whats your trade/profession?

Graduate of Lodz University, major banking.Did few odd jobs in the US.Lately had a small (3 vans) taxi company in Ocean City MD but sold it and during housing boom was working for a plumbing company in MD/DE as a quality inspector (testing and punch out).

If you don't mind me asking how long have you been back in Poland and hows it going?

For almost 6 months, curing the depression I fell into in the States.I would like to stay in Poland but I have a big problem with the system/government here and I am not going to support it in any way.Poland itself is not bad (of course I am biased as I grew up here) but could be much better.

How long were you in the states for?

Since 2004.Going back there within the next 2 weeks and moving from Delmarva to Illinois.Have to go back to school to get American diploma and hoping to get a job with some bank in Chicago (as it is easy to start there because they are looking for Polish speaking tellers) or at Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Nah,not yet, though I am pretty sure I won't be staying in the uS till the end of my life.

did you notice many changes since you left?

Since 2004 I have been back in 2006,2008 and now.I would be back more often but it's a pain in the a s s to travel.

did you notice many changes since you left?

Yeah, some for better some for worse. For instance, instead of widen a road they ******* got rid of this emergency half lane and put these ******* islands in the middle of the road.If I had to drive here I would be like WTF are these obstacles? Some new and pretty big buildings in Sieradz and on the outskirts of town some people built freaking mansions and I mean mensions. These houses would be going for at least a milion USD (but probably more) in the US.Wonder where they got money for it.A lot of driving school's Toyota Yaris (pissing the rest of drivers off) so it seems that everyone wants to drive (and Americans asking me if there is a lot of bikes in PL when I am telling them how much is petrol in PL).

cant remember if you came back to visit or not....

I came for longer visit (can stay here for up to a year without losing residencey in the US) but my mother is kicking me out now so next thusday I will have to catch a plane to the US.

if you cant beat em join them hey?

Yeah,it is time to start some career (I hate to think that I will HAVE to do certain things, what I liked the most about my little taxi company was that I was FREE and didn't really have to do much) and be done with it a s a p as I can not wait to go on retirement.I will buy myself a little cottage in a countryside in Poland or Czech Republic and won't be giving a **** about the rest of the world as long the world won't be bothering me.
