The soldier who was attacked first was Joseph L. not Joshua P. I don't know what race is Joseph L. but it clearly shows that the reason of attack was not the Korean roots or different race of Joshua P. Joshua P according to the article got involved in the brawl when both Joseph L. and one of the borthers Ż. were told to leave the club by the security.

Then Joshua P. took out his mobile phone to call for help but one of the bothers Ż. grabbed it and tried to run away. Joshua and Joseph kept after him but they fell down, then the brothers beat them up.

One of the American soldiers had Korean roots. So yes that probably was it, he (maybe even his other army buddy also) didn't look white or local. But Harry in Poland it's verry easy to catch an ass whoopin. Um.... you're from a different neighborhood, you look at a girl another guy finds attractive, some idiot just feels like starting because he's having a bad day. fcuk- of course it is! I wondered if the soldiers were black based on my experience. There are a lot of blacks in the military- it is not racist to say that- and it is certainly not racist to think that a bunch of army guys got beat up based on their ethnicity. this is nothing shocking for Poland. It is not the worlds most tolerable country when it comes to ethnicity- particularly in smaller cities. I have seen racism in this country so give me a fcuking break.

Getting beat up just for looking at a woman? There must be more to it than that. The state department warns Americans to keep a low profile while out in public overseas.
