there is no newspaper in Poland that is directly controlled by PiS - there are PiS friendly media yes (and they are a minority)- but they are sometimes critical of PiS depending on their stances

Michnik should therefore be called a scumbag on the basis of his own anti-Polish activities not because old man Schechter was Stalin's stooge in Soviet-occupied Western Ukraine and his unwed mum was a Sovietiser trying to brainwash innocent Polish school children.


I thought you were opposed to "grzebanie sw życiorysach" (Michnik's term), rummaging about in people's biographies. And you probably agree with PO that IPN should be liquidated. So why are you invoking the findings of an institution whose credibilitiy you question?

Stating someone had once belonged to the PZPR if it is true is not grounds for a libel suit. And suggesting that some Polish poor-man's chat forum like PF is closely followed by all and sundry is laaughable. People who cannot back up their claims often try to pull such a fast one.
