your best bet is the curious maverick who has refused to join the masses, but there really aren't many of them. they tend to be v much worth it, though. rare gems. but i am biased.

I guess that makes you a maverick aswell then. Some mavericks catch a little too much abuse for their curiousity though, so they might carry a lot more scars than the people who have chosen the way of the least resistance. You might want have a lot of patience with some of these rare gems. (Most don't have the stomach for it though!)

Define good ones. You have bad looking guys who are infact good, and you have decent looking guys who are bad. You have good guys who did something wrong, and you have bad guys who did something right. Your question shouldn't be why all the good ones are taken, but your question should be who is good for you..

i don't know if you guys know what irony/joking/etc is?? Obviously i don't think every Polish man gets married at 21!

BUT
there is a hugely strong tradition of marrying relatively young in Poland. It DID used to be (and not so long ago - and still v much so in some areas/social groups) that people were expected to

fall in love in high school or shortly thereafter, marry their sweetheart and grow up/grow old together

for several decades in the UK, this has not been what you do - the trend has been to 'have a life' and then worry about having no family in your mid to late thirties, panic, and marry anything that comes along, and spend your 40s trying to make up for lost time.

I repeat the word 'trend'. am not talking about individuals. am talking about general movements. And I stand by the assertion that if you take 1000 UK guys aged 25, and 1000 Polish guys, significantly more of the Poles will be married. Yes, the culture is changing, but it is still going strong.

And by the way, anything I say about Polish women is meant playfully.

Hardly, you'd be surprised to hear that there are plenty of Polish men who are sick of the "princess" attitude and quite like British women :D So you didnt get a "rare gem" you got one of the masses joining the ranks!

In a Polish household it's the guys that are spoiled not the girls. The correct connotation is "Polish Prince".

i wouldn't say that, i think Polish men are also curious about girls of other nationalities, i've only dated one polish girl in my life, maybe it's because there aren't too many Polish girls where i live, but also i don't go our looking for a Polish girl, here in America there are many cute Irish, Italian, German, Dutch, whatever girls, alot of girls are really picky they want a hot guy, who's rich, treats them good, let's himself be controlled etc.
