to Albania macedonia etc i bet more poles woll want to remain.
N also a slight majority of polish citizens support right wing parties. Short of thr few pensioner beret ladies with TY shirts and the nationalist hools,.nop, rn etc yes most poles dont care about day to day politics esp if it doesnt affect their day to day life. That doesnt mean though that poles dont care about their roots, rhe issues in europe and what happens in their country. Its like with christianity. More and more poles may not go yo church everybweekend but theyre still overwhelmingly identifying as catholic and keep the traditions
