David Miliband, whose grandad left Poland in 1920. Grandad's brother went east to join Stalin. Father was a socialist theorist and intellectual.

Coalition politics ...

The losers might join forces ...

UK might have anti-Polish socialist Prime Minister

Well, we had an unelected anti-British socialist prime minister until Thursday, so I wouldn't be at all surprised!

should have been executed for treachery!

Perfect for NuLabour, then! Send 'em to the tower!

If Labour had won the election Milliband could have been Prime Minister because he is a Jew only Catholics can't become Prime Minister of Britain.

UK might have anti-Polish socialist Prime Minister

David Miliband thanked Poles for saving his Jewish mother's life during the Holocaust, without which he would not be alive.

During an official visit to Poland, the Foreign Secretary said: 'My mother was born here, her life was saved by those who risked theirs [by] sheltering her from Nazi oppression.'

Miliband's Polish Jewish mother, Marion Kozak, is from Czestochowa in southern Poland and emigrated in the 1950s. His paternal grandparents were also Polish Jews.

In a speech later in the day, Miliband spoke of the 'deep and real bonds' between Poland and the UK, and said he considers himself one of the million Britons with Polish blood.

'Jews and Poles are becoming more aware the bonds they have with one another,'

‘Jews and Poles are becoming more aware the bonds they have with one another,’

Maybe I'll forward him a link to this forum - let's see if he thinks the same after reading some of the threads on here :D

If Labour had won the election Milliband could have been Prime Minister because he is a Jew only Catholics can't become Prime Minister of Britain.

Tell us something we dont know..still descrimatated in the 21st century! Bloody muslims get better treatment! I wonder if Gordo will convert now he's resigned..Blair seems to have done okay since saw the light ;0)

There is 5.5 million British Catholics in the UK discriminated because they are catholics I find this unbelievable in a country that has passed so many anti-race laws and will discriminate against its own Catholic subjects. Not that I give a feck about the Catholics I gave up being one a long time ago I just hate the injustice. As regards Gordo he was the greatest disaster since the Zeppelin its a pity he didn't fukc off two and a half years ago.

Absolutely, and why do you think they imposed so many taxes on us? It's all preparation for the "non-Muslim" jizyah tax which would eventually be imposed on us! The irony is, if Labour had got their way, the Church Of England would eventually also have become illegal, and the Queen would probably be executed - if that isn't treason, then what is? Yet instead of watching Labour MPs swing, the only thing "hung" is the Parliament.

My money would be on Miliband not lasting two years as leader of the opposition, before somebody stabs him in the back, I can't wait to see Labour start tearing chunks out of each other!

I think Milliband will do just fine, he's not bad in interviews and he looks good.

As for

I can't wait to see Labour start tearing chunks out of each other!

Brown did the right thing to step down, the same when Kninnock stepped aside many years ago..the thing with Labour is they know when they are defeated and in the end do whats best for the party..This time it was too late, he should have stepped aside months before the elections and the likes of Hazel Blears should have been kicked out of the party! You'll be dissapointed is all I can say if you are waiting for fireworks! The Milliband thing has been in the pipeline for a long time.

There is 5.5 million British Catholics in the UK discriminated because they are catholics I find this unbelievable in a country that has passed so many anti-race laws and will discriminate against its own Catholic subjects.

Muslims can wear the headgear in their daily jobs, yet a nurse was told she could not wear the Crucifix she'd been wearing for over 30 years. Catholic schools are being invaded by muslims who demand prayer rooms (can you imagine a catholic kid in a muslim school being given any kind of concessions?) - its a damn joke! So yes we are descriminated against, have been for over 500 years - there mere fact an English Catholic can not be the Priminister of his own country is a prime example - Instead we get another Prod Scot who is decent of a German (George I)!

Not sure if I agree with your analysis, remember the eighties? The longest suicide note in history? You will probably see some of the Labour dinosaurs dragging the party to the left, after all the center ground is occupied by the Lib Dems and Conservatives. Somebody like Balls is way to ambitious to leave Miliband alone, and lets not forget Balls' wife.

Thread attached on merging:
Cousin of Polish Communist agents to become UK socialist leader

The Miliband brothers (David and Ed) are the key axis in the UK Labour Party. Shame their family did everything to promote Stalinism in Europe and throttle Poland at birth.

One branch of the family left Warsaw to fight on the Bolshevik side in 1920 and entered the close circles of Stalin. Another branch tried its best to infiltrate high English circles, but eventually retreated into the Labour Party. (Managed some spying in Turkey though.)

Google Sofia and Celina Miliband ...

Are they? Since no one has been elected to respresent the Party, you should think before you write.

Cry me a river!!

Was he the only Pole that did that? You missed out the fact they are Jews as well..my my...that was a miss opportunity!

Another branch tried its best to infiltrate high English circles

The upper classes didnt need infiltrating you fool...They were quite happy to cavort with the likes of Hitler in the 1940s, his policies were quite welcomed by them, which means I doubt that a marxist Jew would have been mixing with these kind of people..God you are stupid!

You've already posted about the Millibands before..give it up!

Given the way that Jews were treated in Poland around that time, it's no surprise that so many of them were not in favour of Poland. When are Poles going to learn that they get what they give?

in 1920

Not that I am in favour of them very much, but are Ed and David to blame for what some faraway forefathers did 90 years ago?

I'll tell you something about my family, father is Dutch, mother is German. My greatgrandfather on father's side was a Dutch collaborator with the Nazis, his son (so my grandfather) was in the resistance, lived the best part of WWII on the run in the woods and did some very nasty things to the Nazis.

My greatuncle from mother's side flew bombing raids for the Luftwaffe over the former Soviet Union, was shot down 4 times and was captured the last time. He was sent to Siberia and only came back home in 1957. My grandfather on mother's side on the other hand was someone high up in SPD-ranks, sent to a concentration camp and perished there.

Am I responsible in any way for what my greatgrandfather or greatuncle did? Or for any of my grandfathers?

Come on ... this thread is really far fetched. If that's all what you worry about ... .

Could you perhaps point me in the direction of the legal or constitutional barrier to a Catholic being PM?

The Prime Minster is required to follow the Church of England in order to become Prime Minster.

The Act of Settlement 1701, which remains in operation today, excludes any Catholic or anyone who marries a Catholic from the throne.

Under the Roman Catholic Relief Act of 1829, sect. 17, and the Jews' Relief Act of 1858, sec 4, no Roman Catholic or Jew may advise the sovereign on ecclesiastical matters. Were the prime minister to be a Roman Catholic or a Jew and alternate system of ecclesiastical appointment would have to be devised.

To date, all British Prime Ministers to date, at least while in office, have professed Anglican faith. Disraeli, while born into a jewish family, was babtised into the church of England at age 12 and Tony Blair waited till after he stood down from the post of prime minister to officially convert to catholicism.

So there you have it.

Poljaci, my sisters and brothers, my beloved people

We- Poles and Serbs aren`t incompetent, we aren`t weak.... but seams that we are both a little bit naive. We had plans to mutually defend ourselves, to defend Slavija. But, we both we betrayed by England!

Grandfather went to a Slavic country... Father is a socialist (in Europe?!?!) and, worst of all, an intellectual. What further proof do we need that David Milliband is a Pole-hating monster?

Tell us something we dont know..still descrimatated in the 21st century

Is this one of those magical times when you remember that the United Kingdom doesn't just consist of England, England, England and England? Because unless you're talking about Northern Ireland, there is no observant or objective person that would say Catholics are discriminated against in the UK. Since you always mistake your country for being only England, I'm going to rightfully assume you meant "discriminated against in England", which is even more false.

If you meant that a Catholic cannot become Prime Minister, then I'm going to assume that whatever you were smoking when you said David Milliband was attractive is still in your system, because that is also a bunch of crap. This is a majority-Protestant and secular country, which means that a Catholic candidate would simply not get as many votes as an identical candidate who happens to be Protestant. Thankfully, this country does not resemble the U.S in the shameful popularity contest that elections are, so the religion of a potential Prime Minister is very rarely called into question. As for Tony Blair, he kept his conversion a secret because it would just make him more unpopular than he already was, it would also cause unnecessary tensions, and most of all it was irrelevant to his political career at the time, and still is.

Catholic schools are being invaded by muslims who demand prayer rooms (can you imagine a catholic kid in a muslim school being given any kind of concessions?)

Catholic kid in a Muslim school, where? Not in the UK. However, if you went to some Middle-Eastern countries like Jordan and Lebanon, you'd see that Christians in Muslim schools get their own worshipping facilities, and vice-versa. Sorry if this fact collides with your ULTRA EXTREME OMG ALARMIST THE WORLD IS SO UNFAIR agenda, but sometimes you need to get a dose of reality.

there mere fact an English Catholic can not be the Priminister of his own country is a prime example

There you go again with the "England is the UK" thing. Pray tell, why does an English person have more right to be Prime Minister than a Welshman, a Scot, or even an Irishman?

So yes we are descriminated against, have been for over 500 years

Haha, hilarious. You're actually playing oppression olympics with the Catholic card? What an ungrateful, ignorant, insular, spoiled brat you are.

its sick statement. Provocative. There are no Ottoman Slavs. As those Brits used to say, when they were honest on us, Serbs are guardians of the gate. That`s how it was, that`s how it is

Which gate you were guarding?

Slavic and European

The hills of Sarajevo? Untill Nato bombed you

Muslim authorities in Sarajevo initiated civil war in Bosnia, captured and terrorized local ethnic Serbs. Serbs as Serbs don`t like when somebody terrorize them and they responded.

Islamic league with its friends from NATO/EU reacted then on the behalf of Bosnian Muslim leadership and things got really ugly.

your sick dreams?

Serbs only desired to survive and live as independent. It was just to much for Islamic league and key NATO/EU powers

UK politicians tend to be jumped-up twats anyway! Many of them see Poland as nothing more than a poor and degenerate country. How little they know!
