Walked today through Starówka here in Warsaw and at Plac Zamkowy there was a demonstration going on from some outfit "Nowa Prawica". Anyboard heard of them?

Just found out it is Korwin-Mikke.

So I missed a chance to see him live on stage :) To be honest for this kind of demonstration there were very few police around...I guess they also thought it was a waste of their time :)

Janusz Korwin-Mikke is not an idiot. He established KPN party in 80's. He did not change his beliefs since that time. Don't ignore him.

Don't ignore him

Why not? The voters do.

Janusz Korwin-Mikke is not an idiot.

He is not an idiot but he recently said something extremely idiotic about disabled people. In fact he sounded like a Nazi.

Don't ignore him

Good advice. People who say things like that should never be ignored. Just watched. Carefully.
Has he retracted his comments?

My cousin is heavily involved in this party.
She volunteers to drum up votes for Janusz Korwin-Mikke and apparently spends a lot of time arguing with people.
She's 21 years old and lives in Radom.
What off-hand conclusions can be drawn from that?

This is clearly an avant-garde of neo-Bolshevism, this time masked, like always morons do for the use of even more retarded fools, as newfangled icons of the right - i.e. they want to be seen as the scions of the famous Thatcher Reagan couple.

Isn't Janusz Korwin-Mikke the guy who wants Poland to be ethnical clean ? Something about the muslims taking over Germany and French, because of the high birth rate. I think it was him.

Well, he also said women's place is at the cooker, that para- olympics have the same right of existing as the chess contest for mentally disabled and many other "wisdoms". He tries to get into real politics but quite frankly most of the time he is just clown.

A clown is the right description. Do you remember when he stabbed himself and told the media it was done by a mystery Chinese assailant.

Right-winged assho*** like him and those idiots who ruins the national day by destroying Warsaw should be locked up.

... those idiots who ruins the national day by destroying Warsaw should be locked up.

Locked up? but where? Some time ago he was a TV celebrity, virtually locked up in a TV studio -- verily the right-winged prophet accepted in his own country.

Chess contests for mentally disabled? That's horrible and funny.

Locked up? but where?

In his case a mental hospital would be a good bet, which was where his fellow extremist Leszek Bubel ended up.

In this case though, Archyski was referring to the mob of hooligans who have lately tried to hijack the Independence Day celebrations in order to generate maximum disruption.

It is a great party, it has its roots in the very strong patriotic circles and it is giving Polish people the new hope, however, Korwin Mikke is somewhat dubious character, he proposed something of a fantasy that he will break up the European Union. It is a good idea but Poland by itself will not be able to do that, I wish we could though. However, he has other good ideas, I just hope that he is not the imposter like many others, what works in his favour is that he kept to one side of politics for decades, right from his beginnings, so he doesn't change colours when it is fashionable, that makes him a little bit more credible than most of the others out there in Polish politics.

Being patriotic and a racist, doesn't have to go hand by hand.

I don't know much about his career, but hasn't he always been in the opposition ? That maybe explains why he doesn't change colours, yet....

Being patriotic and a racist, doesn't have to go hand by hand.

Seems to me you are debating with yourself. What wrong with being a proud racist?

A clown is the right description.

He is more of a political preformer than a politcian.

I have to agree with Lenka here even though I support his party, he is a clown and his some of his ideas are off this planet much like Kaczynski's. His party is a great idea but I would not trust him, we do not have proper leaders in our country, they are either incompetent or traitors, we do not have real patriots in the government.

No he is not a clown but he is not a leader. He is not even a politician,

a political preformer

He doesn't 'preform' anything. All he really does is make a disgrace of himself. Like the stabbing incident.

Ron Poul and Janusz Korwin-Mikke. Both fine gentlemen from two different countries share the same refined tastes and political views and should be talked a lot more than they currently are, so without further ado here is the less known Mr Janusz Korwin-Mikke holder of the Korwin crest

1

from the glorious Wielka Rzeczpospopolita Polska.

2

Fighting the commies

Will bring order to the Jewrope

Knows what is good in life

A family man Poland politician

A true Polish patriot that fights for freedom and prosperity

"Less known"?? He's considerably better known here. And laughed at.

Ron Poul and Janusz Korwin-Mikke.

Did this Poul person also stab himself in a restaurant toilet and pretend it was the work of a mystery Chinese assailant?

No, you are right, women's place is not exclusively in the kitchen, after she is finished in the kitchen there is also the bathroom to clean and bedroom to prepare for goodnight lovemaking.

I disagree with him on that but some women today do not know how to cook, come on, Korwin Mikke should change his rhetoric slightly and he may be the ambassador for women taking up cooking classes, it will be very useful.

some women today do not know how to cook,

Well nothing stops men from learning how to cook...

bedroom to prepare for goodnight lovemaking.

My grandpa used to said that if you want to have eager and willing wife during the night you have to help her during the day...

Well nothing stops men from learning how to cook...

As far as I know, ability (or desire) to cook has nothing to do with gender.
Lenka  5 | 3501
23 Apr 2014 /  #28
I know that's why I don't understand why it's acceptable for so many men not being able to cook while if women can't cook it's something wrong. I can cook but learnt when I needed/ wanted to learn. If I still couldn't that would be only my buisness.

No, nothing stops men from cooking but there is something feminine in seeing a woman do it, much like woman knitting or sawing, these are all tasks that men can also perform but when women perform these they seem more feminine. It is the same when men is able to fix something in a house or knows about cars or is athletic and does sports. Weird but it works that way

Your grandpa was right but he should have added some stuff about short cuts and tricks for us men, there are some good ones.

but there is something feminine in seeing a woman do it

You mean you associate it with women.

much like woman knitting or sawing,

Nothing to stop a man knitting or a woman picking up a saw and sawing wood. Or metal.

It is the same when men is able to fix something in a house or knows about cars or is athletic and does sports

Plenty of women can do that. Some of them even dare to play sports.

they seem more feminine

You mean they seem less threatening to you.
