Toe to toe with me. He is a Great Black Man. We have children and they are strong. We call them Black/Polish.
Becuse both cultures are great. Black's and Polish are always being put down..
Mose Blacks Men like Polish Women becuse they have something in common, but they do not know what it is (until they fall in love). Polish women are always with there man. Just do not Hurt Us.

As a foreign married and divorced to a Polish woman.......

Short answer is you can't

Long answer is;

Be respectful to her parents,
Go to parties held by her friends even if they they are very boring, same applies to dancing,
Go to bed when she does, dont spend all night watching dvds or surfing pûrn,
Don't play computer games at all (except for nintendo wii and then play only very sparringly),
Go shoe shopping with her, it will be painful but endure.
Same applies for cloth shopping and household furniture
It is ok to go drinking with the boys as long she can do the same
When watching a movie let her choose and endure the chick flick,
Wedding planning - let her plan everything, expect her to invite her extended family and friends, you will get 10-20% of the places to fill up, use these carefully

If she makes fun of her religion, don't follow and NEVER EVER CRITCISE THE POPE (the Polish one I mean, it is ok to say what you like about Ratzinger)

Same applies about her home country but does not apply about your country at all
If you are lucky and she gets pregnant, she will be in control, so will be her mother, any sisters, and female friends. You will barely register any inflence

As a young mother she will retain control, your job now is to carry things and put up with any comments she makes. He views (for example small children 'need' wooly hats in the middle of the summer) will out rank yours

In public back her up if she is in the wrong even if that makes you look foolish, it is far more preferable to the rage you will have to endure later

What you earn is for the family. What she earns is for herself. So remember this when she is buying shoes or ridiculous over priced cosmetics

I am sure with your experience , next time you will be more successful . I always wonder why you guys can`t find the best girl for yourself . There is always a lot of time before marriage to check things out .

Always keep in mind that it is not allowed to criticize Polish life or people by foreigner , polish people are very sensitive about this . Try to be more understanding and flexible . Family is important, so be nice to them and never show boredom with them , even if you are bored . Don`t compete with your polish wife but be more assertive . The proper communication is the key for success.

Except for making fun of Polish pope, it pretty much describes every wife on this planet, IMHO
