Observations and experiences so far about Polish women

That's quite a sad story Bill, your girlfriend did sound lovely but sometimes love can't conquer all.
I don't know too much about how the majority of Poles view gypsies? maybe there was some general dislike of them? there's a bit of suspiscion about gypsies in Britain too.

Looking at a couple of your other posts you do seem to imply that you've been a bit cavalier with the Polish girls you knew,maybe they wondered why you respected her more and treated her better? No woman deserves to be taken advantage of, whatever you think of her moral values, perhaps there was a bit of subconcious anger at you as well?

I'm glad that Roks has made a good life for herself now, hope that you will too, forgive my ignorance but what is 'the stump'.

This thread makes me afraid of the women I am about to face.

1st post here but well... those three things id gladly love in any woman regardless of nationality,.... though they are three things which of late are less and less common in english woman i must say....

and maybe it is me coming from a working class part of england where morals lately are lower than ever in women.... thats brought me to realise that age looks nationality is irrelevant nowadays and as such then its a refreshing change to find women with morals ;-)

I don't understand all the threads regarding women on this forum, it's very confusing. Woman are the same all over the world, same emotions/same feelings. Of course there's different religions/cultural differences which may have some effect, but for the most part if a woman likes you she likes you, if not, she doesn't.....

They make these threads like Polish women are from another planet!

'sickeningly romantic, fall in love very fast' - non of those around people I know. In fact completely opposite so it is not really a western thing. It depends on person. Unless people I know are really bad repsentation of the majority, which is probably true.

'don't care about looks'- I would consider this as a negative unless you mean that they are not overdone.

The vast majority is well-mannered ,modest , caring , romantic , responsible , thrifty.

Where do the older ones meet (older as in 30s/40s)? Just in Warsaw? I've no knowledge of where they meet in Wroc (nor Warsaw for that matter).

To an outsider at any rate, it does certainly seem that if you're 30 or 40 in Poland and a single male, looks like you can forget it pretty much (unless you resemble George Clooney, I guess) unless you want to risk approaching strangers in the street who might then think the man's desperate or crazy.

Don't worry about looks buddy, the worse the better. As long as you have a "nice" personality and are willing to get serious quickly you're guaranteed to get a girlfriend/wife. It is a shame that there aren't many single 30-40's :(


Really? The impression I have so far is that they are faithful beyond all logic. I have heard a lot of times a Polish girl going along with a whole night of flirting to say at the end they can't because of their bf. Love the attention but won't follow through. Seen it, heard it and even experienced it once.

It simply sounds to me that the OP's rock solid evidence in the way of his multiple friends having the same anecdotes about Polish women reflects the type of women his friends date. You get the crazies in every culture - his friends just have bad taste. You can find many women that fit that bill across many countries. I can really only speak for California (and lets be real, I'm not an expert and anyone else claiming to be is a puffed up jackass), but I've seen and met those women that the OP described here.

Nonetheless, as a cultural difference I've often felt that many Polish women make sure to take the time to be well groomed, attractive, and a different type of traditional thinking does pervade many areas. Then again, I've primarily only been in Warsaw which could be vastly different than other regions.

Whenever someone calls all women crazy, my main reaction is the he's bitter or ignorant. Hopefully neither is the case...but look at that, my stereotype about dudes who ***** about not getting chicks in a forum is about as great as most of these Polish women bashing posts.

Of course I'm stereotyping here but this is the experiences I've observed in my life...

Pro's: very sexy - oftentimes some of the best looking girls around but as far as personality for the most part modest, boring, conservative, ambitious, intelligent, clean, great fashion sense, religious - namely Roman Catholic, like to dance, very much still in tuned with the '50's housewife' mentality if that's your thing and it often is in marraige, independent in terms of personality but oftentimes not financially, likes to drink and party sometimes (but looks at drugs even pot with disgust). PL Woman can be the most loyal too though if you find the right one.

cons: oftentimes very materialistic, likes to argue, very insecure with image and self, strives for family and material wealth, self-centered, willing to screw people over for personal gain or prestige, boring in bed - totally vanilla even the more 'freaky' ones have nothing on Dutch, German, French, etc. or even Black girls, PL girls will leave you for someone with more money, boring sex drive, loves to gossip and one up her friends, will make their bf/husband do things they won't want to do or complain when a guy just wants to go drink with his buddies or watch tv., overly conservative mindset, oftentimes racist and judgmental,

I am a 26 year old manager at a healthcare corporation and have dated all types of girls. However, the things I want in life are oftentimes different than the 'average' males. Hence, a 'con' of mine might be a 'pro' for another male.

I personally don't want to marry or have kids. My friend who's a corporate attorney married this Polish blonde bimbo that was like 10 years younger than him... Yeah, her and her $20k boob job took off with his Porsche Cayenne and half his estate... only took em about 5-7 years... She cheated on him during several of those years fyi.
