As soon as they legalize online gambling (and they will too much profits in terms of taxation to not doing it) all the foreign sites will be blocked/banned. I lived in Italy for some years and as soon as they regulated the market they blocked all foreign sites (blocking polish Ips.)

How did they stop people just using a proxy server?
They don't.
Betfaq & Ladbrokes don't allow customers from Poland, but with a handy VPN I can use these exchanges. Betfair allows Polish customers though.
The problem may be that they don't allow you to deposit with a credit card that isn't from the UK.......but you can just use Skrill or Paypal and put in a made up UK address.

I am with Bet365. They did a long check- calling me from the office in UK and asking me few security questions. I did not have to register a credit card nor make a deposit via paypal. And believe me, the odds for football are better than any sites.
Back to the question.
Do I need to pay tax on my wins? I am in Poland and the betting company is registered in UK...
As far as I know that on winnings like gambling, lottery, lotto, ect... you don't pay tax. but this is Poland.... So I don't know if they have the same set of rules.
