'Battered husbands' - still a taboo subject in Poland

you started bleeting again...

(hint) You might want to note that this thread is titled, "Battered Husbands....."

Gentlemen (and women of good faith), here is another example of a woman who complains that men are actually talking about being battered in a thread dedicated to, well, men who are battered. The nerve......

this might be just a myth, but i'm sure i've heard that 'battered' wifes get issued with a little book and every time the police are called.. a signature and date are entered.

I think it's a myth, unless you're living in a place where they have a serious shortage of police officers? I mean, aren't the cops supposed to show up when they recieve a phone-call about physical abuse?

aren't the cops supposed to show up when they recieve a phone-call about physical abuse?

They are but, many men don't call the police because culture suggests they "take it like a man"
and because the police will arrest the man even if he is the one abused.

fathersandfamilies.org/?p=10842

From the link:
"I've written before about the police program in Maine that purported to train officers in the handling of domestic violence calls........The program taught that in none of the situations was it correct to arrest the woman. That included one in which he said she hit him, he was bleeding, she admitted that she hit him and both said that he hadn't hit her. Still, he was the one to be arrested. The fact that she had committed a crime and he hadn't was never mentioned in the training materials."

Until recently, the subject of men as victims and women as batterers has been very taboo.

you seem like a very intelligent and thoughtful person, so I'll try to explain. Those are extreme cases, tabloids, TV gotta make money here... Honestly, I'm just telling how it works .

I'm fairly confident that you can follow the same steps in Poland.

Until recently, the subject of men as victims and women as batterers has been very taboo.

in Poland? or in the US?

you seem like a very intelligent and thoughtful person,

Dont' forget modesty, that's my biggest virtue.

I'll try to explain.

Dialogue is a beautiful thing.

Those are extreme cases, tabloids, TV gotta make money here.

That's understood. My main complaint has to do with the news being presented in a "politically correct" way, and of course much of the false information dealing with domestic violence comes from feminists. Journalists and reporters seldom questioned many of their outrageous claims

(feel free to ask me about some of them).

do you suggest they change their culture?

Yes, men should begin to complain with the same frequency as the fembots and women should finally understand that they can't have it both ways.

zimmy wont feel so ashamed about being a little camp

I have no idea what that means. Do you sit on a bidet when typing on your laptop?

My main complaint has to do with the news being presented in a "politically correct" way, and of course much of the false information dealing with domestic violence comes from feminists.

I don't understand what you mean by this. Are you accusing women of distorting the data? Why would you justify any sort of domestic violence? Are you saying feminists act like men never get hit?
ZIMMY  6 | 1601

I don't understand what you mean by this.

"The Munchkins called me because a new witch has just dropped a house on the Wicked Witch of the East. And there's the house, and here you are, and that's all that's left of the Wicked Witch of the East. And so, what the Munchkins want to know is - are you a good witch or a bad witch?"................Glinda (the good witch)

(Whenever Dorothy kept saying that she was not a witch, Glinda didn't get it)

Are you accusing women of distorting the data?

Not all women but the feminist cults do. Your comment may be the biggest understatement ever in these forums. Whether it's the "one in four women get raped" or the "Superbowl hoax" or the 100,000 women die from anorexia nonsense among dozens of others: the feminists constantly make up their own figures especially on how evil men are. To read their own self serving in-house studies, one would think that 5 out of every 4 women get battered.

For the sake of brevity, although you can bet that I'd be happy to later expound on this subject, here is a llink by a woman who is logical, not bitter. In this instance, she explains the 'gender gap' feminist lie.

american.com/archive/2010/april/the-equal-pay-day-reality-check

Naturally, I didn't need someone to point out reasons for the alleged pay gap. Logically, I immediately understood that women lose seniority on the job when they take care of the kids; thus losing 'work time'. Now for the biggie; women do not do the dangerous professions which pay more (and that explains why 93% of all work related deaths occur to males). Somehow, feminists believe that a woman selling cosmetics behind the counter should make the same money as a construction crane operator, etc. Logic seems to escape them.

my edit; (I'm in a raucous loud restaurant and am hitting the wrong keys)

, btw we're talking about a husband getting beat up by a wife and that being a taboo subject.

I said it already, this is not a taboo subject here in the US, and the proper term is "domestic violence". Any normal person regardless of their gender would simply call the police.

Zimmy, the stuff you've attached earlier is a trailer park crap, and a person living here would know that.

Hypothetically speaking if you're getting beat up by your wife or she is threatening you, hmm, something trailer park, I don't know, she's threatening you with a knife, you can just pick up a phone and call the police.

There is no point in talking about extremities anyways...

If you're just gathering thoughts about your wife constantly beating you up , remember to collect the evidence, photos, sound recording, broken teeth off the floor etc. and file a domestic violence report whenever you feel ready.

The police take this stuff very seriously, regardless if you're a guy or a girl here, and you can go to jail for filing a fake domestic violence report as well.

Why do you guys keep talking about this anyway? Is anyone here getting beat up by their wife? You guys come up with those weird as$ subjects...

Here is what you do in the US when you get beat up at home.

this is not a taboo subject here in the US,

The feminist lobbies attempt to make this a non subject claiming that women rarely, if ever, assault their mates. If you don't know this then you don't know how this cultural assault by feminists, which is now evident, has excused women from domestic violence responsibilities.

Any normal person regardless of their gender would simply call the police.

I've already listed a couple of links proving that when men call the police, they are often the ones arrested. There is that built in bias which feminist advocates have in effect instituted into law. Your inability to comprehend this explains your ignorance.

the stuff you've attached earlier is a trailer park crap,

Just because you live in one doesn't mean that other people have your experiences.

You guys come up with those weird as$ subjects...

Try reading (and comprehending) the bottom line sentences in the following link which overview the subject matter with statistics. Since there is an immense amount of matter here, feel free to skip every 10 studies or so to get the gist of it. Maybe you just might learn something that you don't know........just maybe.

Untrue, there are plenty of support groups in the UK for abused men

Could you give me any address for these, or any support group. or a national line.

I suggest googling Ms Erin Pizzey who opened up the first shelter for women in England. I then highly suggest reading what happened to her after that.

Ms. McElroys' site (ifeminist) does an admirable job explaining how current culture works.

ifeminists.net/introduction/editorials/2006/0104sacks.html

From the link:

"The California Battered Women Protection Act of 1994, codified in Health & Safety Codes Section 124250, et. seq., created funding for domestic violence shelter-based services. However, by defining domestic violence as something only experienced by women, the statutes exclude male victimsfrom receiving state-funded domestic violence services, including shelter, hotel arrangements, counseling and legal services."

"While police intervention often works for abused women, abused men understandably fear that once the police are involved, their wives will accuse them of being the abuser and it is they who will be believed. Draconian arrest policies often direct police to make an arrest, and police are often pressured to arrest the man."

I highly recommend reading the whole article and otherwise continue visiting Ms McElroys'
objective reporting in similar matters.

I said "googling" not oogling.

The great Ms Pizzey who puts feminists in a tizzy.
fathersforlife.org/pizzey/planned_destruction_of_family.htm

From the link:

"Soon beaten and battered women with their children were coming to me for help. There was no literature on battered women, so I wrote 'Scream Quietly Or The Neighbors Will Hear.' I was immediately in trouble because the book was not 'politically correct,' it discussed family violence and I refused to let the Managing Director politicize my book. By now I was giving the figure of 62 women out of the first hundred women who came to the refuge were as violent or more violent than the men they left. Also many were prostitutes taking refuge from their violent pimps. This infuriated the Women's Movement."

Yes, indeed, the "equality" and tolerance practiced by feminists must warm many hearts;

"When I published 'Prone to Violence', a book about my work with violent women and the children in the refuge, I was picketed by hundreds of banner-waving women. 'All men are bastards!' read some of the banners. 'All men are rapists!' shrieked another. 'If those banners said Jews or black people, you would have arrested those women,' I told the policeman who had come to say that I had to have a police escort all around England for the book tour."

Who cares about what you say? Everybody knows you're a stupid motherf*cker. A clueless whiner with a damaged ego, probably too f*cking UGLY to be true, all frustrated because some girl told him ''NO'' a few decades ago. What is it with you? Is your d*ck too small? Lost your common sense a long time ago? Or were you smacked around town by your mother? WHAT!?

Yes, indeed, the "equality" and tolerance practiced by feminists must warm many hearts;

Projections?

all frustrated because some girl told him ''NO'' a few decades ago.

The year was 1855.

What is it with you?

In what category?

Is your d*ck too small?

Lol, I thought only women used 'shaming language". Now I see that men who are manginas also do. But seriously, I am actually thinking of having pen!s reduction surgery.

were you smacked around town by your mother?

Once on my dupa when I broke a neighbors window when I was 9.

WHAT!?

Hmmm, I touched a relatively young man's ego. Still a bit fragile eh?

Idiot.

My IQ tests let alone my achievements prove your comment to be untrue, but if it makes you 'feel' better than I'm glad to have been of service.

Here is an interesting article from todays Chicago Tribune. John Kass wrote about a 'domestic' situation he encountered.

Exactly!

A poster here stated, "aren't the cops supposed to show up when they receive a phone-call about physical abuse?". Another noted, "document the evidence"; but right there if front of a cop and a reporter, it didn't matter that the woman was witnessed to be the aggressor.

....and of course that slant in our culture along with many others discriminate against men.
The law may be neutral but how it is carried out is not. That has been a principle premise of some of my threads. One too difficult for the illogical to comprehend.

I would tend to agree with that. I bet you’re one of those guys that spent a lot of time stuffed in a locker in high school.

I've already listed a couple of links proving that when men call the police,

Those guys are douchebags, btw we need to put that word in an official dictionary describing you in a one sentence.

Just because you live in one doesn't mean that other people have your experiences.

You’re right I never got beat up by a girl, they don't hit so hard. I assume getting punched by a girl feels more or less like getting hit by you. My advice? just smile and tell the b1tch she's crazy then walk away.

Try reading (and comprehending) the bottom line sentences in the following link which overview the subject matter with statistics.

every man in Texas talks about getting the sh1t kicked out of them by a girl.
My advice to you is to step away from the keyboard and go do something manly like shark fishing or join the military and shoot some “terrorists” so our women don’t have to worry about getting x-rayed at the airport. I think you should consider a sex change. Promise, I’ll get the door for you.

Havok:Those guys are douchebags,

A Johnny Carson curse: "May a woman falsely accuse you of violence and have you arrested."
You can then call yourself a "douchebag".

I assume getting punched by a girl feels more or less like getting hit by you.

Like I said, You like lose your bets. Now, I could share some info about myself which would cut down on all that smoke blowing out of one of your orifices but I admit to enjoying your false bravado so lets see how much more needless chest pounding you can do.

go do something manly like shark fishing or join the military and shoot some “terrorists”

I won't repeat my hunting, fishing and target shooting sojourns here; I've noted them elsewhere in these forums but since you like to shoot-from-the-hip, I'll just continue to be amazed at how big an ignorant blowhard you seem to be. It seems that you are one of those loud-mouth Texans which other Texans are ashamed of.

Maybe you are really from Oklahoma.

I think you should consider a sex change. Promise, I’ll get the door for you.

At least your courteous. As to the sex change, I don't even want to know why you think like that. Maybe it's because you're all hat and no cattle?

past June when the U.S. Supreme Court knocked out Chicago's stringent, unconstitutional anti gun laws.

Yeah, that is progress. I read you bought a gun and had to take it down to your local precinct and ask "permission" from the cops to have it .. and they usually told you to scram. Lol. I'm not a gun nut but that is a crock. Only Wisconsin is stricter about gun laws than Illinois.. even more so than California or New York. And that's saying a hell of lot. You take Indiana, you shoot some joker coming sneaking into your house.. the cops are like , "well.. it is what it is, don't worry about it.."

Zimmy, if you didnt sound so much like a woman hater in here, all the women and men
wouldnt hate you so much.

you should really just try to be less chav and be little more open minded none of these
so called feminists did anything to you.. unless theres something you arent telling us
that we have yet to hear.. cause I think we have pretty much heard it all.
ZIMMY  6 | 1601

all the women and men
wouldnt hate you so much.

You certainly are selective. Lots of male posters have more than agreed with me in these various forums. While I dislike feminists, I don't hate women, but as I've already noted, you are selective in what is actually said, instead you 'feel' what is stated. So it's easier for you to throw around words like "hate" because you have no arguments to the premises presented. That is a common malady. It's a primitive type of defense in human nature.

be little more open minded

That is one of the most ironic statements yet; lol. I've often posted one logical fact after another but it would seem that people like you are too thin skinned to overview a truth. Instead, you, like some others are merely caught up in it.

I think we have pretty much heard it all.

Your hearing is about as good as a rocks.

Just a hint to you and people like you; try to stick to the facts of the subject matter and attack it that way. Surely, you, like others here have frequently only name-called and have not been very good at that. Sure, I've done it too but if you actually read all the posts, then you'd realize that my negative comments came ONLY after some posters inane insults. I'm also sure that this aspect did not register with you.

Okay, I paid attention to you. Happy?

While I dislike feminists

Yeah man it's true.. too many fem nazis anymore in the States. They'll suck the life right out of you. Stay single and screw around I say. Women like that whole mystery man bs anyway.

Look at Charles Bukowski, he got a lot of women and he was ugly. It can be done.. just be cagey is all.

Remember, women like to be unhappy, it's their main past time. Life is too short. Have fun and don't let some broad, brow beat you and make you unhappy. I say this esp. to all my Pole breathen on here , who are pantoflarz and don't want to admit it.

Yeah man it's true

it is not, there is alot of nice women out there, you keep treating them like objects
then of course your going to end up with just that..

lol oh, I wasnt attacking you zimmy. you put yourself out there and I was bored.

I have two older brothers, and all I knew growing up was comebacks. so in my defense
and I am sure you have siblings that razz you, just know it was not an attack, cause I
was stating the truth that alot of people are very annoyed with this same ole same ole
and its nice when you actually engage in other converstation..

why this thread keeps coming back up to the top is beyond me. and I am definately
usually trying to not engage in heated debates like this ,cause it simply doesnt interest
me the way it does you and I am sure others feel the same.

and the subject only goes one way when your debating, thats why i get the impression
that you are a woman hater.. it just sounds that way all the time..

anyways, off to read some more. :)

Well my dear.. I've been tenderized by women myself. Women treat us like objects too. You have to be some underwear model / comedian / bodybuilder / gardener / child rearer.. whatever the hell to get your attention. Evolution hasn't prepared us for this kind of stuff. I like the simple life. I think I've figured women out for the most part. You're just as shallow as we are.. You listen to that Oprah too much.
