Merged: Are Polish women the biggest moneygrabbers in Europe?

I realise that the subject question is inflammatory but i am serious with the question and would welcome any feedback

I have been in a relationship with a Polish woman for 9 months and we recently broke up,on reflection it should have ended a couple of months ago but during the relationship acouple of things happened that in my experience would never have happened with a british woman

Examples are the amount of money i spent on her,im not a tight person with money but i ended up buying for her a new laptop, watch, clothes, shoes, paying for all our nights out

I realise that mentioning the above sound silly but i would like some insight from other users, this experience ist confined to me ,my friend started a relationship with another Polish girl and after seeing her for only a couple of weeks she was arrested for an offence that she commited in Poland when she was very young, she spent time in custody in the UK but had to hire a Polish lawyer to help with her case, she needed £600 to pay her lawyer upfront,my friend loaned her the money and after a couple of weeks she split up with him, needless to say he is still waiting on getting his money back.

There was also a couple of occassions in my relationship when my girlfriend lied to me and again on reflection i wonder if this a trait from Polish women,im talking about lies which had a real impact on our relationship

I would assume that generous title probably goes to Russian brides for sale

Women & lying...... you don't say

You realize just how difficult it is to pin point a specific culture or even nation of girls a certain way? Now if you were to ask are girls from (Specific city) aged X & from this kind of family background money grabbers: You would get a accurate answer.

I've personally never encountered bigger money grabbers than Southern California but your question pertains to Europe so

Yeah, Stoke-on-Trent girls: bastions of virtue. You got either got suckered by a girl who HAPPENED to be Polish, or you thought it was worth what you were paying for. My wife has never asked me for a dime, and they don't come classier or more Polish that my Lower Silesian lass. Look before you leap.

Actually polish women cannot hold a candle to Russian ones in terms of money grabbing.Polish ask for small money for everyday needs clothing, haircuts, accessories, shoes, make up, small presents etc. They do not ask for furs our other expensive presents like Russian women.

Chances are you were just unlucky,as was your mate.
There are 'moneygrabbers' in every country and we've all lied at some time in our lives.
Most women are decent enough in Poland and every other country.
Immigrant workers are not usually reflective of an entire population and i suspect that you have been
victim of an immigrant girl.
I think the rep for being money grabbing is probably earned not because of sheer numbers of this
type of woman but the total lack of conscience that polish girls show when caught out. I have never met
harder women than Polish women, the bad ones seem to be totally heartless and seem to think it
is their right to exploite, also they always have something or some one to blame their behaviour on.
That said, there are many nice women from Poland, they are not the ones that put
themselves forward though. Both British and Polish men are mugs for the 'goldiggers' because these women
know their craft and who to target, you just need to be less trusting.
These tarts don't have long careers if that's any consolation.

American women are the best at relieving men of their hard earned money. That's one reason (out of several) why many American men seek foreign brides. In fact, feminist organizations continue to attempt to make such couplings illegal.

Why would you think it's a "trait" in Polish women? Ever watch those court shows on television? What is the Judge always saying? Do not loan money to family/friends. Make gifts only and that's that. If you don't want to buy someone something, don't. If you are worried someone is going to break things off with you because you aren't buying them stuff, that person is not looking for a relationship built on shared values, anyway. That person is just looking for someone to buy stuff for her.

It's typical for east European women to look for wealthy foreigners. I suppose one reason is because east European women don't tend to have careers as opposed to progressive western society where women are starting to get more educated than men.

When did that flip around?

well most Polish women I know are highly educated and/or multi lingual while 'western society' seems to be getting progressively less...progressive and many girls want to be pole dancers or WAGS, or get knocked up for a council flat. Just my observation.

In some instances, it's a kindness to a guy, especially his ego, when a woman tells him she dumped him because he does not have enough money.

Are Polish women the biggest moneygrabbers in Europe?

That would be like a bunch of polish women getting on a forum for british and saying are British men always so cheap?

yeah I would chalk this up to learn from your mistakes, nationality has nothing to do with it, I dont live in Poland I have borrowed money

to various people ( nationality not involved) and they never payed me back either.

One thing is trust, and sometimes people misuse the trust and take advantage, you have to go with the flow, you didnt know, just dont

keep on making the same mistakes, learn from them, Unfortunately you might not re-coup your cash.

I took the person I borrowed the money too small claims and to this day still have not recieved a dime back.

its all dust in the wind now.. I doubt I will ever see it.

Yes. Guys can deal with this better because in can be changed/fixed, as opposed to the flaws they can do nothing about, such as lack of character, sense of humor, good looks or sexual interest.

Plus, they can blame the woman for being a gold digger and their ego survives relatively unscathed. Win/win!

why should a wife ask her husband for money? If he does not want to share his money, he should not get married.

The wife then should make her own money
