If that sad Greta child gets a Noble Prize the award will lose all its prestige

Couldn't agree more.
She, or perhaps more importantly, her parents, are a disgrace.

In Poland a guy is responsible in exactly the same way for kids whether he is married to the mother or not.

No, his not. Husband is responsible by default. If he want to prove that the kid is not his, it's his burden.
An unmarried sperm donor is not responsible by default, as there is no default. There are 2 billion men out there she could name as the "father".

That is why if she wants to prove that the kid is his, it's her burden to prove it, not his to prove that it's not, which requires a court order to make his DNA available for testing.

At least this is how it works in the civilized countries.

But they are both legally responsible.

by exporting the dirtiest industries to China and other third world countries.

So... those countries are completely deprived of agency and forced by the big, bad first world to turn their countries into toxic garbage dumps? I don't think so. The Chinese government is all about economic progress uber alles and if Greta dared play her 'righteous angry girl" act on Chinese soil she'd be in prison faster than you can say "....what?"

But they are both legally responsible.

But the legal process is different. If you mean morally, you are absolutely correct.

...forced by the big, bad first world to turn their countries into toxic garbage dumps?

These countries usually have extremely fast growing populations. They need every job they can get and they are willing to pay a hefty price for that, which is the destruction of their environment and the exploitation of their people. Look at rare earths for example. The U.S. has large deposits within its borders, but they decided to rather buy from a willing seller (China) than poison their own land. Where does all the palm oil come from that we consume? That's right: from countries like Indonesia which clear-cuts its ancient rainforests on Borneo to feed some fat ass westerners. How about beef for McDonald's hamburgers? Much of it raised in Brazil on cattle farms that used to be tropical forest. The list is endless and it always boils down to the same problem: corporate greed, poverty in the Third World and overpopulation.

I said it before somewhere: our economic system has a major flaw. It is based on unlimited growth fueled by debt. Unlimited growth is called cancer, and that disease kills most of the time.

But the legal process is different

Process is different at first but not their legal responsibilities. Both have to support their kid.

Indonesia which clear-cuts its ancient rainforests on Borneo to feed some fat ass westerners.

Nope. To feed their own. That's the primary objective.

Unlimited growth is called cancer, and that disease kills most of the time.

Now we are on the same side of the table. It is sick that when our GDP is not up 3% we see it as a failure. How about zero. I mean everything, and no immigration. If the Americans can't fu*ck enough to keep the population constant, they should have that right. Maybe the US would be a better place with 100 million.

The U.S. in Montana is expecting our first snow storm of the season over the weekend with a predicted 37 inches (94 cm) of snow.
Must have something to do with global warming.

You are mistaken. Google "borneo palm oil" and pick your source.

Must have something to do with global warming.

The secret is called "average global temperature"...

Don't you know that absolutely everything is the result of global warming? Temp up. GW. Temp down. GW. Temp unchanged. Scary. We no longer have four seasons. Global warming.

Weather is used to describe Global Warming.
There has always been periods of cold, periods of hot, periods of floods, periods of drought, hurricanes, forest fires, snowstorms, ect. all related to historical weather patterns.

Today Macron

Why those French clowns called presidents do not keep their mouth shut? If they firms would start loosing business in Poland that would have made a trick.

That girl believes

The girl know F all. Young and stupid... idealistic can be a person that old enough to support herself and does it. When it comes from a mouth of a child that is supported by her parents. It looks like a freak show prompted by her parents with her as a puppet. Sad and stupid.

There is plenty of unmarried couples having kids...

Marriage is for the benefit of women. Seems funny if a woman is against it.

telling people to multiply like rabbits,

Totalitarian BS. The nature without people kinda makes no sense. Stop that sick attitude that sees people like a problem or a pestilence.
By the way - What do you care? You will kick the bucked long before any theoretical doomsday.

coal power station

the will connect your ass to the grid instead. How many kW can you produce a day?

Because it never snows in the mountains lol

Global Warming is a back door for Socialism!

Power: As evidence discredits global warming, resistance to such facts by green elites reveals their real aim is bringing socialism in through the back door.

No kidding, The Nobel prize should be changed to "Libtard of the Year" award, presented by CNN.

Greta dared play her 'righteous angry girl" act on Chinese soil she'd be in prison faster than you can say "....what?"

Unless the worlds largest polluters (China/India) join in, nothing we do really matters.

Sad and stupid.

The score so far: stupid - 10, idealistic - 1. We win.

China is in fact doing quite a lot. Using them as an excuse for inaction does no longer work.

theconversation.com/china-is-positioned-to-lead-on-climate-change-as-the-us-rolls-back-its-policies-114897

The reasons for that are simple. China is one of the countries that will be hit hard by climate change. They want to become a leader in reneable energy and they have a great interest in fighting smog in their cities.

Well the Nobels loved guns and oil but now 100 years later the committee is made up of educated Scandinavians - surprisingly they have different opinions than angry old American guys or Russian trolls who are paid to be angry.

As with all of these things why not just get the Kochs or some other rich angry dudes to create your own peace prize - they can give it to Putin, Trump, Netanyahu or whoever. Then all shall have prizes

Simple question: What did Barak Obama actually achieve to deserve a Nobel?

different opinions than angry old American guys or Russian trolls who are paid

Sounds like another polak conspiracy theory from the red apple early bird special.

Who's being paid around this forum..lololol

"\President Barack Obama for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people".[

Was this right after Obama went on his worldwide bowing to our enemies tour or the horrible Iran nuke deal lol. Trump should get one for NK or surely after this deal!

Right off to pick some mushrooms now

Pick some magic ones:)

These countries usually have extremely fast growing populations

China does not have a fast growing population, they've eliminated the one child policy and it ranks something like 150th in population growth, only Sub-Saharan Africa (as a region) has rapid population growth (and obviously not much in the way of industry which is one reason so many of them want out....)

our economic system has a major flaw. It is based on unlimited growth fueled by debt

I do agree with that, which is one reason to push back against neoliberalism (the dominant socio-political economic system in the world today).

Unless the worlds largest polluters (China/India) join in, nothing we do really matters.

Exactly, there is nothing the West (sensu largo) can do to offset Chinese and Indian actions... and China and India have no intention of changing course...

Belchatow, Europes' largest coal fired power station

I was reading about that court case. Annual emissions from Bełchatów are roughly the total sum of New Zealand's and it is the largest single greenhouse gas emitter in Europe.

Poland does rely too much on coal. The "gray" castles and buildings from the PRL were that way due to years of accumulated coal dust. Heck, the Palace of Culture was originally white!

Here we have an atomic power station and as a result such pollution here is much lower. Less smogs in winters as well.

Poland is not the only polluter, sure but Polish children breath all that! I mean who cares about global warming but I bet lots of children in Kraków and Katowice have asthma and stuff....

Poland does rely too much on coal.

I remember whwn I went to live in Poznań a few years ago. There was something that I noticed but couldn't put my finger on. Something that reminded me of my childhood years ago (in one of the Yorkshire coalfields). Then I figured out what it was; it was the taste of coal smoke and coal dust in the air.

Doesn't exactly help the local life-expectancy...

Neither does smoking. If I lived in a country that supplies to me smoke for free, the last thing I would do is smoke. Or do Poles smoke more following the logic that since I am inhaling all that crap, I am gonna get my own?

I don't think that there is any connection between pollution and smoking.
It is only relatively recently that both have been found to be harmful to health.
One was seen as a necessity and the other as a social thing.

Poland does rely too much on coal.

They are in the process of retrofit improvements and switching to natural gas, sure its going to take some time, but are putting in the effort. Now Germany is another story......

Germany burns more coal than any other country in Europe, and has done little to reduce air pollution from its coal plants.

dw.com/en/eu-takes-germany-to-court-over-air-pollution/a-42351552
beyond-coal.eu/last-gasp/

All this pollution drifts right into Poland!

So apparently the wind bring Germany's smog over Poland. Makes sense and sounds terrible! Germans often brag about how clean their air is.
