To all. In connection to topic. If you want to know more.

On June 16 1913, in Second Balkan war, Bulgaria betrayed anti-Ottoman alliance with Serbia and Greece and attacked. Bulgarian Tzar, a German- Ferdinand Maximilian Karl Leopold Maria of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, started rapidly to losing war and called Austro-Hungaria for help. A-H told him to give up some territory in favor of Romania and they will join in war against Serbia. Bulgarian Tzar refused and A-H refused to support Bulgaria. When A-H refused to enter war, Bulgarian Tzar sent them message: ``You missing historical chance to erase Serbia from the map of Europe.``

And it was prior to Russia guaranteed support to Serbia in case of A-H assault. Also, prior to German guaranties to A-H.

Then, on June 28. 1914, happened Ferdinand`s provocation on Vidovdan (day dedicated to Svetovid) in Sarajevo and Gavrilo Princip killed him. After one month A-H attacked Serbia, Russia entered war and rest is history.

What I want to tell you, if history went in its alternative way, would Poland manage to restore its independence if not for Serbia, if Serbia didn`t exist, was erased as Blugarian Tzar of German nobility suggested to A-H? I think, it is possible that if A-H attacked Serbia in coordination with Bulgaria, they had chance to win. Serbia was tired from long war with Turks and Bulgarian betrayal of alliance and sudden attack did harmed Serbia.

So, if Serbia was back then destroyed, I am sure, neither Slavic South, neither Slavic West wouldn`t exist today. That way, Poland too wouldn`t exist. Not in any version, I am absolutely sure. There won`t be need for Poland.

There is not a single Pole who would like to get a history lesson about Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey - especially today. Trust me.

But, see, at least Poland exist. So, blue eyes of Gavrilo for the independence of Poland, I would say, was a worthy exchange.

d

One day, Poland would rise Her noble head of a dragon and THAT Poland would ask for Serbia. That Poland would know that historical salvation didn`t come from the western Europe but from Serbia. Exactly as it is said in legends about Sarmatians.

Our shadows will be walking through Vienna, strolling through the court, frightening lords.

Let's not neglect what's happening in other parts of the World amidst the euphoric jubilation of celebration transpiring in Poland. Another homogeneic march is occuring too, this time from Pakistan; twitter.com/AFP/status/1060932528821989376

"VIDEO: Thousands of supporters of Islamist parties take to the streets of Karachi to protest Asia Bibi's acquittal and call for her beheading. Bibi, a Pakistani Christian woman who spent eight years on death row for blasphemy was freed from jail"

Let them live the way they want, way over there. And remain there.

But

Ladies, where would you rather live. Want to import that to Israel? the USA? Poland perhaps? Birmingham UK already has a bad case of import, yet it need not be a terminal diagnosis. What's important is to always remember who is behind the push (hint: it's not the hood ornaments like Macron).

So Poles, be happy that you have a strong homogeneous culture in which to protect. Don't allow marxist moles or parasites to make you feel one f@rts' worth of guilt for maintaining it.

I was there as a Canadian with Polish heritage and I'm glad I went. Maybe some dont appreciate that this kind of celebration is not accepted anywhere in western europe or north america anymore. It's not just about keeping Poland polish, it's about remembering our family members who gave their lives for the idea of what Poland represents. I hope Poland never changes like Canada where there is absolutely no nationalism or freedom of speech. Call me a plastic pole or a armchair pole it doesn't matter to me, I'm proud my family fought and died for Poland and they would be proud me of me for honouring their sacrifice.

who gave their lives for the idea of what Poland represents.

Like the Poles that died fighting the Allies in WW1, perhaps?

They wouldn't be proud of you, because they'd know that you marched side-by-side with fascists.

I marched to remember my family and that's something personal which you can't really understand. You know a few sentances about me yet you infer something like that? Says a lot about you as a person.

If Polish polling was false,

They are not false - they are skewed. It has been talked about in Poland few times. Probably you don't follow media.

One day, Poles will celebrate their Independence Day with

You what? What do you care? Some people celebrate in this way some in the other and some not at all. No biggie.
Why you so insisting on forcing on the people your bias and your views and your point of view? That is a totalitarian thinking making people conform to the one set of particular views and enforce it on the others.

No one is forcing you to cerebrate anything let alone participate in the march.

Your choice, none is going to harass, judge or shoot at you if you don't like march or won't celebrate Poland's independence day. . Yet you and a lot of others commies seems to have some kind of problem with the march, patriotism and ideas, views that are different that you adhere to.

That mighty intolerant of you and your ilk not to mention racist tut tut Dougie.

You marched with fascists chanting fascist slogans to remember your family?

I'm sure they're so proud of you.

In other news, the Polish government is bound and determined to make the country look like it's run by rude bumpkins who do not understand even basic protocol.

wiadomosci.wp.pl/dr-sibora-tusk-w-piatym-rzedzie-to-zlamanie-protokolu-6315841573148289a

Little things matter and if a government can't even follow simply protocol then how can they be expected to be reliable allies?

That's the entire problem with PiS, if you ask me. They're utterly clueless about how to behave internationally, and even if they want to resort to PRL-era bumpkin tactics, it doesn't mean it works with everyone else.

I did see a very well reasoned argument that PiS are doing this sort of thing on purpose, because it's the same petty small minded behaviour that their supporters are known for.

Kaczyński knows who assassinated his twin brother. If he says march was "a great success" he, among else, serve memory to his brother. And flag of EU was burned during march.

Then also, in any case, I have more respect for Kaczyński then for Duda and Tusk.

Read my post again.
MY numbers are not the 'real' numbers I do not claim that. However my estimation is more close to real numbers that this poll, 78% really?

After moving to Canada at the age of 7 I've finally returned to Poland just a few months ago (I'm now 31) and I'm so proud to have marched yesterday. I realized yesterday that Poland will never turn into one of those western countries, thank god.

By tomorrow I am sure that some posters here will have uploaded pictures from the march and you can see for yourself.

Well The March came and went, I attended with my wife, family and friends, and no I didn't see fascist hordes ,I observed a sea of red and white with only a few banners that I considered questionable.

But as usual the Usual marxist news outlets have taken a few setup photographs to smear the peoples march, I note the British libtard press BBC , Guardian have done their best to portray the March in a bad light along with al jazeera .

The atmosphere was friendly , I noticed a number of African Americans, Asians and and s Sikh cyclist , all safe and smiling.

Some 200,000 people took part in an Independence Day march in the Polish capital on Sunday, the minister for the interior said.

Those of us living in Poland know that these numbers should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Then again, you believe everything that comes out of the White House, so it doesn't surprise me that you believe everything the government tells you.

We need not your meaningless opinion as we already know where your Commie Scottish heart stands on Poland.

Besides you have already admitted that you have no use for the Polish people so stifle yourself.

Those of us living in Poland

Those of us who live in Poland who do not have a negative agenda towards Poland would agree a number of 200,000 if not more, definitely much much larger than last year with only a handful of incidents and no hate crime to my knowledge.

The March came and went, I attended with my wife, family and friend

which one? Warsaw or Wrocław? This year Wrocław was apparently the worst this year with some nasty people involved (Rybak Międlar).

In retrospect it's obvious that PiS and the opposition were working together to try to tame the Warsaw march and it sort of worked. I expect organizers will have to meet an increasingly new restrictive set of conditions each year until it looks more like a patriotic event and less like a convention of soccer hooligans

Of course in most cities it's not a problem at all (Poznań has a nice procession/parade which I was unable to attend since I'd come down with something). There are also the rogale (way too heavy for me to have more than one....)

@delphiandomine
Why are you such a hateful person? All your comments are so dark. You're like an extremist from the Left, just let people be. Who said anything about Russia? The main thing is to never let Poland turn into one of those hardcore over the top liberal nations. I watched a transgender man beat the hell out of a woman in an MMA state sanctioned fight, this is more of a metaphorical example of what happens when things go to far with PC culture. This is the fire that will consume the west and I don't want my grandchildren to be in that fire.
