respect for the human and civil rights

It's good to hear that ehre's still a shreed of dceceny in your beloved Fatherland where some Christians have the courage to stand up to LGBT thretas, abuse and discrimination.

Employment tribunal rules that Christian nursery worker Sarah Mbuyi in London was discriminated against because of her belief that homosexual practice is contrary to the Bible. She was sacked after airing her views on homosexuality and marriage and has won a discrimination claim against her former employer

Not much about Poland there

Not much about Poland there

About as much as there was in the post he responded to above his.
I have to agree with Polonius that gay marriage in Poland will not be legal in jon's life time.
Poland does respect gays humans rights however marriage being defined as a man and woman which is not a gay right but a human right between a man and woman so why all the drama.

It will be legal sooner rather than later. Time waits for no man, and gay marriage is inevitable.

Absolutely, same sex marriage shall be legal in Poland and elsewhere, it is just a matter of time and, it'll soon be as normal as hetero marriages. A few months ago, I would not never imagined that 64% of the Irish would vote in favor of same sex marriage.

just a matter of time

More like 5-10.

Yes, Polsyr, 5-10 years! Who would have believed that 64% of the Irish voters would vote for same sex marriage and that said marriage is even legal in some Catholic countries in S. America?

Poland is moving too.

Absolutely, Poland is moving and anyone that can't see it, is simply blind.

@Polonius3; Who made you the judge of that, edit ?

No one, it was Jesus Christ that prophesised all this would happen in the end days.
And guess what, it is, just exactly as Jesus said it would.
And the Heathens Still have not caught on.

Johnny babe,

As I tell those Creationist fellers down in Hoot 'n Hollerville, how the !#$% does anybody know how long a day was, huh, smart guy???!
What Jesus did or didn't say is irrelevant, since the Bible was written in a number of languages (none of the them English) which were interpreted aka MISSinterpreted by humans as fallible as you or me.

Go on, palsy! Spare us the bull.

WoW me with more of your brilliance.
(I must have hit your little nut nerve)

does anybody know how long a day was, huh, smart guy???!

To God your life time is like the steam off from the cup of your coffee.
Instantly gone and over.

Exactly! Therefore, that the World was created in the proverbial seven days is subject to scrutiny, n'est pas? That Adam & Eve stuff?

Watch "Inherit The Wind" (1960), better yet, read the play. It'll open you eyes. (Probably have to pry 'em open in your caseLOL)

Watch "Inherit The Wind"

I liked the Grapes of Wrath. It had a better message.
"Does democratic Poland guarantee it's LGBT citizens respect for human and civil rights?"
Democratic Poland may but Christian Poland does not.
See, the question of this thread is merely being used to attack Chrsitianity as the Liberals
do so well because Christianity stands in the way of immorality of the gays agenda.

Same message, buddy!

Ma Joad to Tom: "Yep, they can shoot us, they can whup us, they can burn our houses and drive us off our land, but they cain't beat us. And ye know why? 'Cuz we're the people.." (to the distant harmonica strains of 'Red River Valley')

Democratic Poland may but Christian Poland does not.

Fortunately, Polish citizens are obliged to follow her Constitution, which was democratically approved in a referendum.

Christian Poland can say what it wants, but as Polish citizens, they have certain obligations. If they don't like it, the door is there.

Thumbs up. Bring it home, hon:-)

Last time I looked, I also seem to recall that the cornerstone of any democracy is the healthy separation between Church and State.

To my eternal shame, I must be the odd one out on this thread. I am bi-sexual. I like women and girls.

I like women and girls.

Me too, they smell so good.

Christian Poland does not.

Christians do not respect immorality nor will they ever.
It's not an obligation for them to accept sin as bad as the Libertines are demanding them to.
(You WILL accept us, You Will respect us, You will give us what we want, You will..........)
NO, No I will not be told what I must believe.
We have been persecuted for our Christians beliefs since the begining by these sick self serving heathens.
They even spit on Jesus.
Nothing new which brings us right back to:

This thread is about attacking Christianity which stands in the way of the "Gay Progressive Liberals" with an agenda to "enrich" Polands culture with their adulterated demands.

It's just prophesey being fulfilled. Nothing to get to excited about.

Avalon, that doesn't make you bi-, it makes you lesbian. At last check, women and girls are both proud members of the female species, yes?

Or were you being facetious? Guess its like the old joke: "My brother has a mixed marriage. He's Catholic and she's from Maine!" (groan, wheeze)

JohnnyReb(el), we're not doubting that Christians DON'T believe in immorality, the rest of us (fellow straight folks, I might add!!) simply wish to know why you think what "they're" doing, is necessarily immoral?? Because the Bible says so? Again, should the Bible be taken literally??!
Polonius3  980 | 12275
8 Jul 2015 /  #742
necessarily immoral??

Morality aside, it is depraving by being so sexocentric as if the brain was between one's legs. Constantly harping on rights, parades, outrageous fashions, the neo-lexicon (gay, bi, straight, crooked, hetero, homo, maso) excessive media coverage, etc. fan the flames of anything-goes liberitnism. Even if someone somehow claims he/she finds the practices aesthetically pleasing (???), which I strongly doubt (but de gustibus non est disputandum), the health hazard of the bacteriological bombshell, which has already been discussed on PF, is indisputable. Then there is the sterility, the non-procreative barrenness of such liaisons. Juxtaposing such usually short-lived "alternative" arrangements to the normal, stable, married family with kids is grossly disproportionate and misleading since the minority's 1.5% share in society should constantly be borne in mind That is why the propagandists make sure all these aspects are drowned out and shouted down out by the noisy "rights" clamour and its arsenal of familiar buzzwords and slogans.

@Polonius: a lot of (I am not saying ALL) men (including of course heteros) think with that they have between their legs and it is often difficult to deal with them.

I'm guessing Avalon is a straight male, and was just joking.

Your quip, and his, remind me of a great line from Emo Philips:

I need to tell you something very personal. I'm bisexual.

(long silence, slight embarrassed laughter from audience, not knowing what happened to the punchline)

Yep, twice a year.

(Audience laughs, then falls silent. After long pause...)

I buy sex.

[quote=jon357]harping
You have been harping exclusively on poltical slogans: gay rights, marriage rights, marriage equality, freedom, democracy, etc.
All the other concerns (integral family, health issues, domestic violence, susbtrance abuse, promiscuity, adoptions, life expectancy) were raised by others. Not a peep about those out of you and your fellow-LGBT propagandists. Because propagandists are not paid to seek or promtoie the truth but to peddle some pet cause.

Not of course that these are in any sense 'concerns' in respect of human and civil rights, are they now?

human and civil rights

The point is that you are sledgehammering away only on the political "rights" business rather than trying to see the pig picture. The poltical slogans are but one small snippet of reality.

That's what the thread's about...

trying to see the pig picture
