embarrassing to be caught so easily

I must admit PiS are too straight forward and sincere and lack PO's PR savvy, propaganda prowess and fake-news finesse. They tried to enter a field where only the glib, slippery and web-minded post-commie clique excel.

Yes they want the kind of power the PZPR had in the days of the PRL and are pursuing that goal in a very consistent manner.

One thing you and most others have failed to notice is that the legislation was not created only for when PiS remain in power.
But Duda did the right thing. As a doctor of law he found many legsilative flaws even beyond the actual merits of the case. I believe he will change the laws to give more say to parliament (less to the prosecutor general). For instance, the Sejm will proposes candidates with 3/5 support and the president will accept or reject the candidatures.

Doesn't that concern you? What would you do if PO win the next elections and decide to push through exactly the same legislation?

Whatever those paying him tell him to do (harsh I know but I'm not feeling merciful at the moment....)
