According to figures from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) relating to couples married in Poland itself, over 4,000 Poles married foreigners in 2014. Almost 3,000 of these couples involved a Polish bride and a foreign groom. 603 of the husbands were British, while there were 342 German grooms and 211 Italian ones. Although most of the marriages between Polish women and foreigners were with EU citizens, there were also unions with citizens of more distant countries, including Mauritius, Togo, Uganda and Gambia. Over 1,000 Polish men married foreigners on Polish soil in 2014 (almost three times less than Polish women). Of these, Polish men most frequently married Ukrainians (505), Russians (140) and Belarusians (118).
And that is NOT including marriages that took place outside Poland, which are several times more than marriages in Poland (as mentioned in the same article).
Most of those marriages are sham marriages. A polish woman that marries an arab or whatever for some money so he can have residency in Poland.
Also there are those deluded polish girls that don't even charge, but just believe in the promises of those same arabs. After the guy have permanent residency he just kicks her out :)
I daresay some of these happy unions have a passport at the end of the line, but to say 'most' and then start seething about "Arabs" (wherever they come from, not sure) shows that you are not really interested in the topic in question, just using it as a vehicle for your hatred.
+1. In fact the OP reports that most of the marriages are with other EU citizens, so it is self-evident that the majority of such unions have nothing to do with passports, or Arabs.
+2 And I would suspect that most marriages between people from Poland and from the Arab world (not that there are many according to those figures) are perfectly respectable.
In my homecountry (Brazil) there are a lot of Poles that married locals. When i go to warsaw usually there is a significant amount of woman at the flight with their husbands visiting the husband family in Poland.
I think that this is pretty good since improves the gene pool of Brazil and the Poles are usually hardworking and law abiding.
It was already written here. Looks like in Poland we mainly marry Eastern European women.

Polish guys doesn't have anything special to make them desirable but Polish girls are freaking hot! And stop your jealousy and let others taste the Polish fruits :-)
Stop this "Polish men are not desirable" lies... That is simply untrue. I've lived in Poland for a while and I think they are very handsome. I'm a 20 year old British woman and when my friends visit me in Poland they also notice that they are very special and I think they are overlooked because of bad, outdated stereotypes. I think a lot of men are jealous of Polish men ^.^
Wulkan - it is so obvious to me. Also, when I posted my positive opinion about Polish men on a Polish forum, a British man has to insult my level of English which is ridiculous considering this forum has a number of posters who speak English as a second language, including me.
First you said you're British, then Welsh (the two are not of course incompatible), then you said English is your second language (almost all Welsh speakers under a certain age are bilingual and in any case the transference errors you make are not consistent with being a native speaker of Welsh). And then say you're a 20 year old female from Britain.whose friends visit her in Poland.
While perhaps not looking for a crosscultural marriage (the topic of this thread) your take on Polish men doesn't bear that much scrutiny. Yes, there are some good ones, but there are far more who are emotionally needy, socially inhibited, tied to the apron strings and/or on the make.
Also a 20 year old boy, not nowadays in the marriage market is one thing. His beer bellied older brother of 30 is quite another.

I'm of Italian descent and my parents are from Toscana and we spoke Italian at home and I attended a Welsh speaking primary and secondary school near Cardiff where I left at 16 to move to Poland with my fiancé and now we live together in Warsaw with our Chihuahua called Titan. I also speak Spanish and French and a tiny bit of Polish. Are you happy now?

Any cross cultural marriage is good news, it broadens the horizons of both spouses and that of their children. True, it is often harder to make such marriages succeed compared to monocultural marriages, but on the whole its benefits the gene pool and humanity. Reduction ab absurdum, just look at what happens when the opposite is pushed to its logical limit, ie inbreeding
Welsh is a great language for giving commands to the dog, I must say. Ci drwg!! (kee droog) = bad dog, so much more satisfying to shout. as for Polish-foreign marriages,...don't see so many of those round ere...
