Poland private medical cover - going downhill

A well-known central Warsaw private medical outfit (you might know the hotel!) has given me decent service over the years, but these last 18 months has seen them impose waiting lists for insured services or service-now-if-you-pay-again.

I should have been born in Tunbridge Wells.

There are other private medical operators, take your Zlotys to the provider of the best service.

Medicover have also been going downhill lately. The problem is that they have so many customers that they don't have much interest in customer service. Each time I've called and tried to get an appointment at any of three of their centres in the past two years it has always 'day after next' at best but then when our office manager give them a call and says "Can you get this guy in sooner", they always manage to find a slot that day or no later than the next morning!

Also, if they have no free appointments, they tell you that you have to call them at 7.30 the next morning to ask them to get a doctor to extend his hours there. They won't do it themselves the day before or just make a note to speak to the doctor and then give you a call!
