Former Polish MP caught driving without a license..... twice in one day!

Former MP (from PiS*) Artur Zawisza (who bears a superficial resemblance to an older version of disco polo star Sławomir) ran over a bicyclist the other day in Warsaw while driving without a license (which had been suspended because he had been caught drunk driving)

He said he was driving out of "higher necessity" because he had 'an important meeting'... he dismissed the accident as "a collision, like hundreds of others" and promised to apologize the bicyclist and bring her flowers. Meanwhile the doctors said the injuries require surgery and the patient is unlikely to recover completely.

Later that day, he was caught again! He said he was taking his car back to his garage but surveillance footage shows he was lying...

Politically, he's now associated with some right wing religious nut group

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_Wing_of_the_Republic

Like many hypocrites, he apparently has one rule for hoi polloi (obey the law!) and another for himself (I can't be expected to pay for a taxi or take a bus! I'm too important!)

Here's hoping they throw away the key!

That's a minimum six months away, in any European country. The people await the court case.

Most likely they will as he is associated with rightwing. There was c case no long ago that some dude done the same if not worse (i.e. persons died) and was send home with just a verbal warning from a judge. Hey but he is left wing.

Talking about the need to burn to the ground and rebuild from scratch Polish judiciary system.

Don`t ben silly. The only reform that PiS is able to implement in the judiciary system is to remove all previous judges, including the new ones from the last 30 years and replace them with the ones loyal to PiS. They need their own judges for such cases like the above mentioned with PiS guys involved.

that some dude done the same if not worse (i.e. persons died) and was send home

As for the alleged accident after which the guilty driver was let off the hook, I don`t believe you coz you have a long history of lies and manipulations. You have to provide sources, darling.

If you can't provide more details than that... then I don't believe it happened (or you're leaving stuff out).

Probably he`s lying as usual.

Sure, but I'm not talking about PiS. I talking about what is needed for Poland to function effectively. Such a system and judges as they are is just a disgrace and an obstacle for Poland to take a proper place in the world and for people to prosper.

If you can't provide more details than that.

Here a problem I don't remember that dude's name. Once it'll came to me I will search the internet to bring some details for you.

I don`t believe you

You are PO supporter. I don't care what you think. You are clearly not a wise or sane person.

Childish comments all round. The facts are these. Until Poland is a fully accountable society, people will still get away with the most blatant of offences. This is a carbon copy of what happens in America, and we want none of it in Europe. In normal societies, to wit the UK, a politician can be sent to prison for asking her husband to say he was the driver in a speeding case. And anybody caught drink driving is bang to rights - well, unless they are Royalty of course:):)

This bloke is just some provincial - and deffo not royalty.

Such a system and judges as they are is just a disgrace and an obstacle for Poland

There are 10.000 judges in Poland. A few black sheep don`t represent the whole group. PiS reform is directed at one main aim - to have their own judges who might be of use in emergency, like lost elections, for example. This is happening now - the latest Senate election protests submitted by PiS will be dealt with by PIS judges. I wonder what they will say.

I don't care what you think. You are clearly not a wise or sane person.

Any intelligent decent person should care when other guys of the same qualities call them liars and manipulators. I called you one a few dozen times and you never ever have been able to prove I was wrong. That is why I am still calling you a compulsive liar, coz you lie even in the Polish Music thread when you post foreign bands, instead of Polish ones. hahaha

I asked you to provide sources for your claim about a leftist driver who got away with causing an accident.

you never ever have been able to prove I was wrong.

No, you need to prove your claim. Saying it doesn't make it so. I don't need to do a thing.

PiS reform

Yadda yadda wof wof Soviet dog in action. IF judicial system in Poland was OK nobody would support changes and Pis would have no chance to meddle. I'm not going to repeat myself the system is not working and need a change. People who are working there should be fired regardless of their personal qualities. It makes no difference.

No, you need to prove your claim. Saying it doesn't make it so. I don't need to do a thing.

hahaha I love your "logic" now. My claims are always based on plausible grounds - e.g,, I only ask you to provide sources for your falsities.

As you are again unable to do it, of course you know it proves I never cease to be right about you: liar, liar. :):)

People who are working there should be fired regardless of their personal qualities

Only a complete nutter could propose such a thing.

His new excuse is that he was targeted by political enemies...

inexact paraphrase: I was hunted down by (an assistant to a Euro MP) and his pictures were used by the media when, after being informed, the police stopped me in my car making a three minute drive to the garage... (not very exact but you get the jist of it).

"upolował mnie pracujący w Parlamencie Europejskim asystent pani poseł z Koalicji Europejskiej i jego zdjęciami posłużyły się media, gdy po doniesieniu na policję patrol zatrzymał mnie w aucie robiącego trzyminutowy objazd ulicami do garażu"

Nothing like following the law and realizing that even a three minute 'objazd ulicami' is illegal if you don't have a drivers license..... what a toooooool.

The whole thing suggests he didn`t make a good career with his radical pseudo catholicism. If he did, he would be able to afford a taxi and wouldn`t risk ruining his image.

I love your "logic" now.

Is not MY logic. You're simply talking nonsense as usual. Your claims are based on your views and your opinions. I don't care what you think because it is immaterial you aren't going to change, so I'm not going to waste my time to bring up sources. I might do it for maf thought.

I never cease to be right about you: liar, liar.

It only proves that you are using it as a slander and name calling. Are you Harry? If you keep doing it I'll consider it bulling and report you to the mods. So cool your heels.

Only a complete nutter could propose such a thing.

Just keep your lessons for students teach. Rather than make a fool of yourself and talk about things and issues you have no clue about.

His new excuse is that he was targeted by political enemies...

a typical ashole that shouldn't be in politicks, still left and PO people are even worse...

so I'm not going to waste my time to bring up sources. I might do it for maf thought.

OK, do it for maf, I don`t care. As long as you don`t provide sources for your false claims, you are a liar. Isn`t it simple? :):)

Are you Harry?

Sources, Iron! :):)

talk about things and issues you have no clue about.

Sources!

still left and PO people are even worse...

Sources, you pathetic liar!

If you keep doing it I'll consider it bulling and report you to the mods.

Stop those moronic threats and provide sources at last!

hahaha

you are a liar. Isn`t it simple?

As a diplomatic (and conflict adverse) American, I prefer 'mistaken'. I think he confused one or two stories and is conditioned to think the worst of.... certain people.

But I did a bit of googling (and searched the tvp info site) without finding any case that came anywhere close to his claims, so.... mistaken.

You can stay diplomatic if you prefer, but I prefer to be straighforward - he is a liar who repeatedly claims sth which isn`t true and later refuses to provide sources and even threatens people to report them to mods when they insist. Isn`t it pathetic behaviour???

He would be "mistaken" if it had happened once, or twice, no more. But he`s been doing it every week since the day we met in the PF 10 years ago. It is his obsession which I try to cure. hahaha
