hello
im coming to poland in 2 weeks for a large wedding, the wedding will have around 250-300 guests and i have never been to an english wedding before so i have no idea what i have to wear, im going with my polish boyfriend and i could ask him but i would like it i i could pick the dress and buy it and for him to agree with me, the wedding is in legnica and it will be rich people attending so i dont want to let my boyfriend down by looking stupid... any advice would be great...

The dress is OK. Only advice - It would be nice if you cover your shoulders where in Church. Of course - it's not necessary but I am sure that it gesture vould be appreciated.

...I would not chose that dress. Rem,ember it has to do for the church (where your arms should be covered), for the meal (sit down for few hours) and for the dancing (vigorous dancing). Can you see yourself dancing the polka or other fast moving dances in that dress - if yes, it's o.k.

Remember people might say that you're trying to compete with the bride.....
I would have rather chosenthe floral print dress.

The most amazing dress I have ever seen. Its sexy and prudent at the same time. In my opinion the most perfect style of dress ever invented:

Love how the girl who's a patriot on the picture is from India or somewhere :D

Its the Union flag, not "England" flag, so I can live with it :D

Oh come on, its just a maxi dress, its the fashion - are people really that shallow that they'd even give it a second though?

I would have rather chosenthe floral print dress.

She could then dab cat pee round her ears and have the complete "old lady" look :D

Okay joking aside, something like this is appropriate for a nice wedding:

My sis had asked our cousin Ula how we should dress, for an upcoming wedding in Poland. She said not to wear anything black and no hats. (Like we'd really want to wear a hat anyway...)

The dress is great, but not in black or white.
And in Poland it's very important to cover your shoulders when you are in church.
Do not worry so much you will have a LOT of fun polish weddings are awesome!!!!!!!!!

I am writing a blog from the perspective of a Pole living in America and one of my posts was about coming to a Polish wedding for the first time. Perhaps it will give you some perspective of what to expect....
