Only the poor Poles are buying at Biedronka?

Seems the duck succeeded in insulting his entire electorate with telling that only the poor shop at Biedronka.
I was surprised that he knew how to handle proper money (with his mother handling the family budget). I guess using a debit card would have been out of his reach though.

Not just the poor...those rich idiots that like Chinese rubbish shop there too....

I shop in Biedronka for the basic stuff. Don't see a problem at all.Besides, it is CLOSE.

For staple foods it's ok - anything processed and it's better to shop elsewhere. For families on a very tight budget it's often the best, even the only, option, and the duck should be a little more respectful of the electorate.

At least the Poles don,t do what i have seen English people do.... shop at Netto , then swap the food into Tesco bags in the car park before driving home and unloading in view of the neighbours....

Bottom line is that prices in Poland have soared in the past 4 years. Then some dumb statement comes out that Poland has the cheapest food prices in Europe, which of course is laughable when I can purchase cheaper in most other EU states. Not to mention, they fail to reveal the earning potential elsewhere.

Biedronka is the largest supermarket chain in Poland, doesn,t that speak for itself ?
It,s one of the leaders on the Warsaw stock exchange. So maybe Kaczyinski is correct, there,s so many impoverished Poles that they are able to keep Biedronka ahead of the other so called high society supermarkets. In other words, they haven,t much choice where to shop.

Anyway, I shop there sometimes, it's easier than carrfour.
It is cheaper than most places apart from farmer's markets but I have to becareful what I buy, they have very similar packaging to well known brands but are tasteless cheap replicas.

But most of the stuff is grand, it's the saem as Lidls isn't it?

I actually prefer Lidl, if only because you can pay with a debit card there.

They don,t sell Heinz beans....which is a bit of a shame....and their Chinese made elecrical stuff is a bit of a joke....but yes....i go shopping there...

When i lived in Poland i shopped at biedronka often. I had a well paying job too and never felt embarrassed about going in there. Why pay more for something just because the store looks nicer???

The person is so socially inept, can't drive a car doesn't have a bank account etc. And he wants to be PM of Poland! He has no idea what real life is like, he doesn't have a family for instance, he has no idea what life is like for a couple with children. I wouldn't hire him to clean my toilet, and he wants to run the Country! This is well and truly beyond a joke, the man is a joke! I believe the Polish description of the man would be niedolezna uferma ludzka.


Wrong he didn't blame it on Kaczynski, he was simply trying to demonstrate how out of touch Kaczynski was with reality and how out of touch he is with ordinary families. And may I say he succeeded with flying colours.

to tell you frankly, no matter where i buying, i regularly tries to buy products produced in Slavic countries.

See, for example, there is that good Polish TEKANNE tea. Serbs consume it in great quantities.
