Hi all!
It has come to the point that I will ask my girlfriend to "marry" me. I say it in this way because we both know and feel that marriage wouldn't be the best for us right now. And therefore we will get engaged. I still want to do it the right way and asking my "future" parents in law for permission. The question for sure isn't coming out of the blue for anyone, so that's not the problem.
The problem is, my polish is very limited to say the least, and my parents in law doesn't speak english. So... I need help to carry on conversation. Both with the question of their daughters hand, and maybe it would be a nice gesture to be able to tell my intentions (which they basicly know but...), that I want to have their daughter as my fiancé and that there will be a marriage in the future. For me it will be mostly formal, my parents in law loves me and I am pretty sure that nothing would make them happier than for me marrying their daughter. They basicly even told us so.
So I need help with the language, specificly how to ask for their daughters hand in a formal way, and also this a little more carrying on conversation maybe about my intentions about marriage (which they are pretty much prepered for) so that it just doesn't end with the one question.
Thanks in advance, and hopefully someone can help.
