The pressure to change from zloty to Euro(if it survives) will be soon so that domination can be complete.
Emperess Merkel has to dominate as it is the only way to keep such a diverse number of countries under her thumb.
The only difference is that the Russians used Tanks-she uses fiscal means.Which has the same outcome in the end.
So either start the German lessons or rid yourselves of Tusk. There may still be time.

A collapse of Europe's monetary union would likely lead to a breakup of the European Union as a whole, posing significant risks to the region and even raising the possibility of war in the long term, Poland's Finance Minister told CNBC late on Thursday.

A collapse of Europe's monetary union would likely lead to a breakup of the European Union as a whole, posing significant risks to the region and even raising the possibility of war in the long term, Poland's Finance Minister told CNBC late on Thursday.

A tramway pass in the center of Warsaw on June 8, 2011. Poland and Ukraine will co-host the 2012 European Football Championship.

"If the euro zone were to fall apart then it's hard to exclude the possibility of EU falling apart as well," Polish finance minister Jacek Rostowski said in an interview.

"The EU has been one of the two great pillars of European peace and security of the past 60 years," he said.

What will happen to currencies if the Euro collapses?

Full Collapse

Simply put, the Eurozone would revert to what it was before the Euro existed. The European Central Bank would have to return all of its gold to the member States in proportion to their initial contributions. Their old currencies would have to be resurrected and Euro reserves converted back to the mix passed to the European Central banks from the beginning of the Eurozone.

Dollar & [or if by then the Yuan was internationalized] Yuan reserves would be built up again to replace the lost Euro reserves. The world's Foreign Exchange Markets would be in chaos. Confidence in most if not all currencies would almost disappear. By extension the ripple effect through the economies of the world and business in general, would be destructive. There would be a huge scramble for all hard assets, but particularly precious metals. Briefly the U.S. Dollar would reign as king.

Do not believe everything that the Polish Minister of Finance says-he only stays to the party line.
Who is going to start a war if everyone has no money?-just scaremongering tactics.
Of course, the Turks may have a devious plan..........

People look at mechanisms, I look at agendas. If I am to believe reputable sources, the Euro's path is predestined. Currency is set to change its form in the future. Poland, just like GB, has every right to retain its PLN.

You believe in astrology then-or perhaps the will of God.I doubt if anyone has a hotline to there!
I think you are rather naive if you think Merkel will let you keep the zloty-all of Greater Germany must be uniform-or else!!!

Britain has retained the GBP so why can't Poland retain their PLN? It's not Merkel's decision!

Yea but Britain is and has been independent, economically doesn't need the euro or the EU. Poland is still a relatively poor country which relives heavily on foreign investment and trade, especially with EU countries. Plus I think people who are in control of the EU and it's budget (Germans) kind of put pressure on Poland and guilt to give back and be obedient for the funds it receives.

if poland opts to keep the zl, then it has more control over inflation, simple fact is that germany has nightmares about inflation and that is what it is trying to control. That is why they do not want to do eurobonds

The Zloty is doing good keep it. Poland's economy and prices shouldn't be affected by the situation in other countries. If Tusk will be still in power when they decide what to do, he'll most definitely be for the Euro.

The game is being played this way, Germany makes loans to countries in their trade area than they call in the loans when it is their advantage. They say either change to what we want or we will loan you no more money. THEY CONTROL THE OTHER COUNTRIES THROUGH DEBT. They won't allow the ECB to take the lead because they will lose power.

Britain has everything to lose and nothing to gain by being in the Euro zone or what ever you call it. I expect that Denmark and Sweden will follow Britains lead (if they have a half a brain).

Poland needs to learn how to be independent. The Polish elite do not represent the best interests of Poland.

I would rather be Germanized then PiS- onized- trust me. We already have a German family member married to one of my relatives, so I am taking German, because he is learning Polish -although we can speak English.

What was I doing in Berlin? Went to X-mas market, because there are none where I live.

Domination can be very insidious. How many Polish companies are owned,or part owned by German companies. They are in Poland now on the railways, both freight and passenger pushing PKP out of the picture a little at a time.Do they have an interest in LOT?-Maybe.The German Banks and investment companies are moving in to control the money.Where possible they take over farmland.Just think about it-they are getting into all ways of Polish life, and you do nothing. What has happened to the Polish Eagle.

So yes,I think you are slowly being dominated, but are frightened to see it!

THEY CONTROL THE OTHER COUNTRIES THROUGH DEBT.

This is a by product.Germans would prefer to get their money back than exercising control.

You want foreign investors, you want their money, but you don't want them to have any control over their investment? Sorry to disappoint you, but capitalism doesn't work that way.

Well it does seem like the EU exists only to bail out these failing PIIG countries. Maybe that is why it was created in the first place? The strong takes care of the weak.

Sounds good to me. US economy is in a **** hole itself right now. The people (we all know who) in the Federal Reserve Bank are doing everything they can im guessing. The Feds popularity is probably at an all time low only 30-35percent of Americans see it as good. Europe needs to be Europe... its best not to copy America.

you seem to find the connection. its kind of aquisation. the southern countries are called on the big tafel and after some time, when being in debts, the merkoyz comes to 'help'...in fact to take them over and make them dependent.

if eu falls apart, those strings stay.

no. Germany is like a w****. In one moment one can feel sorry for her destine but then you found how is w**** actually calculated nymphomaniac who exactly know what she doing. In that case Poland should be seen as a man who giving its best to satisfy k***a, what is mission impossible, as we all know.

So it's Germany taking over countries without actually invading them. I wonder when Germany will bail out Great Britain?
