Why do Polish girls think they are fat all the time?

They don't have big but excellent butts. The best on this planet. Used to model the of the rest of the world.

at least to me, this looks perfect.

There is a proverb, it isn't not from this part of the world. 'You can never be too rich or too thin'.

There is the national pride.

Speaking only of SE Michigan, girls from Poland one meets at Polish cultrual events, clubs, shops and Sunday Mass at Our Lady of Częstochowa parish are generally known for their svelte figures and tend to be slimmer their US-bon Polish-American counterparts. Whether this changes over time as their US sojourn endures -- nie wiem.

Go stand outside Mcdonalds and look at the younger ones. Fast food culture is making it's mark.

If you step back in time to the comunist era when food was in short supply and if you had dollars you could buy anything. If you didn't you struggled and could only look in the window of the American shop. The general population could not afford the likes of sweets and sweet things. They were a rare commodity and a treat. Now they are considered a necessity by some Polish Mothers who justify it because they never had.

The tide is turning and the European malaise is coming.

An Italian guy once told me "It's good to be seen with a skinny girl, but fat ones are more comfortable in bed." and "Skinny girls are like Ferrari's, High maintenance. Marry a fat one, you can afford the Ferrari and have all the skinny ones you like".

The second is problably true :)

Polish men are very demending and the like more often slim girls, so if the girl is not skinny but even more average you will always find a boy here you will say she is fat.

I think its mostly because of the men.

I think we should all become demanding like polish men and give a degree of permitted obesity to germanic type.

I think there is some truth in this statement. Can't speak for Poland but amongst many of the immigrant Poles in Wales the women are quite dependent on the men financially,few are particularly well educated and are consequently forced into lower paid jobs. A man becomes a financial necessity, this especially amongst women who drink heavily, quite common in my area. I suppose if 'slim' is the favoured look then that is what the women will strive to be. The ones who are not well educated are even more prone to follow fashions that they think will secure a man, hence the excessive hair dye and make up. Until the cycle of poor education and financial dependence is broken this won't change.

This is true.Especially now with the crisis local Polki have turned into a frenzy exctracting every ''fat'' men have rebudndant in financial matters.One of mine sleeps with her boss has one polish bf,one polish fb and who knows what else and all of them are served accordingly.(hopefully I manage to do some favors to her kolezanka as well otherwise a common man can be drawn into abyss).

I asked my partner this fairly recently (although i hasten to add i phrased the question slightly differently!). The answer suprised me somewhat. She explained that i think that she is beautiful and amazing etc because of the people that i compare them too...namely British girls (where i currently live). She explained that she always felt better in England as she did feel like her weight wasn't an issue over here as much, but then explained that when at home, with so many beautiful women around her, all with a near perfect figure (in the eyes of many foreign men) she felt so much more pressure to lose more weight etc so that i wouldn't be attracted to them instead. I found her truthfulness in this strangely refreshing11 So to sum up, lol, i think that the desire to look good is its own curse, the desire to look slim causes this insecurity in what can become a very self-destructive circle.

Most Polish ladies in this country are nothing really special as far as I have seen. But I stay hopeful ;)
