Thanks but I'm humble. Modesty is a virtue!

You can read, can't you? I'm glad my wife has common sense and isn't a blind woman bound by convention.

But, a few thoughts were valuable, indeed.

A few valuable thoughts indeed provided you keep your fingers crossed:)))

my priest said to me many times that Catholic Church represent sister Church to the Orthodox Church and that we all believe in Christ and His Mother and in many other nice things.

But also, we Serbians preserved (in Christianize form) one old archaic custom that was once universal for all Slavs. Its SLAVA. We are last Slavs who still worship and understand family custom SLAVA. Simplistically speaking, we Serbians truly believe that during day of SLAVA our oldest ancestor sit on our right shoulder.

I'm not the worlds best communicator:)
Its difficult to explain....

AJ's sentiments depend on luck, letting children be children and making their own minds up seems fine but this is not how it is in practice. There is a big world out there that draws children and without some grounding ie imposing your own values the kids will be lost. AJ then jumps from this free for all to them making rational decisions as though they were based on nothing and life experience is just not a good enough reason/explanation/philosophy.

His view that everyone thinks the same, behaves the same and so on misunderstands the community that we all belong to.

Children are raised within a community with a lot of different views and they need to understand these often conflicting views by parental guidance. I suggest that his restricted view of community (not just the religious aspect) is very polarised its not all or nothing there are a range of views especially when time is factored in.

I don`t have time to look them up.

I'll keep it *really* short and sweet then: If Catholics and Christians of all denominations would *truly* believe that Jesus died for *all* of our sins, then *why* on earth are they *still* repenting and asking God for forgiveness?

No it doesnt, it sounds like lets throw everything into the air and see what happens.

How so? Did I mention *anywhere* that you should stop socializing with people who share your views? I'm just telling you why I believe it's not necessary to divide people and promote some kind of synthetic segregation, based on how we label each other, when we should simply *look* at each other for *who* we *are*, instead of what we believe in.

However, this part is really pathetic. It is not longer philosophy, it is a cry of an impotent. :):):)

I guess only time will tell. Oh, and my girl already knows I'm anything *but* impotent, so maybe you should try a little *harder*?

;)

My differences place me above, pawian. A J and I see it much better than weak sticker folk.

I just wish people could chill out, that's all.

:)

AJ's sentiments depend on luck, letting children be children and making their own minds up seems fine but this is not how it is in practice.

I've made up my own mind. (Half of Holland did!) Oh, and most things in life depend on luck, wether you like it or not. You can't *always* play safe.

There is a big world out there that draws children and without some grounding ie imposing your own values the kids will be lost.

Excuse me, but I *do* have my own values, and I *did* mention that I *would* try to teach them all about life and people as best as I can.

AJ then jumps from this free for all to them making rational decisions as though they were based on nothing and life experience is just not a good enough reason/explanation/philosophy.

You're twisting my words there.

His view that everyone thinks the same, behaves the same and so on misunderstands the community that we all belong to.

I'm saying that whenever people shut other people out because they happen to have different views, they *are* trying to make people behave the same. I don't misunderstand anything, because it's *actually* you who doesn't seem to understand what I've written, and the way you've twisted most of my words just proves that. So you really don't have to explain to people what I've written, because they can read it for themselves. (And that's *exactly* what I mean with allowing people to make up their *own* minds!)

;)
