Tusk is worm actualy
Is Poland the only high minded country of Cental and Eastern European countries?
I was talking to one of my medical students today. She is a lovely girl and highly perceptive. She was formerly a Catholic but has renounced her faith in favour of atheism. We talked about many things, not least about how morality is going astray in the youth of Poland today. We also felt it that those who wanted to be moral often go too far and become prudish and overly sensitive about such issues. She also told me about a confession of hers through a priest and how the priest told her 5 friends the same thing. It's in her nature to question, like mine. I cannot give money to an institution like the church. Jesus was crucified and imputed God's Grace into us, not this holier-than-thou infusion that we see too often.

If you refer to the adjective "high-minded" as 'having or showing very high esp. moral standards, perhaps too high' in your last post, I should only add that by 'high moral standards' we should refer not only to religious standards, but moral standards universal to mankind. These are actually embedded in every monoteistic religion on this planet, and there are many of those who do not observe them in either of these religions. Likewise, if someone is an atheist, she or he may also follow such universal moral standards, without giving any money to a church.

That's true, I can't disagree with that :)
I'm delighted by this! By the way, couldn't you disagree with Crow that Tusk is a worm? (By the way, Crow is another fellow who shows his disregard not only of Prime Minister Tusk, but also for indefinite articles in English.)

Tusk should be arrested and interogated.
As for English, i rather using Slavicized English (its less mute). Everybody here are aware of it

I cannot say I am not aware of it. Undoubtedly, using slavicized English is your "plus" (one of the many) ...
Everybody here IS aware of it :) Poland has some high-minded people, whatever that means ;) ;) ;)
slavicized English
i look forward to improve my slavicized English

Listen, from time to time in history, Turks/Muslims decapitate few Poles, just to prevent that Poland has too many high-minded people. In fact, that`s how Turks comprehend term `high-minded Poles`. For Turks it mean `highly-decapitated Poles`
Among others, its old story about Wladislaw Warnenchik and Zawisha Czarny. Their heads still missing. That`s Turkish way to absorb high-mind.
Isn`t today`s Poland in alliance with Turkey? See
The very fact that Poland is 95% Roman Catholic but only 55-60% practise says sth in itself.
The second number has been going down streadily, it seems. Today it is about 40%

To what extent is Poland any more "high" or low-minded than any other Central and Eastern European country?
I remain unconvinced.
