I am 30 years old, artistic, creative and just one big walking cuddle! I am a big softy and will never harm a fly and generally accepting of other cultures but I could do with a little help with getting to know new people from Poland! My last experience long time ago has been pretty bad and weird! My last man from Poland he was a bit of rat!! He was pretty cheap; behaviour wise and more! He was all over me like crazy full of I love you rubbish, wants to be a dad at 40 so badly, trying to get me pregnant, then I find out in the end he is linked to criminals, he has a polish girlfriend ( I found bank statements belonging to her! I also found lovely subtle love messages which suggests she knows what is happening, she is waiting to get into the UK the quick way whilst he goes around getting as many other UK women pregnant! I lasted less than a month with him!

I was absolutely disgusted! He was talking to me like a dog and treated me like rubbish after being all lovely and charming in the beginning! He was very cheap and expected me to give him money and I bought him food and little wine glasses, drinks and when I did buy him food he wastes it! He never even got me flowers or anything. He never made much effort to keep me happy, he really didn't care as long as he got what he wanted! One of the times I was there, I was crying and feeling really frustrated because he was neglecting me and dismissing me!

He was focusing on his drunken Scottish and polish male friends more so than me! He was cleaning his house 20 hours a day for two days which didn't need cleaning! Pretty excessive! I came over to his place in the belief we would go for romantic walks enjoy nice romantic dinner too and spend quality time. I was really really upset! I couldn't go home because there were no buses, I didn't have any money left because I spent it on his food and drink! He was a complete dick!

The best part? When I was crying and feeling upset, I told him nicely whilst crying, I feel neglected and dismissed and bored to tears! I have never felt like this with a man before! He started swearing and being very Irate! He showed aggressive behaviour, he slammed his fist down on the table and started screaming and shouting calling me a little bas tard! That kind of energy could be channeled into giving cuddles and love! Seeing that made think I will not put up with that! No way! What is he going to be like in the future? Already he showed signs of being controlling towards me in the last days with don't wear make up, don't drink, what are you doing and where are you why are you at the pub? Why are you eating at a hotel with friends?.....too much! . . . Any way! After he left the room in a huff, I found bank statements belonging to some polish girl on the window sill, then Facebook messages of other girls in a flirty manner and in the end, I found out more stuff too! He pretty much scared me! Oh too much! So I just played cool and then went away early in the morning! Then I blocked him!

So if your a cheap type guy! ( I mean behaviour wise and how you treat women!) Please! Get lost! Polish or not! Rich or poor! You just simply don't use me and hurt me!

I am a very kind girl, I don't cause fights, I don't fights with people! I am a peaceful and caring type it just hurts me a lot when I do a lot of caring, I get stamped on! I am not interested in those who claim to be part of the mafia and those just act like dicks! Please! Just get lost if your going to hurt me and take advantage of me! I am not the type that will harm a fly!

These bloody types like the guy I have mentioned give good polish people a hard time and it always takes a minority or individual to cause friction with other people, particularly here! I know people in the UK are a random bunch of good and bad! I understand there are people wanting a new life and so on. I am Scottish and I do realise there are good and bad every where! I do want to engage with polish people and I also want to learn the polish language and culture more! I have major problems trusting people! Because of idiots taking the monkeys out of my good nature!

I am a girl that likes to share things with good people! Caring is in my nature and I guess that comes from my family of nurses! He he!:) l have a big heart, I don't follow convention so much! I just do my own thing!

I like to travel, I like painting, drawing, cooking, learning new languages, trying out new things! :) holistic therapies, etc.

I don't drink a lot, I don't smoke tobacco! I do support legalisation of cannabis! Hint hint!:)

I just simply want to meet nice friendly caring loyal trustworthy people!:)

I would love a decent polish boyfriend! I don't want to be strung into false promises and hopes! I am a romantic type! Just don't want another repeat of bad nonsense! As I am a very soft hearted affectionate type, don't see this as a chance to play around with me! I am not the type that is into playing games!

I welcome new friends both male and female! I really don't like ****** two faced type women! Not my style! I like girls that are just nice and honest and friendly! I am a very very friendly, laid back, easy going girl!:)

I don't like violent people, I like open minded, intelligent, sweet, caring types!

Thank you for reading this! I hope you you understand that I am a genuine girl and very accepting to good natured genuine people! I know your all out there!

There are good and bad Polish men -- that's for sure. The same with Polish women.

I have met a few Polish women here in Poland and the only thing that they are interested in is your ...money:)) They don't really care what you bring to the table:)

So I would definitely prefer to marry a non-Polish woman (Christian or Catholic) than a Polish one.

Yes, and even if it were, may I say, as one woman to another, that it's not the best idea to introduce yourself by complaining at great length about your previous boyfriend.

don't wear make up, don't drink, what are you doing and where are you why are you at the pub?

That is a major cultural difference, not wanting to sound snobbish, but especially in working class Polish circles (and yes, class differences do exist in Poland). Once a woman is in a relationship and definitely once she is living with a guy, she doesn't go out socially in the evenings with her female friends nor does she have any male friends or go out in mixed company without her 'man'. Couples socialise with other couples. Girls go to each others' houses to hang out but they don't for example go for a drink, a meal, to the cinema. There is no such thing as the 'girls' night out' or a weekend away with the girls for shopping and a bit of craic. As for the pub, it doesn't really exist in Poland in the same form as it does in the Brtitish Isles. A Polish guy who's lived in the UK for a few years should be able to understand that going to the pub is a normal part of British culture for both sexes, but..........

whilst he goes around getting as many other UK women pregnant!

He is simply trying to enrich the gene pool, in this case the Scottish gene pool. What's wrong with it?

He was focusing on his drunken Scottish and polish male friends more so than me!

That's quite normal in men. They tend to gather in groups outside their homes since that helps them form prospective groups of warriors. This way they get to know each other better, so later on they will know on whom they can rely during a fight on a prospective battlefield. That's something that has been developed in them during the thousands years of evolution. This phenomenon (gatherings in open air) may have disappeared in Western Europe, but can be still observed in some parts Eastern Europe or Russia.

All in all, your former Polish boy-friend may be a typical Stone Age man who would be heading for Stonehenge at the winter or summer solstice so as to render hommage to his ancestors, on his way there he would be trying to make as many women pregnant, on arrival in the place he would be eating a lot and drinking as much alcohol as possible, and back home again his group would be fighting anew with other groups of similar Stone Age men. [Latest scietific data show that people travelled to Stonehenge from all over pre-historic Britain, even as far as the Orkney Islands, along with their animals meant for the killing to celebrate solstices there. This had stopped around 2,500 BC when newcomers from the continent brought bronze tools with them and thus the Age of Bronze started on the British Isles.]

You are a woman of a Modern Technology Age who do not realize that it will take more and more thousands of years for the Stone Age to vanish completly in us, men. [Having said that, I myself am more of a modern technology than of a stone age man.]

Yes, men definitely still do that in 'real' Warsaw as opposed to gated apartment developments. It's a male bonding thing. The interesting thing is that it's not just the young guys either, men of all ages gather in groups outdoors. Of course from a purely practical point of view, obviously it's much pleasanter in spring and summer to enjoy the evening air rather than be cooped up in a stuffy, overcrowded apartment.

the Stone Age to vanish completly in us, men.

Completely agree Ziemusz. I wonder also if the thing of men not liking the women to go out is a primeval instinct of worrying about leaving the home untended and vulnerable. The woman was traditionally the keeper of the home while the man might be away for days at a time.

Also have you noticed how men seem to get hungry much oftener than women. Women can go all day with nothing to eat but if men don't snack they can't concentrate and get irritable. I think that's part of the Stone Age man thing. Man needs to be motivated to hunt, hunger keeps him motivated, anger gives him the adrenalin and energy he needs to go out and hunt something when he may already be feeling physically weak from lack of food. Then women had to stay for days with perhaps very little to eat while they waited for the man to return.

Nonsense Atch as to "The girl's night out". Just not true - sorry:))

Lots of girls go out both here and in Katowice, my daughter and her pals for one. And my lab is always pleased to get their attention.

They tend to gather in groups outside their homes since that helps them form prospective groups of warriors.

Yeah - low class behaviour, and no one wants to clear up after them or listen to their stupid laughter. There's a place for that.

It's called the pub, and I love calling the Straz out on these low-lifes who pollute my local forest with non-returnable beer bottles and the rest..

Thank you.

You mean a parked car, p. ;) ?

Yes. not bothering anybody else.

European Law says that loitering is a criminal offence. That refers to men, hanging around on wasteland, or in forest, drinking away, and polluting the environment.

Go back to your village and act the peasant life if you will - but if you do that on my lane in Gdynia I will call the Straz out - and they do come sharpish, surprisingly enough.

And what if they only hang around, but are not drinking and polluting the environment like the people who did it at Stonehenge?

And what if they only hang around, but are not drinking and polluting the environment

But those TWO things are what you Poles do outside when gathering for your "folklore." Why else are you doing it?

Poles who do this are too mean to spend their money in the pub or restaurant, and instead think it's OK to act the peasant as I stated before. And it's not OK for nearby residents, and us respectable folk walking our dogs. I have a beer too, but keep it hidden, and keep the dog from barking and causing noise pollution - whilst these student types shout and carry on with their false merriment. We all like a laugh, but not at the expense of the local inhabitants.

Time for the Polish ASBO I believe.

"The girl's night out".

Lots of girls go out both here and in Katowice

The single ones, but not the married ones. I've never come across a group of married Polish women (and certainly not over the age of forty) who go for a night out together on a regular basis. I may well be wrong but I don't think it's a cultural norm in Poland whereas it most definitely is in the UK and Ireland and has been for many years.

When I used to travel every day on the Dublin to Wexford train I frequently encountered groups of women heading down to Wexford for their 'girls weekend' enjoying their picnic basket and their bottle of wine on the lunch time train. You would also notice that it's cross generational. On occasion there might be a group of up to twenty women including three generations of the same family sometimes! You will not see that in Poland. You'll see it at family gatherings when the women are in the kitchen making vats of pickled delights and getting a start on the fresh pasta at 3.00 in the morning but you won't see it on a train to Kraków on a Friday afternoon!

Forgive me for ranting about my last idiot! I am just putting my foot down and having a good shout out! I am fed up with coming across charming people who turn into nonsense! No! It's about time I started standing up and spouting how I feel and think! Reading this some of you guys will have thoughts about oh another typical moaning girl who is thinking where are all the nice men? No not at all! I am one of nice girls just in the same boat as the nice guys who has been screwed around a lot!!

I just want a good man who can share things and I do the same! Not take take take and play the peasant card! Yeah he is a stone age man! At least thinks and acts like one! Lol

This man lives in a rough end of town on the outskirts of Glasgow... say no more! As for normal behaviour? My god! There is drinking then drinking to excess! Not to mention the mix of sectarian rubbish and spouting i r.A and mafia rubbish too and how they are all part of it! Followed by his peasant like mentality by treating and talking to a woman like rubbish!! I am really not the type of girl who is into all that nonsense! I am anti war, anti violence and really don't care about Irish politics and all the unionist / I .r.A stuff! Total bull in my view !..same with mafia stuff! I just don't want to be part of any rubbish and fall into that kind of rubbish!

Granted you get good and bad everywhere, I just want to meet good people and not be taken advantage of either! I don't own a crystal ball to tell the future! No one does! However, please! Just don't be a total horrible person to me and don't play me around either! Just because I am a softy and a kind girl does not mean take full advantage of me either!

I am not a rich lady! I am working class! I certainly have morals and decency about me! I am not a plastic snob either!

Thanks for the little cultural tips! Please keep them coming! I am interested and curious about polish culture and social culture and more! I want to meet good people and I am trying to accept people but I have problems trusting people! The last idiot? Oh! Pretty bad experience! People can come here work, claim benefits, etc. It's just that the last man was up to no good! He just saw me as an easy target and thought hey! I will just romance her, treat her like rubbish, try and get her pregnant, get what I can from the state, tell polish girlfriend hey I can help you get settled in the UK quicker! Baby pops, claim the child benefit, take it off her and probably other girls who are UK citizens that he has tried getting pregnant and does the same, gets UK citizenship from one of them ....The lovely polish lady gets settled and lives comfortable with the guy...fantastic scam! I just thought get out of this so called relationship and his rubbish behaviour? His aggressive manner? Get that to hell!

Love the last post up there about Ireland lol fantastic!

Love the post about the stone age man lol

Love all the posts here! Glad to hear people with a sense of humour! Well I realise that times change but we are still in the dark ages! Sadly lady here in the future is slammed down on psychiatric medicine, told by people your not right in the head what? Because I don't want to cause wars and love and cuddle and show world peace? but government in the us and UK are and stone age man from Poland is very normal? Maybe I should join them on their vodka sprees and go crazy!!!

Your user name should be Flower Child or perhaps Flower Fairy! Any time I think of a good user name for forums they're always taken :(

Listen Fluffy firstly, don't focus on finding a Polish guy, does it really matter what nationality the guy is, you just want to meet someone nice. You say you're artistic so why don't you try to join in a few things where you'll meet other like-minded people? Can you sing, what about joining a choir ?? Singing is very therapeutic you know and singing in a group feels great. You could even do some volunteering, you'll meet a lot of nice people that way whose heart is in the right place, have a sense of social justice etc. Maybe there's some community group in your area that needs helpers to organise summer events or something of that kind. You won't necessarily meet a man but you may make some friends who will enrich your life and through those friends you'll meet other people and the elusive Mr Right might be among them!

No but I love how you guys talk:) lol its comical:) to me it sounds like vampires on speed lol I don't know it's a cool accent!

Listen! I was being sarcastic about being on psychiatric medicine! I was meaning it literally because there seems too much bull in the world and too much idiots in the world hurting others and too many ending up being pointed out as sick in the head when really they are not! They are just people with souls that want a lover and good company! I am not on any and I don't have a mental problem!

I have dated many other people and I was once in a relationship with a polish man who I ended up being engaged too but sadly went missing years ago somewhere in Poland! That was around 7 years ago. He was a really nice guy!

I have dated many other guys from here and other countries. The chemistry and circumstances didn't work out. Some of them ended up being my friend.some ended up serious and turned into total nonsense and dumped me!

Thank you for posting all this intense stuff about yourself. Reading your first synopsis I became disturbed and instinctively opened my bottle of pills, just in case another fit came on. However, it occurred to me that there is always some good in the somewhat bad. A silver lining in the clouds of despair, as it were. And so it is! Yes! Good news = There is always someone else worse off than we are. This is true, and I feel ever so much better about myself. In fact I am ecstatic, and I have put away the pill bottle for good and all. Knowing that there is you with all your perturbations and there is me with fewer [ really, none at all, now, thank you], I've decided to celebrate! Joie de vivre has blessed me! I shall celebrate by dancing in my apartment, fully unclothed, with the curtains open, all the lights on and rattling my tambourine, blowing my whistle and sending the cat completely out of its skull! Is this not better than going to Lourdes? And cheaper, too! A miracle, St. Fluffypanda.

--
A private aside: according to another thread, Polish men like their women to have masculine faces and long, pointy noses, [imagine Pinocchio with a mustache],and Herod Baba, [whatever that is]. Perhaps, Ali Baba? Who knows? You're missing out on something. Maybe, you are too short so that when the sozzled Polack wants to take a swing at you he can't focus, you being so far away. Buy stilts.

it's a cool accent!

Bear in mind that most regular posters here are not Polish and the few Polish men here seem to be either married or spoken for, so be careful you don't end up wandering down that road again. As Rozumiemnic pointed out this is not a dating site, so telling posters about your big blue eyes etc is a bit pointless:)

Well another stone age man will get stoned!!! Even better! I will use what the Colombians use on their victims! That special flower dust that makes peasants think everything is real and nice and will do anything for you!! they follow your instructions, they empty their bank accounts...oh this will be great to use on those who claim they have no money and treat women like rubbish!...then I get them to wine and dine me! :) buy me flowers and instruct them to leave and go home! The next day, they will not remember anything!

Excellent:)

Roz I love to get stoned! I am little hippy in a way so yeah:)
