I know that this might annoy some of you (and it even slightly annoys me), because I'm classifying something by nationality again, but what is your opinion based on your real experience? Are Polish men truly romantic, or are English or American, or any other nationality (overall, I'm not just talking about individuals here) more romantic? Do they treat women with care and are they sweet? I have only dated two Polish guys, and both of them seemed acted that way and they were really sweet. But are they really this way?
It's hard to answer that question. There are plenty of guys that are sweet, but there are also plenty of guys that are ********. Just like anywhere else, you know.
I'm wondering if Polish guys are reading this thread. LOL
Anyways, I've never had bad experiences with Polish guys in general. None of my ex- boyfriends ever cheated on me (!). They were very caring, generous, but kind of boring at the same time. Or maybe they were just not my matches.
I had a Polish bf from Gdańsk for nearly three years, and he was very romantic. And when I was sick, he cared for me, made tea, and was very attentive. We had lots of fun, too. He was very creative and always had me laughing.
He was a bit high maintenance in some ways, but we were very happy. It was one of the best relationships I ever experienced. We broke up due to the fact that he needed to go back to Poland and finish his studies for four years. LDR are very hard to maintain, and he was much younger than I. In the long run, I wanted him to have a normal life, and children. We had the best of what we could have at that time.
No, I studied about 300m from Politechnika on Miszewskiego street, my brother studied there but there is round 10000 students studing In Politechnika so there is little chance he ever met him, Politechnika is very hard to graduate and I know loads of people from there who are very inteligent, Im sure that you know club 'kwadratowa'(square...) witch belongs to Politechnika, I have been there many many times having really good time...
I agree! The ones I met seemed to only care about themselves. He was a player and didn't care how he treated girls. Not very respectful...well to my face yea but would lie a lot. Say he would do something and not do it.
Seems to think he was wonderful..and made judgements on everyone else.
hahahha chorus boys definitely could use a trip somewhere down south...check out that east european paleness right there lol:) and yeah...stop your BUDNISS hahah...or something along those lines there is a live performance somewhere on youtube too hahah.
Apr 24, 10, 23:17 - Thread attached on merging: dating a Pole guy
I am Asian and currently dating a Pole guy. We're in the getting to know each other stage. He makes me laugh a lot and he can **** me off at the same time. I just want to ask for some advice as to how to handle male Poles. He really interests me as he is the first guy that really made me laugh this hard. Are Pole guys in general conservative or liberated?

Same as you would with other men...they are after all just men.
Are Pole guys in general conservative or liberated?
Some are, some are not..some are educated and some are thick as pig $hit..some are attractive some a pig dog ugly, some have lovely manners and some are rude as hell...Same as with all Eurpean nations.
that was sad, but kind of nice because you get to enjoy what you had even if you did not end up together. oh, the guy i am dating is a very sweet and caring man, and he is also way too much younger than me.
I wouldnt go with one. most of them are self absorbed money obsssed they arnt too romantic and they like a woman to be like a maid.one some of them cheat. they arnt too happy either. if I where you I would date western european or American or Brisitish they are pretty decent. I am writing you about Polish men from experience.
nope, they're just puzzies. but if you think that a person incapable of making manly decisions and being so ashamed of almost everything is sweet and romantic.... well, you're quite wicked
Most Polish guys i know act like they always know it all, put this irritating voice on when they are talking to women as if it was to show them they are smarter, talk down to women in general, they're full of unfunny jokes, they find it impossible to admit to any mistakes or admit the woman is right. They're only tough guys when they're p*ssed up. And they try to cover up their lack of hygiene/alcohol problems with a larger than usual amount of cheap aftershave or deodorant. They want their girlfriend to be just like their mommy and once you become an item they let themselves go and start dressing like their senile uncle, lovin the high waisted trousers and socks with sandals :D. So girls, if you like men with poor English and poor nearly everything else, a Polish man is your man! :D :D

In UK an Average Polish man speaks better English then an average Polish woman, this is a fact and this is one of the reasons why I stopped dating Polish women long time ago as I was fed up of being a personal interpreter for them.
Speaking from your own experience?
This man is always speaking from his own imagination...
Wulkan, women tend to be a bit better when it comes to languages and, judging by the Polish men I saw in Scotland, that would likely ring true.
I hate those gum chewing, monkey grinning twats in nightclubs that laugh like a choked elephant. Neanderthals, come and meet your long-lost brothers :)
well, i guess some thoughts in this thread are based on experience :)
based on my limited interaction with a pole guy, i find him cold... and somehow, polite...he tries to not offend someone by using polite words, but the attitude is.. well, slightly caring is an overstatement.. :)
i have little knowhow as to the working life in Poland... but i have a feeling he is tooo serious at work... and well, he loves to walk with his dog during free time and visit the lake... i suppose... what else can someone do living in a country home in poland? :p
generally, i find him polite.. not so romantic, nor caring... plain is an overstatement, i guess, cos as for now, there is no easy way to decipher him :)

I find that very hard to believe, i know quite a few Poles living here in UK and the girls definitely speak better English than the guys. Normally women speak more so they will learn more. Polish guys are rarely talkative, i dunno if they think that being 'mysterious' like this is attractive or something but so many women even on this forum say they can't quite figure out Polish men because of this. Maybe being so vague is to cover up their limited English skills ;)?
polish guys being "tough" is another good joke
They are all mean and manly and up for a fight when with their mates or p*ssed up like i said. With women or with their boss, they will b*tch behind their backs but will be yes men to their face.

Exactly what i just described, they are all distant and overly polite at first and then you can't frickin get rid of them. The more you want them to feck off the more they latch onto you, cos they think you're just playing hard to get. They have a penchant for stalking too :).
Neanderthals, come and meet your long-lost brothers :)
Now that sounds more like it ;D. Plus Polish men have a terrible, terrible dress sense and some seriously dodgy dance moves.
You Polonophobe, you! ;) ;) ;)
Ha ha but how can i possibly be one :P. Polish guys who are living and working abroad are best to be avoided as they are most likely attached and earning money to support their family back home, but they so often omit that part of their life when meeting new exciting foreign women :).
