Problems with receiving overseas SMS messages from my Heyah SIM card

I have a Heyah SIM "pay as you go" and i can receive local SMS messages and all their advertising JUNK but i can't receive an SMS from my overseas banking system and depending on the day even local SMS messages are delayed. Have checked to see by putting my SIM in another phone and still no luck.

Have talked to the bank and after testing they said their SMS messages are "Timing Out" and i can only receive SMS messages with numbers in the header but not computer generated SMS. It looks like Heyah doesn't want others to send advertising or doesn't care about their customers, so then i called Heyah support and they just wasted my time with no answers and bad attitude.

It seems heyah customer policy with regards to support is if you ignore the problem long enough the customer will just give up.

I personally would NOT recommend Heyah to anyone, But i want to see this through so my questions is how can i make Heyah actually do something...

What can i do to resolve this issue?
Who can i call ?
Is there a telecommunications governing body that can push Heyah? like in other countries?

What country are you in?

Previously, my pre-paid number from Plus would not receive SMS sent by the bank in Poland when I was in a certain middle eastern country. It turns out that the telecom authority in that country had blocked the messages assuming they were unauthorized advertising - per their own words, and they refused to even talk about the issue further.

I have a friend with a pre-paid number from Play, and he cannot receive ANY SMS while travelling to specific countries.

Sometimes it is because there is no rate agreement between your service provider in Poland and the one you are using abroad.

The only advice I can give you is to agree on another form of authorizing transactions with your bank. That is how I had to do it.

Why don't you just get your bank to text your new number?

You would probably need to physically go to the bank with ID to change your registered phone number.

Naw, I've changed my number a few times with my bank (pre-pay, then personal bill phone, then to a work phone), did it all over the phone.
