my first post, so hi all.

Ive recently met a polish girl who i really like (im english), we seem to have clicked and I dont want to make any mistakes with this girl.

I want to know, are polish women very different to english women? id be interested to hear from any english guys out there who have a relationship with a polish woman and their thoughts. In general, do polish women make better partners than english women? are they more loyal? are they more grounded? are they less inclined to be materialistic? do they value the simple things in life more?

so far, she seems very honest and sweet and hard working, i respect here strength to have come to the uk to better her life.

Get used to the idea of making mistakes?
;)

I'm Dutch, but I've dated English girls aswell as Polish girls. I'd say they're pretty much the same. (I know some people here hate to hear that, but if they weren't so much alike, then why are they all trying to find a better life elsewhere?)

:)

Girls will be girls, no matter where they're coming from.

i respect here strength to have come to the uk to better her life.

Good!

I'm a NZer. I can say that a wonderful Polish girl isn't going to make your life easier, but she will make your life more rewarding. Pluses and minuses :)

I think less inclined to materialism, but then how useful are generalisations.

I love this.

Polish women do seem to have a bit of a blame culture even for something so trivial or total accidents someone has to be to blame.

Oh.... and it's never them.

It's always you.

Hey, you'll just have to give them something to work with? Oh, and if you can't think of anything that's even remotely annoying about you, then you should probably make something up. Works!

xD

My Polish partner is fantastic, every thing you could possibly want in a woman. She is kind, thoughtful, loving and loyal.............. however.............. she didn't like England much and so took me to Poland to live........... in the cold, snowy, -25 winter that never ends .......... But at least the rain is warm in the summer.

Polish girls have deep microeconomic thinking but lack in the makro- environment.

Just be yourself and don't be an idiot. You will make plenty of mistakes.

My Polish GF was one of the most confusing people I have ever met. While I loved her dearly she was a major pain in the a$$ at times. She never ever knew what she wanted.

hehe, best not ask me, hahaha.. but one word of advice be prepared for the end, if there is a start! If she's showing interest, great, if not, get away fast! Either with a relationship end or a non- starter, be prepared to ignore her if needs be, when things go wrong, as she just might do it to you. and never chase her will scare her away!!!

Respect her culture, read up on the history of Poland, because if you come over here even if it is just for a visit, the more you know about the history and culture, the more they will warm to you. Finally if you want it to last, DO NOT forget her name day.

nah not really, just good looking english girls are even less accessible, probably part of the reason us english go for the Polish girls to be honest. The polish girls can be nice and talk, and be all interested etc, before they change, or something goes wrong, and they become very very much the opposite

Well, they have moments where it's all clear to them, then others where it's clutching at straws in the dark. It has been said by foreigners here that they don't always have a clear idea of what they are after.

If you find the right one, and they are hard to come by, she will make you the happiest man on earth. She could be Polish, English, African, whatever :). There are a few quirks that come with Polish girls such as the cuisine (if she can cook), the accent, history and stories, crazy family (hopefully crazy in a fun way lol) and loads of random conversations. Polish girls tend to be quite intelligent and outspoken too. And then there's 'other stuff' southern brags about so much, you ask him ;). Like with anything else in life, if you find the right one you will have hit the jackpot.

Of course there's a huge variation among Polish girls, as there is among English ones. But on average I'd say Polish girls are less materialistic, more health-conscious, more interested in their extended families, more independent/feminist, more thoughtful, more sensitive toward sleights or being treated inconsiderately, more thoughtful, more inclined to use smilies in emails and texts :-)

I am in a relationship with a polish girl after having been with an english girl.

Things started amazing with the polish girl, she is beautiful, we did everything for each other ... but now our relationship is in tatters. Her moods swings are killer and she seems in constant conflict with herself about what she wants in life. She is torn between her love for me and then her desire to be free. Just a sip of alcohol turns her feelings against me everytime and leads to massive arguments.

My previous relationship with the english girl was calm and consistent.

Conclusion: If you want an emotional but fiery relationship then choose a polish girl. If you want a laid back life then stick to english.

Update: Just found out my Polish girlfriend cheated on me last night with a Polish guy from work, they slept together 3 times! Despite me doing everything for this girl and her always telling me how much she loved me and how I was her whole life.

English guys with polish girlfriends be very careful!! I never thought she was capable of this and she was left my world in tatters.

Of course there's a huge variation among Polish girls, as there is among English ones.

This plus more conservative, more religious, better looking, better figures, care less about looks and money, speak their mind/more outspoken. If you want a relationship with a girl don't use sexual banter or push it like you would with English girls. This has been confirmed by personal experience and by my friend's girlfriend as a major turn off. Get used to higher intensity relationships and jealousy. Welcome to Poland ;)))
