German government tells journalists how to badmouth Poland

Rather than directly criticise Polish affairs, German government officials brief journalists on how to portray Poland. Recommendations include "wild east", "Putin-style rule", "dismantling of the rule of law", etc. That way the government cannot be accused of meddling in another country's affairs and has the alibi of saying "in a free country such as ours the media are free to write whatever they want". The situaiton is simialr to the GDR era, when journalsits were told what to write on any given subject.

Article is nonsense, not a single quote from a single person involved.
Lies, lies, lies.
The article is based on another article from Super Express!
Lolz!

You can do better Polo

Read the link or use Google Translate. It's all in there. We are required to give the gist of a non-English text, not transalte the whole thing.

But just between you and me, doesn't it sound like something the ex-GDR kraut lady woul do?

And reproduced in the PiS controlled 'TV Republika' website!

Does anyone actually believe that crap...

believe that crap

Would you put it past the GDR-weaned kraut leadership?
jon357  73 | 23131

WTF?

I certainly wouldn't put anything past either Super Express (a trashy tabloid if ever there was one) or a PiS mouthpiece like TV Republika which probably thinks journalistic integrity is a type of Novena.

Yeah, said pretender to the throne.

In Super Ekpres etc? Not that many facts there and no reason this should be.

Well this is Putin-style rule. I don't know how this works in Russian Federation but PiS is being hold back by Constitutional Tribunal and EU however they would very much like to implement even more authoritarian rule in the style of Lukashenko if they could.

I can't understand these over the top reactions if any German criticizes Poland. So what? The Brits do it, the French, too. There's a name for this: critical journalism. And I've never heard such a weird conspiration theory. Why shouldn't Germany criticize Poland directly? That's nonesense, it's just something called free media and no grand conspiration by the Germans to overthrow Poland or any **** like that. And Germany criticized Poland more than one time in recent history (Steinbach).

Read the link

I did ya ninny, why would I comment on something if I haven't read it?
Not a single quote, the 'article' is simply lifted from a nonsense tabloid 'newspaper'

Pull the other one Polo, try harder with your trolling next time :)

It's because some Poles especially older ones and nationalists hate germans for WWII.

Ask Germans where are war reparations for the deaths and destruction they inflicted on Poland

Dear Mr gumishu,
I assume the expulsion of 12 million people isn't the kind of reparation you had in mind? ;)

Better in fact to understand a bit of history since all this was signed off by the governments of the two (now friendly) countries decades ago.

Not a thing but it such a critique is organized by the German government it is good to be aware of the fact.

I assume the expulsion of 12 million people

Boohoo!

"Paid as per the instructions of the Polish government" you gota be joking , there was no marshal plan for Poland Unlike Germany, but who cares Poland is now thriving and "Getting there" faster than east Germany where billions of euros have been pumped in by the west German economy (Which benefited from the plan).

never mind Harold Poland is doing ok however hard you try to badmouth us on a daily basis.. you need to work harder to make some cash to move to a country where you are better suited, maybe the UK if they will have you back if you can afford the plane fare.

Poland is doing ok

Yes, I know, I've been here for the last couple of decades and have gained a knowledge of the country good enough that, to give just one example, when I go to one of the two best cities in Poland for beer, I can get a pint of IPA. It's so unfortunate that some pseudo-Poles can't say the same.

But then again, German journalists who come to Warsaw are infinitely more likely to end up speaking to me than to such pseudo-Poles, so I can give them the real picture of this wonderful country.

Harry, old lad, not only tell the Niemcy, [old Poland stage name for devils], but tell the world, [new banksters name for hell], about what you think of "this wonderful country." Why do they talk to you? Are they drunk? What do you tell them? That you will not buy them another drink!

"A couple of decades", _ 10 x 2 = 20 years? You must have enough matter to write, 'My Kampf'.
Start a 'thread' about your lot in life, give examples and good enough proof .
Now, continue.........

Herry "last couple of decades and have gained a knowledge of the country " Remember as the old saying goes ....

"Just because you live in a barn it does not make you a horse".

You would do well to move over to Germany it appears they are looking for people like you to badmouth Poland, I for one think you have set an excellent example of this here on PF, I am sure many here would give you written references to help get that dream job.

I wonder why none of the above posts do as the mod instructed. Could it be that it's clear to all that this 'story' was entirely made up as a bit 'German bashing' designed to distract the idiotic from the terrible job the 18% regime is doing (for everybody except loyal Party members and their faithful collaborators) and that it's so clear the topic needs no further discussion? I wonder.

I wonder.

No need to wonder at all. All the posters you named above have enormously contributed to this thread by pointing out that what the German government does at the moment to make journalists to badmouth Poland has been exercised by you here on the PF for years.

18% regime

The 18% regime has its hand full cleaning up the mess and undoing the legislative duds left behind by the 11% Platfus mob. The voters issued their verdict -- a red card -- last October.

voters issued their verdict last October.

...But the losers lacked the class to graciously accept their defeat and just kept on electioneering, antagonising and destabilising the political stage and this time dragging Poland's internal affairs into the international forum. It's a rerun of 2005 when they went into shock over their double defeat. That's when they first started sabotaging, undermining and badmouthing, resentlful that the voters were wrong.... When they finally made it, they gave people warm tap-water and 8 years of scams and unfulfilled promises. Some people never learn.

Fun summer ahead

Indeed, the New Year's Düsseldorf Show was only a trailer compared to what will go on in warm-weather Deutschland when the scantily clad Fräuleins come out to tkae the sun and display their "wares" in front of leering, salivating, unrestrained young camel jockeys.

Es lebt (long live) Multi-Kulti!

what the German government does at the moment to make journalists to badmouth Poland

What does the German government do to make journalists to badmouth Poland? Nothing. If they did, we'd be reading about it in real news sources and not just the kind of sources which write about attack dogs that don't exist and the EU having plans to forcibly micro-chip all new-born babies.

make journalists to badmouth Polan

They hold briefings. That way Frau Kanclerin is off the hook and can point to "respected German newspapers" as badmouthing Poland. Very convrnient set-up!
