You are rethinking the relationship with your girlfriend because of her sister?

HER SISTER?

I Think that i just lost the rest of the hope that i had in humankind.

I and i really feel pity for this girl to have a boyfriend like you.

My god that is awful. If you are really so shallow and care more about what your family's outdated view is, then this is not the girl for you. Hopefully she can find someone sincere to love her.

Remind me what century we're in again please?! If it was her on the game I'd recommend staying well away, once a ***** always a *****. However, it's her sister..I don't understand the problem.

Thanks for a good laugh though ;)

The Reb's advise to you.
First it sounds like you are still attached to your mom's umbilicus cord.
You need to cut that before even thinking of getting marreid.
Man up and stand your ground.
Then pick up the Hand Book of Life when you have such quandaries.
In this case open it to Matthew 10:5-6.
Your answer lies there.
If Daddy & Mommy still insist on instilling their guilt trip on you and expect you to live up to their expectations instead of letting you live your own life instead of theirs.............move to Australia with your new wife and live happily ever after so they can't make your life a hell on earth.

That will be $50 USD for your therapy session today. :-)

Marriage is about family, in this case two different faimiles coming together and a new family emerging in the process. No-one marries just a single person, although conceivably a couple could run off and spend the rest of their life in a strange country or on a desert island. Normally the marrying couple inherit inlaws and family friends so it's best when there is some general consensus as to priorities, values, traditions and child-rearing. If not, there will be battles at every turn of the way. And here's a little piece of advice for the menfolk: remember, more likely than not your beautiful young bride will someday look and act much like her mother does at present. Is that someone you'd like to spend the rest of your days with?

Jaky, you're marrying her, not her family. Something tells me that you'd be scrutinising them whatever they were like, but really, if her sister wants to make a bit of money, so what? She doesn't need tour position. What if they were wealthy farmers? Would you be as snotty at them coping up then killing animals (far worse than stripping or tomming) or would you respect their money?

If you dump her, she's probably fortunate. If you don't, forget her family. After all, things can easily change and they may well be looking down on yours one day.

I would dump her just in case. Lots of other girls from decent families are waiting to get married. She is not a snowflake.
Marriage is not love and butterflies in the stomach but a contract. Look at it like a very long term investment.

I don't know what should I do ,

Make sure that your fiance will have her sister as her bride's maid and then start the bidding from all your friends for the right to be your best man.

Farming is a respectable occupation, pimping, prostituion, lapdancing, stripping and porn pedling is not! At least as far as decent folk are concnered. Maybe in the unsavoury circles you run in all the smut and scum jobs are commendable, as long as you can cash in. Anything for filthy lucre, innit?

Or perhaps some of us have simply read and remember chapter eight of the gospel of St John.

"You're not marrying her family" is a typical myth peddled by those who want to destroy marriage. Because if anyone actually believes that (other than the very few couples that emigrate and break off all ties), they will soon be in for a rude awakening. Because YOU ARE in effect marrying not only one person but also their relatives and circle of friends, their likes and dislikes, habits and priorities.. There is always Christmas and Easter, birthdays and anniversaries, christenings, weddings and funerals, Sunday dinners, family visits and a myriad of meet-ups that can be pleasant occasions or dreaded ordeals. So beware of marriage-haters and family-bashers who try to tell you "you're marrying just one person!" That is a bald-faced lie!!!!

Becuase YOU ARE in effect marrying not only one person but also their relatives and circle of friends, their likes and dislikes, habits and priorities.

Hmm that is a good point. I didn't tought about that when i gave my opinion. Now it made me rethink.

Maybe you are right.

Becuase YOU ARE in effect marrying not only one person but also their relatives and circle of friends, their likes and dislikes, habits and priorities.

Sounds like a reason for not marrying anybody.

But surely as a christian you show both tolerance and forgiveness, just as Jesus did, don't you?

Only if they go and sin no more. The Jesus you so hate but love to quote never said: Keep on wallowing in your filth!
Harry

Only if they go and sin no more.

So if she sinned in the future, could you judge her then? Or would you still be bound by His words about judging not and about casting stones only when you are without sin?
Polonius3  980 | 12275
20 May 2015 /  #18
Only is she repented and truly regretted her sin. That's the whole point. The libertines claim that "anything goes" and if it's pleasant admn feels good go for it". To those characters the very idea of sin, repentance and penance are totally alien concepts. And you know it, so enough of your trademark baiting for today.

Only is she repented and truly regretted her sin.

And if the possible sister-in-law of the OP hasn't and doesn't? Are you going to ignore the words of the son of your god and judge her? Are you the one who is without sin and so can cast the first stone? Perhaps you might like to remember Matthew chapter seven too.

chapter eight of the gospel of St John.@Harry

Jesus said to her, "Go now and leave your life of sin.
Jesus did not condone what the woman had done Harry.

You're even better than Satan at quoting Sciupture.@Polonius to Harry

What do you expect from a non believer.

Are you going to ignore the words of the son of your god and judge her?@Harry

We are not judging her Harry, the fiance said his parents would. Are YOU trying to bait us ?

But surely as a christian you show both tolerance and forgiveness, just as Jesus did, don't you?@ Harry

My name is Johnny Reb, not Jesus so it isn't quite as easy for me sometimes Harry. But I try my best.
I personally wouldn't judge the sister if that is what you are trying to (bait) insinuate.

Perhaps you might like to remember Matthew chapter seven too.@Harry

Thanks for reminding me Harry as it descibes you to a "T" where it says "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs.

Concordance:
"Teaching should be given in accordance with the spiritual capacity of the learners. (dogs)
The unclean dogs of the streets were held in low esteem."
The girl admittedly came from a bad family so with no moral fetchin' up so what do you expect from her?
She was only doing what she knew, just like you.
Now your turn Harry.
Perhaps you would like to quote us what 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 for us.

Have you actually met her family? Maybe somebody is trying break you two up by feeding you a bunch of unsubstantiated gossip about her family. Your mama, maybe? Old girlfriend? Or someone who wants to steal your girl?

Well Thank you all about your opinions but the satiation have many circumstances that effect My relation with her, that I have already accepted however discovering that her sister is such stripper and act in erotic movies that is not accepted for me or my family and im sure of that because as many of you said its about 2 families together not only 2 person getting married .

Hopefully, not too many people are judged based on the performance of their siblings.
