[moved from]

One lives it up, drives a Mercedes, drinks all the time, and makes bank by Polish standards.

This is exactly the type of liberal or "affluenza" disease which has touched many Polish Catholic priests nowadays.

There are some very conservative and PIOUS priests in the southern and eastern regions (Podlaskie region where Saint Popieluszka was born), but you have to search very well to find them somehow.

Usually to be found with expensive clothes, nice cars, nice living quarters, a lover and possibly several children.

The more conservative the priest, the bigger the hypocrite he is likely to be.

Another broad, unsubstantiated generalization from you. There are good priests and bad priests, so what's your point exactly?

That is a blood slander boy. Also you are confusing monks with priest. Don't tell me that your average minister in your Kirk doesn't take anyone and life on bread and water in an empty cellar.

The main purpose of every priest should be and must be taking away souls from the devil and making them go to Heaven after death.

Some priests do it, the others don't...what have YOU done exaactly to save at least 1 Catholic priest anywhere in the world and make him go the right way??

It depends on the individual... yes there are priests who change into an Armani t shirt and jeans and hit the clubs on the weekends and there are those who instead hear confessions and read the bible. There are rabbis that denounce genocide and there are those who extort funds for 'kosher' blessings. There are imams who support ISIS and others who are against it. Like with any race, faith, nationality, political view, job type, sexual orientation, etc. there are good and bad apples.

Poland in general suddenly began to experience a free market as communism fell and so consumerism and materialism became much more prevalent in society. Some priests stuck to their values and morals, some did not.

It depends on the individual.

in my humble opinion , it does not really make sense to compare Catholic priests to imams, rabbis, protestants, Evangelical priests, etc. In 2016 (with so much powerful and irrefutable evidence) we all know very well that ONLY the Holy Catholic church is the only true and real religion which exists in the world.

BTW, if you have 2 liberal priests in your family, it's also your duty to pray for them and intervene in their actions in every possible way to make them go the right way....

6 years of Nazi occupation and 45 years of Soviet puppet rule have sufficed to destroy social voluntarism.

I don't think it ever existed in Poland did it?? The lack of a large middle class who are traditionally associated with doing such charitable works would preclude that. That's where the origins of social volunteering lie. Poland was far more feudal with the local gentry being the main givers of charity of whatever kind to their immediate community. That system of course existed in many other countries but in the British Isles and especially in the UK there was the founding of organisations of various kinds for the betterment of the poor especially in towns and urban areas. The list of such groups is endless and they were manned by ordinary people. The same tradition exists in America.

The main purpose of every priest should be and must be taking away souls from the devil and making them go to Heaven after death.

The main purpose of every priest is to serve God and do his work here on Earth, practising and promoting by example and not merely instruction, the three theological virtues by which we as Catholics should live, that is Faith, Hope and Charity.

the Holy Catholic church is the only true and real religion

I sincerely hope you don't think everyone who isn't Catholic is destined for Hell??
