So 1984...

Indeed. I really wonder who they are - I've been here for ages now, yet as far as I can see, there's no such thing. I'm sure there are Russian and American spies here, and probably a few Chinese and some Germans - but that's normal in the world of international relations and hardly "the enemy within".

Even the deluded Kaczynski supporters are hardly "enemies" - just deluded people.

Who said is the enemy and I know who probobly said it mr kczynski, he is the only enemy trying to build the legend of he's retarded brother they're both retrded and never cared about anybody but themselves. What is they're i they're and is no one alse everybody has to knee before them from the tone of the voice itself. If they had majority in parlament after 2005 they would proclaimed themselves kings. 2/3 of nation vommited afterwards. Equeling someone to Pilsudski (who united the nation after WWI and won a war with USSR in 1920) Mickiewicz all Polish kings in history is spitting into entire nations face.

My tribute to 10th of april :))

Your cunning use of reverse psychological probing has worked.

I admit it! it's me.

I remember the neighbourhood parties that weekend. Were the nurses across the hallway and the old lady in the kiosk 'enemies within'?

Isn't it a bit disturbing to 'celebrate' a tragedy in which mothers, fathers, friends, sons etc lost their lives?

It certainly can not be described as healthy.

Why don't you look in the mirror? LOL

Delph, you wondering about what the Enemy Within a country is, is like a fish wondering what water is.

The guys who will do anything to get power - PiS.

Why? To get it, they are ready to set fire to the country, claiming they are the only firefighters available at the time.

Why don't you look in the mirror?

Hmm - I pay taxes, use local facilities, use Polish products (in fact - I usually fill my car up at Orlen and not BP), don't get into trouble with the police (except that one time when I was caught speeding), employ some people, volunteer here and do my best to make this a more pleasant place to live. Okay, so I did spoil my ballot in the 2nd round of the Poznan mayoral election - and I am rather merciless about enforcing contracts and threatening legal action towards people who don't pay invoices - but hey, you'll forgive me, right?

Heck, I even spend money in the Polish mountains and not the Czech/Slovak/Ukrainian ones.

And what do you do for Poland?

Could it be that it's not the enemy within that we have to worry about, but rather external enemies of Poland who are pretending to be friends?

The enemy could be people willing to sell out and exploit natural resources like natural gas. It is much better to hold out and get a good price. Keep the money at home so not to end up like West Virginia.

Yeah sure and I'm the Easter Bunny LOL

Even if you did all those things that still means nothing when you bash Polish people while conspicuously defending certain other countries. I would say your coments about Polish people are "Polacks" are "subhuman" and that you "only wish hatred against Poland was true" nullifies any so call good deed you have done for Poland.

Here in the US, the enemy within (they don't publicly call themselves that of course LOL) has basically said the same as you. They go through the motions of being American while attacking the nation they live within.

a tragedy in which mothers, fathers, friends, sons etc lost their lives?

This sadly happens often and everywhere. A few months before the plane crash several families in a homeless hostel burnt to death - I don't remember demonstrations on Krakowskie Przedmiescie or televised funerals for them. All the fuss about Smoleńsk isn't because of those other passengers, is it? It's all about one of them. Who was very much the "enemy within".

As a rule of thumb, the Enemy Within a country are the people who live within it who spend most of their time finding fault with the nation, especially its history.

The Enemy Within of Poland is always quick to give the benefit of the doubt to critics of Poland and any kind of criticism of Poland and its institutions.

Enemy within are those greedy elements in society who want nothing to ever improve, are happy living in deplorable conditions, mock any attempt at the overall progress of their nation.

When the beczkowy money was introduced (a small payment to help young families when they have a new baby) I was pleased and said so to a friend in PL. His reaction was "but who's going to pay for it". He's a multimillionaire who advises people how to avoid tax. :-(

He's a multimillionaire

Like, he really has to worry about going broke. He pays all sorts of accountants who help him get by with paying as little as possible in taxes. He's got it made so why does he care if some poor, struggling couples get a pittance of money after having their first child? It's not going to harm him and he'll always be rich, so why doesn't he leave those poor couples alone?

Mediawatch, one of the reasons the roads are so bad and the bridges are falling apart is because conservatives don't want to spend the money to fix them. That, to me, is deplorable!

Priority number one is infrastructure.

Go to Poland B. Speak to people from The Family of Radio Maryja. Or since you've never lived in Poland or spent much time there (or speak Polish) just ask an American redneck instead.

It's not going to harm him and he'll always be rich, so why doesn't he leave those poor couples alone?

Exactly.

Silly. Everyone knows that the modern Liberal is the enemy within. Anymore Liberalism is like domestic terrorism.

He's got it made so why does he care if some poor, struggling couples get a pittance of money after having their first child? It's not going to harm him and he'll always be rich, so why doesn't he leave those poor couples alone?

Why don't they leave him and his money alone and not have kids they can't afford without burdening others with the costs?

one of the reasons the roads are so bad and the bridges are falling apart is because conservatives don't want to spend the money to fix them.

Ridiculous. Now you just making stuff up. :s

No they don't. I seem to remember a very liberal president being elected in your country with a landslide majority, and a liberal government in Poland too. And in the UK, 13 years of a very liberal government has just ended with an unclear election result causing a coalition between the Conservatives and the Liberals.

Why don't they leave him and his money alone and not have kids they can't afford without burdening others with the costs?

Poland is a Catholic country. Contraception is considered unacceptable by the Church. And to further disprove your silly argument, can you see a teensy weensy demographic flaw in your suggestion that people who aren't rich shouldn't have kids because they oughtn't to be entitled to a one-off payment of a few hundred pln?

The point is, he isn't burdened. He's a multimillionaire. He lives a fabulous lifestyle and never has to worry.
Face it, the dude will never have to worry about money unless he does something like make bad investments. Then he has only himself to blame. He can always have a child and get a credit though, lol, jk.

And while we are on that topic, it's the Republicans who support the tax credits for people with kids which is almost the same thing.

Yes lets make broad generalizations about conservatives. Yes I hear conservatives all the time saying lets not spend money on infrastructure. LOL

Do you know how silly this sounds? In the US virtually all the states are going broke and if a given bridge is not being put up its probably because there isn't money for it. The money was most likely used up to pay welfare for able bodied people just trying to live off the system and for illegals abusing the American hospitals who ended up bankrupt and closing down.

But you have to be more specific about a given bridge and if there is money for it that was not used up for some other thing. Anybody can make generalizations.

Speaking about generalizations, what about all the wasted hundreds of billions of dollars Libs have given to non citizens and deadbeats in this country that now can't be used for important infrastructure projects?

Go to Poland B. Speak to people from The Family of Radio Maryja. Or since you've never lived in Poland or spent much time there (or speak Polish) just ask an American redneck instead.

You sound childish.

If a guy like you, who doesn't criticize people who say Polish people are subhuman, doesn't like
Radio Maria, then Radio Maria is probably a good institution.

I'm sure Radio Maria would criticize people who call Polish people "subhuman". Its probably those kind of things that make you offended at Radio Maria.

More so than someone who says ther are no poor conservatives? Come off it, and admit you're wrong as usual.

If a guy like you, who doesn't criticize people who say Polish people are subhuman

I've no idea what you're talking about, and looking back at this thread don't see any such thing. Perhaps you should get a better fitting tin foil helmet..

that make you offended at Radio Maria.

Again making assumptions - that radio station (by the way, Maria isn't Polish - Maryja is. Maybe you should learn some Polish or even visit) doesn't particularly offend me. The rent-a-mob Family of Radio Maryja offends many, including JPII who refused to meet them in Kraków during his last visit and the Polish Episcopate who have strongly criticised them for political extremism.
