Polish cleaner blows the lid on 'dirty' Germans

As for this lady writing this book about "dirty Germans", it could be based on sour grapes and a grudge she has against Germans. The book is based on her opinion. I'm sure there are some biases she has.

That's the same genre as "The Nanny Diaries": some observations are accurate, some funny and some are pure BS.

I like to play with the unfair generalisations and stereotypes.
And I can think about some negative stereotypes about the Germans.
But the "dirty German"? Nah. It's definitely untrue.

I don't care who you are, if you CHOOSE to live in a country, you should not complain about it and if you do, you should LEAVE IT.

You maybe don't mean it as literally as this but I certainly wouldn't necessarily agree with the above.

Why shouldn't someone complain about e.g. poor treatment, conditions, poor employers, being denied rights etc? If they are living and working legally and are the victim of injustice then they have as much right to complain as anybody - possibly more than many.

This is not a direct reference to the cleaner on this thread by the way, just a general comment.

If on the other hand they whine and complain about cultural differences, customs, food etc despite persisting in living there then fair enough - pi$$ off and don't come back or shut your ungrateful leeching mouth: )

Interesting how you reach 123 comments discussing 'cleaning' as the starter who is superior and inferior in Polish-German relationships. :-)
