Poland 2050? What will happen?

Au contraire, Germany would have been parititioned by Poland and France never to re-emerge again. Re-armament would have been prevented and Polish and French gendarmes would patrol the streets against crime. Poland and France, as the two countries that suffered the most destruction on their soil, would have been able to extract severe reparations to pay for all the damage. The German language would be permitted in public only for Sunday Gottesdienst. Otherwise the official languages would be French in the western half and Polish in the eastern half. To entrench the territorial change, added territory at Germany's expense could be ceded to Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Holland and Denmark.

Wishful thinking! (You Poles love the realm of happy fantasies) ;)

As we now know the french army was badly led and totally uninspired. They only dared to go into the Rhineland for some kilometers even without any german army at all...before they got out running.

Poland would have do anything alone.
When you really think polish troops could invade Germany and Germany would roll over just like that because it's you - think again!

Even IF you would had come to Berlin, Germany is so much bigger than only the way between Warsaw and Berlin. It was still a huge country at that time...you neither had the men nor the material to occupy a meaningful part of the country to really enforce anti-nazism or stop re-armament.

Quite to the contrary your agression would make Hitler and the Nazis to freedom fighters and martyrs!
In the worst case you would have to put all men on occupation duty...what would leave your eastern side totally open for any russian plans (which were german allies at that time with many german troops training there secretly).

In the end Poland would vanish from the map again, this time for good! (And totally deserved)

I honestly don't think that would be at all possible!

To entrench the territorial change, added territory at Germany's expense could be ceded to Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Holland and Denmark.

That would have been an good idea

IF Poland had used more cash on making more rifles and bullets sure it could. It was estimated that Poland could have an army of up to 4 million men if FULLY mobilized.

BB Poland HAD the stuff and everything to occupy Germany in 1933-1934 but you pointed out right with Soviet Union east of Poland. French support in only giving Poland supplies for everything in that plan was ESSENTIAL. That's why it never came to life

Ahh thoose Frenchmen are soooo kewl...

IF Poland had used more cash on making more rifles and bullets sure it could.

Well...there still would have been only so many Poles to actually use them! ;)

It was estimated that Poland could have an army of up to 4 million men if FULLY mobilized.

Germans have easily more...not even fully mobilized...

Poland HAD the stuff and everything to occupy Germany in 1933-1934

No they hadn't...why do you think Holland and other smaller neighbours never tried such a thing? Only Poles (and an Norwegian) are that overestimating ones powers.

;)

Ahh thoose Frenchmen are soooo kewl...

Heh:)

Maybe, but they are quite useless allies...

Yeah but there was a lot of restrictions for Germany! Wehrmacht in 1939 had some experiences and training behind them, but in 1934? Come on :)

Maybe, but they are quite useless allies...

Like their navy was insignificent... They weren't much helpfull! But usefall for production or good wine/food? :)

I think you were thinking more about Italy? ;)

Yeah but there was a lot of restrictions for Germany!

I really believe we would forget about these restriction in case of a foreign agression...we might even have get support from german-friendly states :)

But usefall for production or good wine/food? :)
I think you were thinking more about Italy? ;)

Both have nice food and women...and both not so reliable on the front though...

Similar thread would be "World 2050?" , we're all heading toward the end, slowly but surely.

I think there will be a mixed race. when I was in Poland I saw muslims and Blacks in the big cities and Warsaw. since everyone is comming in I see alot of mixtures I think there will be hardley any pure race anymore in the future of Europe and I am sure Poland will get more technologically advanced.

muslims and Blacks in the big cities and Warsaw.

Poland should be careful about the people it allows in.

Diversity should be limited.

The last time Poland allowed a whole bunch of diverse groups into Poland, they became fifth columns and helped foreign powers partition Poland. Diversifying and Balkanizing a European nation never ends up with any good results for that nation.

Diversity always leads to Divisiveness for a nation. Its a big Left-wing Lie that Diversity is the "strength" of a nation. At least when its pushed for Politically Correct purposes.

The Wall Street Journal had an article that said in the US (which is suppose to accept diversity) the cities with the most diverse populations were the cities with the most tension and anxiety between neighbors. I can't see why anyone would want that.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 11831
8 Oct 2010 /  #42
Nobody wants that!

But the old way of the Europeans has been wandering, mingling and mixing...we are the european race with celtic, slavic and germanic parts.
There is nothing wrong with going back to the roots again!

Where I draw the line is non-european immigration which don't fit into the european cultural heritage and don't even show any interest to fit in.

So, diversity isn't diversity (I'm sure the same holds true between european Americans and non-european Americans)

Of course, poltical developments can rarely be fully foreseen, as there are always unexpected twists and surprises. But a joint attack on Germany in 1933 by France and Poland at a time when Herr Hitler had his trousers down, re-armament was just beginning and there was Nazi v Communist turmoil throughout the country could just have worked.

The reds and brownshirts could be played off against each other thereby making the job all the easier.
Just think of all the lives that could have been saved in Europe, and Berlin, Warsaw, Hamburg, Gdańsk, Dresden, Wrocław, etc. could have been spared.

Post-war Germany did not rebel against the four occupation zones (except for the anti-GDR riots in the '50s). I doubt if a Franco-Polish occupied post-WW1 Germany would have risen up.

Post-war Germany did not rebel against the four occupation zones (except for the anti-GDR riots in the '50s).

Because they didn't felt occupied and since the Marshall plan and the american rescue of West-Berlin with the Luftbrücke felt more like comrades and friends against the (old and new) cold war enemy....

I don't see a similiar situation evolving in a fictive French-Polish occupation!
(Rather alot more street fighting and polish-style uprisings against opression and forced polonization and what would Poland do then?)

How do you envision polish occupation anyhow? Would you pump money and investments and materials into Germany to keep in from impoverishment? Would you? Could you???

Invading is the easiest part...it's the peace you would loose!

So, diversity isn't diversity (I'm sure the same holds true between european Americans and non-european Americans)

That's true.

That's the key. Diversity between various groups of people is only successful when they all put loyalty FIRST to the country they live in an not the other way around, ie to their ethnic/national roots. In my opinion, hundreds of years ago when Europeans (including Jews) were ultra-nationalistic and ethno-centric, when they lived in Poland they were loyal first to their own ethnic tribe and then second to Poland. That's part of the reason why Poland was partioned. Poland was dying from the inside, like a body dies from a disease. Which made it easier for outside countries to divide it up.

We see that "put loyalty to my ethnic tribe first" mentality here in the US with recent illegal immigrants in the US which is bad. That "my ethnic tribe first" mentality will only lead to the Balkanization of the US as it did to Poland during the partitions.

Today it does appear that the more different people are from one another, the harder for them to "mix" or get along with one another. I think that's just human nature.

Well you know there is that old "Christian" guy on youtube saying that the end of the world will be on May 11, 2011 or something like that. ;)

Exactly!

I just recently read the same observation...the globalization did NOT lead to a mixing, to even out all differences (all the same grey people) but contrary to a heightened consciousness of ones own differences to make your own people, country, products stand out and to keep (gain) advantages in the global competition!

Interesting...and quite logically. To advertise your own national brand in the global market you NEED to show what makes you different and better than your co-competitors!

Poland will be a district within the European sector of a one-world government called 'The Confederation of Global States'. Sorry, no source; just a hunch.

:)

I think there will be a mixed race. when I was in Poland I saw muslims and Blacks in the big cities and Warsaw.

Actually, This is the Openly-Stated Agenda for Europe:

In response to that video of the Jewish lady saying that "multi-culturalism is a must for Europe", with all due respect to her and liberal Jews who think like her, who the heck are they to past judgement on what's good for Europe?

These liberal Jews should be careful for what they wish for. Both in the US and in Europe, most people of European ancestry have been educated in the Holocaust and even if some of them may not like Jews, they are generally sensitive to Jewish concerns.

People of NON-European ancestry generally don't care about the Holocaust or suffering of Jews since they think that was a "white man's thing" and doesn't apply to them.

The ADL has put out reports that in the US, NON-Europeans are twice as anti-semitic as people of European ancestry.

Mexican nationalist groups don't care about the Holocaust and see Jews not as oppressed people but as OPPRESSORS. Not to mention what Black nationalist Louis Farahkahn says about Jews.

And forget about what Muslim/Non-Europeans in Europe think about Jews LOL

So if Liberal Jews want more NON-Europeans in Europe and the US.......a word of caution.......be careful what you wish for.

By 2050 Ukraine will be a polish toxic dump and ukrainians will be processed into fertilizer.
Nathan  18 | 1349
11 Apr 2011 /  #57
And what would be that toxicity? Poland once tried to do that and left a lot of its brave toxic soldiers to rot on our lands. Ukrainians are not good for fertilizers - we have stupid armies across the border to help us out with manuring the soil.

In 2050 the us white population will be the majority minority meaning whites will be the largest group but the Latino/black/foreign population will be over 50%.

I predict poland will remain homogenous with a gradual mayb up to 10% 15% population of foreigners many from s Asian and se Asia. A lot of bangladeshis, indians, vietnamese, etc are coming to poland.

As long as polish people remain in power and are able to themselves control their countries Destiny all is well.

In 2050 Polska nie zginie and that's what's most important

A lot of bangladeshis, indians

Very few of those stay longer than a year or two, and precious few settle. The richer countries to the west are too much of a draw for them to view Poland as anything else but a stepping stone.
