Some people are, some are not. The same as in all other countries.

Many people have opinions. But I wounder how much they really know about Polish people. How many Polish people have they met? 3? You should be careful when you generalize.

I've dated many women, including Polish. And yes, many of them don't like to pay, even after dating them for quite some time. Have found similar attitudes in other Eastern European countries and would say that the biggest money grabbers, and the tightest, are Hungarian women who refuse to pay for anything. Remember once that I went out with one Hungarian woman who I had spent a few hundred pounds on in restaurants, theatres and small gifts (that she asked for). This woman had the cheek to pester me for ten pounds that she lent me when I was short on one occasion on money, and on another occasion asked if I could pay her bus money so that she could come to see me. What I found odd, was that she had a decent respectable job in the city, and from what I gathered probably earned as much if not more money than me. American women are surprisingly tight and expect the man to pay for the first three or so dates. The most generous women that are happy to pay their own way are Irish and English women - who are probably the most independent.

I have been out with quite a few Polish girls and all insist on paying their way. In response to the original poster and the thread title from my experience I would say it's English women who are the bigger moneygrabbers.

You actually said exactly the other way round as it is :-)

neither me nor any of my english female friends are 'moneygrabbers' - without exception we have our own businesses or good jobs.

I don't know about you guys but in my experience women of all creeds and ethnicity I have been associated with, were fast in grabbing something else than my money.

ive met other women who condone this behaviour and go one step worse and tell a father his a dad - even when hes not.

Tommy, it's really nice you bother to respond to this, but it's probably rather futile ;D There seems to be something dysfunctional about people writing such things ;)

Btw, I'm Polish and I've never EVER cheated on a guy. The same applies to my friends (and girls talk, you know ;)).

One more thing - I can literally spot a foreign man even in a crowded place, like in the street, for example. Not because of his looks, facial features or clothes. It's because of how they look around. When a Polish man walks in the pedestrian precinct he just looks straight ahead. When some really pretty girl walks by he turns his head and that's it. Foreign men, on the other hand, look like they're in a constant women hunting mode. For example, once I was walking with my female friend by a hotel in my city. And there were some men walking out of that hotel. In theory they could be Polish, but just by the way they looked at us I knew they were foreign. Creepy ;/

Another time, some guy was walking in the street with a Polish girl talking to him in English. I was passing by and naturally I turned my head in that direction, as there aren't that many foreigners in my city. And the guy was looking intensely into my eyes o_O That's something they all have in common, as far as I've noticed. Yet another time some guy almost run me over on his bicycle, doing the same thing - looking intensely into my eyes with a smile on his face lol Wtf?

Get over it and you're a fool for buying a damn laptop after knowing her for 6 months. KJ99 - Just cos (i think) you've been kicked in the balls/not treated so nicely by one or many Polish women does not mean that they are Europe's scum. So, perhaps all Polish men should steer clear of Polish women since they are Europe's scum and money grabbers. That would explain the copious amount of Polish men moving to Europe not just to make money and but also "do' the English women instead :)
