Whats with going to sauna naked in Poland?

Yes, at Blota. Quite nice, but not great for the river - the currents too strong and the water not clean.


In the gents' loo, a lot of them can't go to the loo if there's anyone else in there. Psychological apparently.

In saunas (which tend not to attract the shy) I've never seen clothes though - just towels.

You must be kidding! Some guys don't want to go to public toilets if not alone!!!!

I myself am not "brave" but undressing in front of people, even of other sex doesn't bother me. I mean to get undressed when necessary not just for the sake of it ;).

Before being operated on, I went through comments written by Poles and one (Polish) woman had asked whether during operation, she could keep her ... underwear on ;).

Remember that a lot of bigots keep their nightwear when having sex and when washing....

I don't know what you are talking about, I'm saying you are clueless. Women rarely feel comfortable about their bodies. Do you think that being naked in public is somehow a sign of self confidence and comfort? Stripers must be a pick of the crop then.

I'm sorry but the original poster seems a bit dim... If you are using a sauna as a warm up you obviously don't get the point of a warm up prior to a work out.

Secondly if you were asked by five people why you were dressed in a sauna... Does that not tell you something???

Finally you get all sweaty in clothes and then go use gym equipment... Have you no consideration for anyone else???? That's disgusting.

For gods sake grow up. Nudity is not something to be frowned upon... It's called the human body and it's nothing unusual.

Precisely. In somewhere as fiercely hot as a sauna, why drape your body with various textiles, and if someone is so repressed and inhibited that they fear nudity, why go to a sauna at all.

Exactly. Or like the OP, you can just sit in one wearing sneakers, tank top and shorts and look like a total idiot.

I usually just rap a towel around my junk which also provides something clean to sit on.
It also provides privacy from wondering eyes by those funny boys.
