PO-PiS again neck and neck

PO and PiS are again neck and neck at 28%. I'm sure Kacyzńskis will do or say something off the wall shortly which will return the lead to the ruling party.

People seem to have had their fill of Tusk and would consider a serious, responsible and low-key conservative alternative. The close Komorowski-Kaczyński race would seem to back up that view. Also when PiS toned down the Smolensk business and hosted an economic forum, support for it shot up again. Privately those in the know in PiS circles do not think Kaczyński is likely to ever be PM again. At times it might even appear that Kaczyński is being depebrately ill-advised by his closest associates who know he'll over-react emotionally to various stimuli. Politics is all about emotion as a tool to sway the masses, but a poltician should not allow himself to be victimised or held hostage by it the way Kaczyński has done.

In politics you need a vehicle to take you forward, Kaczynski chooses a Polski Fiat. Poland has moved on.

Kaczyński's no fool, but he lost his cool over Smolensk. Perhaps permanently. There may be fools in his inner circle but there are also Brutuses just waiting with dagger in hand....

Kaczyński's no fool

No that's quite correct, calling him a fool would do a disservice to all the fools out there, I am quite sure he is a complete cretin. Can't drive, didn't have a bank account until recently. And when martial law was in place he stayed with his mother in her apartment.

Just in case you forgot, here is a little remainder:

who needs freinds when you have Kaczynski?

serious, responsible and low-key conservative alternative.

Like PO
PIS would be serious, irresponsible and ultra conservative alternative
modern right versus the traditional right,

Kaczyński's no fool

the real fools are his supporters and admirers. He's just a parasite living on ignorance.

but a poltician should not allow himself to be victimised or held hostage by it the way Kaczyński has done.

because he is too mentally unstable to be even trusted with running a car ,never mind running a nation between two Bears.

you may be right but I don't think it has anything to do with Tusk himself. Maybe the perception of too much change too quickly has made people uneasy; what they're asking for is a breather, a break.

What's so shocking ?

You must be the only one who doesn't see anything unusual about his asinine laugh. Sorry but that is not a normal laugh, that is a - the man has some serious issue laugh. BTW: that was a far more shortened version of the real clip

I still don't get it... so it's all about the way he is laughing... ?

so it's all about the way he is laughing... ?

No, it's nothing to do with the laughing per se, it’s how he is laughing, the timing, and the length of his laughter. All of these raise a few questions.

I will post a more complete version a little later.

This hate makes me want to work hard for PiS and Kaczynski.

I only met the guy once, years ago before he'd stood for office, and I found him both creepily disturbing and very anti-social.

Define normal and while you are on it, is there any professional who would agree to diagnose man's mental health from the way he laughs?

I only met the guy once, years ago before he'd stood for office, and I found him both creepily disturbing and very anti-social.

In what way?

both creepily disturbing and very anti-social.

And that is what pretty much his laughing betrays

Define normal

Just as soon as you define abnormal, my definition is Kaczynski.

Oh reaally/ Can you back it up by some scientific research or it just your gut feeling? To me it sounds like he doesn't like Tusk - small wonder!

Having family who is taking advantage of lawless climate in Poland dis hardly "a thingee" which would encourage you to independent thought.

Most definitely not - some things should remain out of the public domain, however you have two adjectives and an adverb and will have to make do with that...

Let me think about it. How about you ask Kaczynski to submit himself to testing, and then you will have your scientific answer. Unfortunately I am unable to provide you with a certificate at this point in time.

Waste of time!

/so basically you want me to take your word on it! I mean if you wanted some things to be left out of public domain you should#t even started that caper!

Merged: PiS 33, PO 28 -- survey of Poland's election shows

'The latest PiS internal poll has shown support for PiS at 33% and PO 28%. Usually our internal surveys have underestimated us,' MEP Ryszard Czarnecki wrote on his blog.

The latest PiS internal poll has shown support for PiS at 33% and PO 28%.

A PiS internal poll is meaningless. Anyone can do a poll and make it say what they want. Anyway, 33% is still terrible for PiS - under the Polish election system, they would need a minimum of 45% to possibly gain a majority in the Sejm. 33% wouldn't even be enough to form a viable coalition - as they remember from last time.

Usually our internal surveys have underestimated us,' MEP Ryszard Czarnecki wrote on his blog.

Excuses, excuses.

The Fourth Republic will rise again!

Why are you supporting a clearly treasonous idea? Even worse - why are you supporting a treasonous idea when you aren't even a citizen of Poland?

An anecdote going round contends that cats are wiser than humans, because no cat has evert voted for PO!

And how many cats have voted for PiS?

Ah, none.

Funny how actual real polls have PiS on less than 28%, isn't it?

The Fourth Republic will rise again!

No it won't, and such talk is treasonous.

why are you supporting a treasonous idea when you aren't even a citizen of Poland?

I think he is isn't he? Wouldn't he have needed to be one to buy that house?

But....in PiSlandia, they know the truth, and their polls speak the truth, and their leader speaks the truth!

No it won't, and such talk is treasonous.

Thankfully the majority of people in the Sejm are completely against such ideas.

Big election year next year, surely this is Kaczynski's final shot at glory?

Funny that to you, 'actual real polls' seem to be the ones that have PiS lower in the percentiles.

They have no chance at all of being part of the government if they only get 33% of the vote.

I don't really believe in polls. They are mostly useless. Especially the ones made on order. The only way to know who'll win is to wait for the day after elections
