Beata Szydło - the best Polish politician, world's politicians could learn from her

Beata Szydło a former Prime Minister of Poland (now a Deputy Prime Minister) has been by far the best Polish politician known to current Polish generations. She represented Poland with a balanced approach that combined tough stance on EU regulations that threatened Polish sovereignty with elegant style of presenting her views succinctly and always with the welfare of Polish people in mind. Her best achievements:

1. Introduction of monthly payments support package of 500+ for families with two or more children or single child families (subject to special conditions)
2. Incorporation into the educational public sphere Catholic principles

So why has she been dismissed from the post of Prime Minister to the post of Deputy Prime Minister if she is as brilliant as you say?

Corrupted politicians, Morawiecki is another Walesa.

And why some are greedy for power?

Yes, why? First Beata was Prime Minister, so she was greedy for power. Now Mateusz is Prime Minister, so he is greedy for power. Both of them are greedy for power then.

Beata Szydlo's attained this position through a long and progressive climb, whereas Morawiecki is a lizaj dupa (whoever wants to can translate, Polish not English forum after all). See the difference?

I do at this time! We already have great social programs that will still be led by Beata Szydło (she's great with that) and now we need a proper management. I think Morawiecki is a great manager.

Morawiecki is a great manager.

I'm sceptical about Morawiecki. Some say he was appointed for the image's sake, so that agenda can shift more towards business side of things and PiS will appear as meaning to take control of trade matters. However, Morawiecki does not appear as politician who can debate well with Westerners, the way Szydlo could. He seems more of a bum licker. PiS could have kept Szydlo at the front and still use Morawiecki's ideas. Both have commerce backgrounds. This decision is not well thought of by PiS.

lizaj dupa (whoever wants to can translate,

an 4ss licker, a kiss 4ss, an 4ss kisser would be the most common in the US. Slightly less crude would be 'brown noser" or "kiss up"

the best Polish expression is włazidup

Bias and so many assumptions lol. Facts are: he's better educated and more experienced in finances/economics than any other Polish PM in like a decade. He can debate with foreign leaders in their own language.

This decision is not well thought of by PiS.

And another biased assumption.

Both forms exist (I've actually heard włazidup more often) maybe it's you who don't know so much about Poland, ponimayesh?

I expected more from sestra Beata.

Our Dear Leader Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński has just announced in a short interview for TVP3 channel that one excellent prime minister (sestra Beata) has been replaced by another excellent prime minister (brat Mateusz).

So why has Morawiecki been promoted to the post of Prime Minister?

Because JK needs to back down on some of his virulently anti-EU stuff without losing face. Changing PM is the only way to do that. Did you notice how Morawiecki said that Poland will now respect the EU ruling regarding logging even on the same day as the Minister for the Environment says the opposite??? JK is worried that public opinion will begin to turn against PIS if Poland starts having to pay fines etc. He's also very worried by the recent resolution which began the process of triggering Article 7. He reckons Morawiecki has the experience and understanding of the 'western' way of thinking which will enable him to negotiate more effectively with the EU and try to get relations back on a better footing.

Only yesterday Verhofstadt urged his fellow MEPs to hurry up and get the proposal finished in order to get on with the next stage of Article 7. That was in response to the fine levied on TVN. There is no doubt that a lot of lobbying is being done behind the scenes in the European Parliament to get everyone on board with that unanimous vote needed to effectively disable Poland. PIS is foolish indeed to rely on Orban. He will serve his own interests in the end and his interests are best served by continuing to milk the EU for everything he can get. He likes to keep a foot in both camps but if it comes down to it, he will side with his fellow MEPs especially if the other Slavic nations vote for sanctions/suspended voting rights in the same way as they voted in favour of the resolution regarding rule of law.

Very astute. The thing that helps me understand modern politics more than anything else was my time years ago as a (moderate) fan of professional wrestling.

This is LK doing a face turn for the EU, he's hoping that Morawiecki can get himself over in Brussels and put him over too. He's assuming that the marks will go for it (PiS enthusiasts have lots of experience of sudden about faces). He's probably looking for a new main heel to take Tusk's place.

It's only confusing if you forget it's wrestling....

Schulz would be that guy, and most likely will be that guy if the coalition talks are successful.

That's worrying because I really hate his self-righteous smugness and his daffy plan for a federalized United States of Europe (one seat at the UN? one olympiic team?)

I suspect that he would be a German JK an unreliable partner who's constantly trying to renegotiate more power for himself....

The only point of policy I agree with PiS about is the migrant refusal but I could also get behind a good dose of Schulzophobic hate....

Schulz is just another Zionist who views Europeans as goys who should be turned into a mass union of mindless far leftist consumers. Screw him. The things he's said.. just wow... just another zion firster looking to undermine all the different European countries sovereignty and independence

Not sure where you're getting that from, given that he is a devout Catholic, has attended mass with the Pope and attended Catholic schools as a child.

Evangelical Catholics are Zionists as well. You don't need to be a jew to be a zionist.

In the US Evangelical Christians (protestants) are the biggest Zionists overall more so than most Jews. Of course it's for different reasons since they're trying to actively fulfill biblical prophecy about Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

I am regretful to Christ and to His beloved Mother that they blessed me with love and devotion to my ancestral Svetovid. No matter Catholic, Orthodox or Protestant Slavs (ie Sarmats), all should open at least little part of their souls to Svetovid. Its Our. We should keep it and preserve it.

Please get back to the topic

@NoToForeigners

My assumptions may be biased but correct. Morawiecki is not better educated (I do not know where you go that from - Beata Szydlo has attended numerous universities and has, in the past, undertaken a doctorate studies). Morawiecki may know more about finances and your point is? Better economists save countries or is it a combination of good economist, historian, thinker, analyst, communicator, strategist negotiator and so on? Beata Szydlo is also an economist (She graduated from trade school) and so what? Economist does not need to be a prime minister or rather a good leader does not need to be a good economist. Your points of view are funny. I say Morawiecki is a bum licker who will just like Jeffrey Sachs help sell Poland out to USA.
