Polish Independence Day March in Warsaw. Is it going to be the biggest march yet?

If you hate Poles and Poland so much, why don't you return to Scotland?

I'm wondering why you think that hating a march filled with hatred is equal to hating Poles and Poland.

As Mafketis, Doug, Ziemowit and others that live in Poland keep stressing, these nationalists do not represent Poles and Poland.

Still, nationalists are now really angry and upset with PiS. Popcorn, anyone?

What is "nationalist"? Why did it become a hate word? What's the opposite to "nationalist" if "nationalist" is so bad?

Because I think you basically misunderstand Poles.
Living in Poland gives you no more or less knowledge of the subject than someone like me,who has never actually lived and worked in Poland but is 100% of Polish descent, brought up in all Polish ways, speaks the language from childhood and has been surrounded by Poles all my life.

My opinion is as valid as yours,so stop using the term pseudo Poles, when actually, you are a Scot.......who happens to live in Poland and still doesn't understand Poles.....

Surely when the posters living in Poland here all agree that the march is a fringe event of minor importance and which isn't supported by the vast majority of Poles, there's validity to the opinion?

Those living abroad don't understand the dynamics here. We know/understand that this event is attended by people from distant towns/villages, and that it's organised by two fringe nationalist groups that are completely irrelevant politically. The pseudopoles abroad don't understand this, because they don't see the buses transporting these people, they don't see them drunk/aggressive on trains, etc etc. All they see are the flags and slogans, and they assume that these people are somehow representative of he entire country.

Anyway, it's a moot point now. The government believes that their march (by virtue of being a state occasion - which isn't legally correct, but anyway) takes precedence over the nationalist march, so even if the court overrules the decision by HGW, the government march will go ahead regardless of what nationalist snowflakes want.

Spike - such race hatred would be illegal in the UK.

Since when celebrating patriotism and national pride is called "race hatred"? Remember that Poland is not barbaric Germany, where race hatred does indeed walk right behind nationalism.

It is very unfortunate that the UK unfortunately is poisoned with the same cultural marxist bacteria called "PC" as the most of the Western Europe. Which is a pity cause the UK with Poland could be a political counter-balance to Franco-Teutonic EU. I hope that Brexit will cure the situation a little bit.

If you hate Poles and Poland so much, why don't you return to Scotland?

Miroslaw, he is just clueless and a little bit dim-witted. He doesn't understand the situation nor takes any responsibility for his own words.

One way or another the march will take place and we will unite singing National Anthem under Polish flag to celebrate the Independence Day, cultural integrity and patriotic values.

OK, time to sleep. The whole situation will be clearer tomorrow :-)

like "Only white Europe" (Europa tylko biała)

So what? So what ? So what? What is the big deal? Do you see a problem with a phrase 'only black Africa'?

Anyhow, amongst 100 000 people you and other butthurt twits find 100 people with some not that kosher banners. What is a big deal? So what? It wasn't an official banner of the march. People are bringing their own stuff because is not an army but people and anyone can come. Sadly Soviets don't get it.

I can understand progressive preachers with their fanatical pseudo religious zeal. Those are dangerous nutters and should be neutered. Like delph for example.
Yet, I cannot sand those all useful idiots who buy into progressive BS and propaganda..
I feel an urge to batt them with a rolled newspaper saying 'bad doggie, bad doggie' in hope they will learn and do better next time.

Suddenly it's gone from being a "grassroots conservative march" to being a "sucking the balls of the government march", I see.

Interesting....maybe even a very white, traditional, christian and cultural homogenous Poland without all them lefties ruling and masses of immigrant muslims is still no guarantee for inner peace and unity and a "happily ever after"?

*feels better now*

Somebody finally got around to asking the real Polish public, and.... it seems they don't like the march as much as some armchair Poles in other countries do. Only about 2 % of those surveyed would like to take part in it.

Which rather proves what you've been saying all along.

Hahahahaha :D Absolutely glorious, and a sign of what Polish people actually think about the "patriotism" as promoted by pseudopoles.

Yes, I do. There are a lot of people other than black in Africa and Africa is surely a place for them, too.

it seems they don't like the march as much as some armchair Poles in other countries do

Pseudo-Poles or armchair Poles ... what is the difference?

People are bringing their own stuff because is not an army but people and anyone can come. Sadly Soviets don't get it.

Some people on this forum have totalitarian minds and only very limited knowledge about what personal freedom means.

It's not even their own fault, they're just tools which were formed that way by a modern Western societies. People who don't remember their own past and have no power over creating their own future.

The court in Wrocław has just annuled the mayor's ban regarding the march in Wrocław.

Better to look at the commonality, which is a profound sense of not wanting to pay taxes in Poland.

Yeah.... 50 people... BIIIIIG sample...

And it says that 19% 'might' take part - 2 % would for sure... and that's out of a tiny sample of 50 people. I could go around ask 50 people the same question and get the opposite result.

Armchair Poles? You're not even Polish dude...

As I have said before, due to the cross section of society at the march it would mean that its a lot more than 2% that would attend the march. If it was just one demographic I could buy it but its not, its everyone from bankers to builders. Id say 90% of Poles I meet would love to attend and are interested to hear all about my experience there but have not attended yet.

The sample size was 1100 not 50. It says every 50th person asked said they would like to attend. Which is 2 percent.

The full results are in Rz.

I spent the whole day with Polish bakers LonPol and they are united in one thing - they wanted to leave Warsaw for the day of the march and they would rather be working in Monday than sat talking to the mother in law. I imagine most builders probably want to earn money before it starts snowing.

Andrzej Dupa just cancelled any considerations of march on 11/11 by organizing his own politically correct version and cancelling all other.
Oh, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz(jewess) banned the thing alltogether with the excuse that DUPA has his own.

pretty sure Dirk fully understood. 1100 is a small sample size.

Now it's not. If done randomly, it is a scientifically accepted sample. Using a sample of 5,000 and respondents only adds to the cost of such a survey and does not appreciably reduce error.

It's 40 years since I was studying, but I am sure you are aware of the above as statistical fact.

It's a professional polling company working for a generally soft right wing paper - I don't think they just walked into the first trendy cafe they saw in Warsaw and asked all the students lounging around there what they thought.

He has a history here.... I think he didn't understand (though ignorance of the written language or reading too quickly).

The sample size is pretty normal the paper that commissioned it is not really left wing at all.

It jibes with my experience on the ground in Poland where most people don't want anything to do with the white power football hooligan parades....

It amuses me how those who aren't even ethnic Poles are the ones who knows best how Poles should, or even must, think and do.

Regular Poles would not take seriously such a nonsense spoken in broken Polish so the only real recipients of such a content are other expats on the internet forum :-).

Btw,The court has annulled the mayor's ban:
