Are there Polish women who date black guys?

Theater, art, music, architecture, fine cuisine? some of the best example of the aformentioned have been created by white people..

These are not identified as a white "cultural" artifact though. Polish culture, French culture, Catholic culture, Jewish culture...sure. People don't identify these things you list as "white culture" but rather credit other sources of inspiration.

My favorite film last year was the movie Hunger...made by a gentleman born in London...about the Irish Hunger Strike. I identify that as part of Irish-UK culture but the director is black.

And fine cuisine? Come on. You have mostly Polish/Irish/UK people posting here and none of your cuisine is really all that. The best food to come out of the UK isn't even close to being from a "white" origin (talking Indo/Paki).

When you say a black person, so you mean someone who has been here for several generations who works and lives in a nice area then maybe but if you mean someone who has arrived in the UK in recent years, then I would say no.

Compared to someone who is white but has only been in the UK for a couple months? Immigrants are immigrants regardless of skin color and they will have their own world views making them extremely foreign to the native population. Yes, someone who is black and, let's say, from the US will be very different, but from what you know about Polish folk, do you think they will be that much more like yourself? That's what I mean by culture. Skin color has very little to do with it.

Most breeds of dogs have gone to pot simply because they have been bred from an asthetic point of view and not really cared to think about the genetic point of view since breeders are not scientists.

And that's different from how people behave...how? Most people I know who are "I only date white/polish/non-polish" people are not exactly scientists. Nor should they be! I'm just saying let people be and if they're happy, be happy for them. It's hard enough to find the right person nowadays and to limit your options seems imprudent.

I agree it's becoming cumbersome, but I still enjoy it. Helps me to analyze my position better. Won't hold it against you if you stop responding or only choose certain points to respond to. I won't have the time I have now to write forever so my responses will eventually trail off and my presence on this forum will fall to a trickle.

Agreed. And now I have to respond to ShelleyS too! This may be my last post on this matter (I get to PF only once a week or so) but I appreciate the conversation. I will probably not convince you otherwise and you will likely not convince me but if the discussion gives people things to think about, I think it was worthwhile.

Changing races is not cosmetic surgery. Race includes your DNA.

But that's part of the future of "cosmetic" medicine. It's been ages since I studied Cell and Structural Biology in undergrad but I'm talking about genetic manipulation. If, let's say, an Asian couple genetically modify their offspring to take on largely white characteristics...different skin tone, eyes, hair. I think this portion of the conversation has gone off track a bit, though.

The culture is a by-product of the genetic make up the population.

Sure. I'll comment on the portion concerning culture. The "other" for a very long time has been other white cultures which can be extremely different and often hostile to each other. Culturally, do Germans and Polish have much in common? To some, no. But someone who knows a lot of Polish folks would likely be a little sensitive to equate the two. So a lot of these cultural artifacts that Europe, in particular, has developed has not been born of the concept that the other is "not white" but rather not French/German/Polish/etc. The other as not white is a more recent convention and has less to show for itself, imho.

Not that the mixing of two cultures is a bad thing from my point of view. I love that there are Korean Burrito trucks driving around LA and getting raves. There's so many odd and wonderful things out there (and terrible, yes, there's plenty of bad with the good, white or non-white though), I hate seeing anyone shut them out.

I see it more as a Pat Buchanan/non-interventionist/conservative stance. Or, if you would like to look at it from a macro/breeding/populations angle then I think of it as regular evolution of the human race. If white/black/other skin colors are different but no better than the other then, to me, the mixing of the races is fine. If you want to look at it from a social/cultural angle, it's already a losing battle since modern white culture borrows more from other cultures anyways (I'm referring to the folks who rail against "kids and their hip hop music" and the like...).

But, to me, people should do what they like as long as it doesn't hurt other people. It's a lot more complicated than that, of course, but it's been good to discuss this.

I would say all classical composers in the west are white, in fact black and asians did not compose classical music, therefore it is culturally a white european thing, all painters in the west were white, therefore it is culturally a white thing, how many paintings by any of the famous painters have black people as their subjects? Regarding architecture, whilst the Egypians were masters, they died out, now you give me 1000 examples of fine architecture in Africa and the same again in Southern asia? It simply does not exist.

Compared to someone who is white but has only been in the UK for a couple months?

I beg to differ, Europeans share similar values and "culture" if you like, no honor killings or female mutiliation in Poland, Africans and Asians bring their own culture to the UK which bares no resemblance to my way of thinking or upbringing.

My favorite film last year was the movie Hunger...made by a gentleman born in London...about the Irish Hunger Strike.

It's easy to write when you have the right material, he could have been green and still written the same. Terry George co-wrote and directed Hotel Rwanda and he's Irish and born in Ireland so nothing to do with culture or colour.

And fine cuisine? Come on. You have mostly Polish/Irish/UK people posting here and none of your cuisine is really all that.

That's a matter of taste and what do you know about Polish/Irish and British food? My point was really about cuisine in Europe...not just the aformentioned countries, by the way indo/paki food wouldn't be all that had the chilli not been introduced to them by the Portuguese ;0)

hmm I saw a polish girl with a black guy at polish church last sunday.

That kind of scares me. I was thinking of having a church wedding in Poland and to baptize our 6-month old twins there as well. My wife is Jamaican and we live in Florida where the "melting pot" seems to becoming a standard.

One should remember that many Poles (esp. in smaller cities/villages) have never seen a black person in real life. This is not an excuse for being a racist, but it can explain why some people stare.

WHY is this a topic? What effing difference does it make? Some Polish girls would not date Black guys and some would. Some Black guys would never date a Polish girl...and some would...Why is this a topic? People are people...they do what they want forget what either side has to say about it.

I'm Polish and live in NYC. I was dating dark Brazilian and he was one of the funniest ppl i know. Since I grew up in Poland and in US I don't hang out much with Polish (i just live and work in non-Polish areas), I didn't know what to expect from my ppl - would they accept it or not. My observation is that girls tend to be more tolerant, guys are more jealous for their polish girls. In very Polish communities, such a couple drives a lot of attention (but, similarly I felt being the only one white person among Blacks). I asked my Polish friend who lives in Polish neighborhood about it. He said: "Naaah, Polish girl and Black guy is so on on the street!" - well, I guess we are changing=]

Unfortunately, I cannot say anything about how it is in Poland - but, now I'm curious too!

i woyuld just like to say that when it caame to the vodka drinking, i certainly held my own!!! haha

however, i did get the odd stare but hey when your the only black guy in town and probably the only one to have passed through in a while i would stare too.

Hmm first i have heard that one, but since i live in England, we use black British. besides, i do not have an afro haha,i keep my hair short and tidy.

You're such a materialistic creature.

materialistic - you do not even know me, maybe i am, maybe i just have a passion for BMWs and cold tell you a lot about the history of BMW up to today or i just can simply afford to buy one. :). do not judge before you get to know someone, a lesson well learned by myself in business, shows bad character and ill-thought. i will assume, you use the word 'creature' in an intelligent and generic way.

I was only joking. Lemme explain the way I post as it's a bit different than the rest. If I put a smiley one or two lines below a remark, this means that I make a joke. That it's not seriously meant. I also have some other trademarks, but they are not relevant to this explanation. Hope you understand now?

Is there Polish women that date black guys?

I'm sure there must be some Polish women that do date black men. I've seen a few Polish women at the Polish church, with mulatto children. Strange thing, I very seldom ever see the black daddy there, with the rest of their family.

Yes,polish girls are crazy.Even in Greece I see polish women with mulatto children. While so nice balkan men are available they prefer again the rubbish.

A strange attraction to the hole.I hope Poland does not become the mulatto land.

Hmm, i'm quite sure i said i bought. As SzwedwPolsce states, some people do work. just to rub it in even more, because i assume you are jealous and possibly will never own a nice car, i am only 22. Yes i suppose life can be good for some despite their colour. although, i do work very hard and so can afford to be as one said, 'materalistic', on the other hand, i do have a passion for BMWs.

i was only joking too hence, 'haha'. :)

Haha who said anything about working for a law firm my business earns more money trhan aany law firm could pay me. Yes i aam a law graduate with a (2:1 Hons) and currently training part time as a barrister at MMU BVC look it up. Just to clarify when i say my business i am referring to my father's business. i only ever studied law to gain skills which are easily transferable to the family business. Although, you are right competition is fierce in manchetsr for TCs Training Contracts and pupillage for those who wish to become a barrister. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on what side of the fence one is on, it is who you know and what you know that gets you into the legal realm and gain job security.

the way i see it nothing is better thaan being your own boss, the sky is the limit and i have fun day in day out and experiences one could never get from 3 years completing an LLB or even BVC.

No,polish girls told me they like blacks because some of them are loaded with money(till the top of the head as one showed me)

This is true for some woman Polish or not but doesn't matter if it is a black man or not.
My view on this matter which in fact i have spoke with my father about before, is this....

if a maaan has gained aa certaain statues of wealth black or white or aaany other colour, it is apaart of who he is. thus, if a woman wishes to be with a maan because of his wealth then so be it, he probably knows this is the case anyway. No one else can take away his ability to make money, that's apart of who he is simple as that just as beauty or good looks is apart of any other man or woman.

the day, if there is such a day, that he becomes less well off and expects that woman to be staying around then what a fool he is.

articles?

it is no longer called articles, they are called traaaining contraacts, you maaaybe showing your aaage there :)

I didn't know that word 'mulatto' is offensive as it's saying in dictionary:

mulatto noun
/məˈlæt.əʊ/, /mjuː-//-ˈlæ.t ̬oʊ/ n [C]
an offensive word for someone with one black parent and one white parent

my girlfriend sometimes uses this term so I thought nothing wrong with it...

Yes but it is only a word. Half cast was once acceptable but due to politcaal correctness one should use 'mixed race'

Not really, its the same difference, to those who have friends and family who have been solicitors very long time tend to refer to it as it was.

Blimey where did you learn to spell?

i aam a law graduate with a (2:1 Hons)

Thats nothing to be proud of!

you are right competition is fierce in manchetsr for TCs Training Contracts and pupillage for those who wish to become a barrister.

(TC? Terms and Conditions? - using acronyms doesnt make you look smart!)

if a maaan has gained aa certaain statues of wealth black or white or aaany other colour, it is apaart of who he is.

The above I can agree with until the point where you mention the word "women" after that it goes down hill, because, you are almost admitting she is with your purely for your wealth and nothing more. But I must ask you a question, do you have speech impediment..only the over use of "a" seems to point towards this.

The way you are writing you sound like some Moss Side loser :( Get a grip, Im sure your father would be rather unimpressed!
