"We will not hesitate to shoot Kaczyński dead" - KOD Facebook page

News that KOD had posted a death threat against Kaczyński caused a major rumpus in the Sejm on Thursday. Words attributed to KOD leader Mateusz Kijowski "We will not hesitate to shoot Kaczyński dead" were posted on KOD's Facebook page. The incident was reported to the police and prosecutor. The threat was deleted after 9 minutes but managed to achieve 13 likes in that time. So far the only fatality in PO's decade-old hate campaign against PiS occurred several years ago when a PO supporter stormed into PiS' £ódź office and shot a staff worker dead.

It was a fake profile, and Petru of .Nowoczesna pointed this out in the Sejm. Kijowski never said those things, and it was a very poor attempt at a provocation by a PiS supporter using a fake profile to discredit KOD.

Your pathetic and crude attempt at propaganda won't work here - you're just putting more and more people on the streets, and your fear is evident.

But then again, this reassures me. You're obviously worried sick that KOD will grow and grow in strength, and no-one is going to believe the lies coming from the PiS media.

Anyway, people have been trying to break into Kijowski's bank account, his Facebook account, he's received death threats (and so has his wife) - the fear of the government towards KOD is remarkable. Fortunately, the way that KOD is set up means that if you cut off one head, ten heads will replace it. And so on.

Any proof? You seem to believe only what you wnat to believe, If Petru says something the only thing an honest person can say is: "Petru said such and such", not that what he said was gospel.

But I can understand your excitement. Finally something is happenign. To those who never smelt tear gas, felt the sting of a ZOMO baton, were bowled over by water cannon or hauled down tot eh polcie station for questioning, the KOD nonsense will provide a welcome resptie and diversion from the boring Internet and same old pub.

What a surprise, really. PiS have used a fake profile to cause trouble, and now they'll use their goons to harass and threaten Kijowski. It's all entirely predictable - just like in Russia, opposition is dealt with through smears, slander and the security forces.

Not really. We know who made the post - a PiS supporter that was barely literate. We don't need to prove who made it - we know that PiS have an army of brainless goons at their disposal, and we prefer to use more eloquent arguments.

The thread should be left so that those responsible for the inflammatory, not to say libellous, remarks can have their noses rubbed in it when the truth comes out. Did anyone seriously believe it was anything other than a hack? Must be dim.

To democracy supporters it will be massively significant. Not only would it be proof of dirty tricks by Jaro and his gang but a significant step in the fall of PiS. I was going to say the beginning of their fall, but that has been long passed already.

Democracy supports support the duly elected Polish president and Sejm. Anti-democracy advocates oppose them. Claiming that that the election results are invalid is pure propaganda and Orwellian double-speak.


Alleging that the present President and Sejm were not democratically elected is inflammatory enough, and could easily be considered insulting to the Polish nation. That is a crime in Poland. You foreign English teachers should be careful about what you write, especially when promoting subversion.
