Lots of round faces on Polish man. I don't think though they are fathering more children than the average.

What makes men attractive is their confidence, self control, intelligence and a sense of humour.
Those that think it's their "looks" that is the problem, most probably lack one or more of the above.

Well said f stop.. I would even take it further: those who are very concerned abut their looks usually are not so strong on all those virtues.

Yes, it is definitely a huge chunk of it but not everything. I believe that the whole person is important with all the traits, inside and out.

The female sex spends enormous amounts of money on make-up (and clothes) so the inference would seem to suggest that women have some inherent need to catch up in the "handsome" category. Men are good enough 'as is'.

Yep; the top 10% have it too easy and when I was a young man I wondered why my bedroom had a particular odor (if you catch my fragrant drift).Then it hit me; due to the amount of recent female companionship too much estrogen still permeated the air. Not to worry; I've since balanced the nitrogen/oxygen levels to appropriate levels.

The real issue is why the famous high slavic cheeks look so sexy in women and so repulsive in men.The same with the fat lips,the thin hair,the light eyes etc.It is exactly the opposite of mediteranean masculine characteristics which look attractive on males and devastating on females.

Germanics are probably more balanced.i

I like men who are not classicly handsome, rather more average having something pretty in them (smile for instance ;)
It's good when a man is tall, atlethic type but not a jock type. Guys, it's a huge difference when you pump up your muscles but not doing a sport. A man should look strong and have balanced (proportional) body build not steroid muscles which are just ugly.

This Artur Boruc has Slavic eyes and cheeks but also a certain Germanic mix.


They are germanic jaws with edges.Slavic are more round.Mediteranean have a shape like Totenkopf.The germanic jaw shows the power of the will while the Slav appears indecisive.

For me description of a nightmare is a man with rich scalp (long curly, wavy), and woman with something like feathers on her head.


That comment is known from those who traveled around south europe, handsome men, equally unattractive women. Women can really look rough. Usually dark hair implies already some strength opposite to slavic blonds who appear gentle. So, coloring the hair to lighter nuances has also that purpose, to soften sharper facial characteristics.


Once while visiting a friend in southern Germany, I played with one idea for 2 days. I saw a couple, they were heteresoxual, you could feel it, but it was practically impossible to distinguish who is the male and who is the female. They were dressed similarly (so no clues), they were both fat and had boobs (no clues there either), they both didn't have any make up( clueless), and they behaved the same. My german friend told me that the person with the longer hair! is a man. I think that he used a way he buttoned his shirt or something meaningless as that. Then we heard the voices, and man had slightly deeper one.

i have to say, that was the hardest case in a game "who's da man?" frequently played there.
So, yes you can say they are more balanced.

They have to have eye for those details....Otherwise Frau or Herr can be a tricky question.

Actually german women have deeper voices than men in many cases.I guess it is due to the SS stereotype.I usually distinguish F by who is carrying the leash.
